"What do you see when you look at the wolf," Nikolas asked, his eyes wide open.

"Aroooo!" Antonia's wolf whined.

The others glanced at themselves, confusion grazing their face before looking back at him, "What do you mean?"

"It's obvious she's a f*****g female wolf!" He exclaimed as though stating the obvious.

"No one, especially the examiners would believe otherwise."

Crossing his arms against his chest, his gaze rested on her, "How did you expect to pass the final trial, huh?"

Without waiting for a response, he ordered, "Shift back. Now."

"Wait, don't shift!" He turned around, glaring at the others,"Leave."

"Arooooo," Antonia's wolf whined after they had left.

"What? You want me to leave too?" Nikolas arched a brow at her.

"Aroo,"

"I've already seen you naked,"

"Aroooo!"

"Okay fine!" He raised his hands in surrender, tilting his head to the side, "Just your bare butt then,"

"Arooooo!"

Sighing, he gave in "Fine, I'll stand outside the bathroom door," he grumbled.

Antonia's wolf nodded to the main door.

"I'm not leaving to stand outside with them!" Nikolas argued, leaning against the wall, "Besides, this is my room too,"

His gaze settled on her as he commanded, "Bathroom. Now."

Antonia's wolf shot a glare his way before she sauntered into the bathroom to shift.

--------------------------------

Fate seems to be on Antonia's side when she wakes up and discovers she has gone back to her younger self.

In her past life, she was given up to marry a failed alpha heir in order to save her crumbling pack. Then, she was sacrificed by her husband after he destroyed everything she holds dear.

This time around, she must change her fate by saving her pack and escaping her hellish marriage. She must prove to her father that she's worthy to be named his alpha heir, even if it means going to an all-male alpha academy.

This time around, she'll live as a boy. Surely, nothing could go wrong, right?

PROLOGUE I
ANTONIA'S POV Very soon, you'll be cast out like the f*cking leech you are! Clack. Clack. Clack. Antonia's heels scratched against the floor. Her heavy footsteps echoing loudly across the silent passageway as she strode with great determination towards a particular location. ‘Did you know that I had a fun night last week riding the alpha? He confessed that he had never done that!’ The words she had read in a letter earlier played persistently in her mind, increasing her fury by the second. With her hands, she crunches the said letter within her grasp. Click. Clack. Bang! Antonia shoved the door open as she stepped inside. Her gaze ran through the large reading room until it landed on the b***h that was her target. With a glare, she advanced towards the red-haired target who was leaning on a bookshelf as though she had all the time in the world. The b***h had the audacity to turn her head around slowly, a smirk on her lips as though she was expecting this reaction. “What's the meaning of this, Alyssa?” Antonia seethed, raising the scrunched-up letter that carried Alyssa's taunts. Without waiting for a response, she continued, “While everyone was busy for the last three weeks preparing for today’s event, you were parading yourself as what? A harlot?” Crossing her arms against her chest, she tilted her head, “You really had nothing better to do to than write letters to flaunt what exactly?” “The fact that you're even lower than a p********e?” Pointing a finger at her face, Antonia warned, “I've had enough of your taunts…” “Is it really a taunt if it's a true fact?” Alyssa cut in, her eyes blazing. Thwack! “Don't you dare look at me with those eyes!” Antonia watched as the side of Alyssa face grew red, “You're just an omega, you should know your place. I'm the Luna here!” “But you don't love him!” Alyssa screamed, “I do!” “And I don't give a flying foot!” Antonia shot back, “My packmates are visiting! Anyone could have seen this letter!” “What? Did the alpha not tell you what damage would have occurred if it was discovered he was cheating on me?” Releasing a sigh, she added, “I'm warning you for the last time. Know your place.” With that, Antonia turned around to walk away. It was time to get ready before the evening event started. “You b***h!” Hands came on Antonia’s shoulder as Alyssa released a shriek and pounced. With a smirk, Antonia grabbed Alyssa’s arms her arms and twisted it behind her back. Turning her around, Antonia whispered in her ears, “I warned you, didn't I?” “Hahaha! Not today, you b***h!” Antonia's brows furrowed as a deep sense of wrongness settled within her, “What?” Suddenly, Alyssa freed herself from her grasp. Before she could react, Alyssa's hand connected with her cheek. The impact sent Antonia stumbling back, and crashing into a table behind her. Impossible. Antonia's eyes grew wide as she stared at the woman before her, “How? You're omega…” “What?I'm supposed to be weak?” Alyssa tilted her head to the side as a crazy smile grew on her face. “Bullshit!” She released a roar and pounced on Antonia. Her hands pressing on her neck. “You're choking …” Antonia's vision dimmed as she stared at the horror that was Alyssa. It was as though her strength was leaving, and she couldn't fight back. She watched helplessly as Alyssa’s eyes turned black and black marks grew on her neck. What the hell? “Alyssa!” The voice of her husband tore through the room, and soon, her neck was free. Gasping at the sudden release, she took long hungry breaths of air as she collapsed on the table. “What's the meaning of this?!” Her husband thundered, “Get out of here!” Cough! Cough! Silence followed as her heart steadied, and she regained her senses. “Here, drink this water,” her husband, Alpha Evans, stood beside her. “There's something wrong with her,” she forced out as she grabbed the water that was offered. Slamming the cup on the table, she continued, “That strength…” “It's nothing!” he cut in. “It's not nothing!” She yelled, flinching at the sting in her throat. “You're discarding what I say, just like before. Didn't you see what she was doing to me?” “I have a lot on my mind,” he said, walking away. Her gaze followed him as he began pacing through the room, distracted by something else. “This is all your fault, Evans,” She accused, “Keeping her here despite her sick obsession with you. This isn't what my father hoped for when he arranged this.” “Now, my pack mates will arrive soon…” “This is your pack now!” He yelled before he resumed his pacing. Shaking his head, he murmured, “It doesn't matter now.” Turning his head to look at her, he explained, “I wanted to take you out. Alyssa found out and is just being jealous.” A scoff escaped her lips as she stared at the man that was supposed to be on her side, “Take me out? For what exactly?” Evans didn't have a romantic bone in his body. They weren't a normal couple– their marriage was just an arrangement. Instead, his actions felt suspicious. Did he do something he needed to apologize for? Something more disgraceful than sleeping with Alyssa? Sighing, she ran a hand through her already scattered hair as she pushed the thought away, “That doesn't matter now. I need to get ready.” “Where is everyone, by the way?” she asked. On her way over, she was so focused on the confrontation, but the passage way was clear with no one in sight, which was weird. “Look, the least we could do is maintain some form of appearance. At least, let's appear cordial,” she suggested as she tugged at her blouse which was rumpled. Looking up when there was no response, she sighted her husband whose gaze was focused on the window. “Are you even listening to me?!” Evans’ brows furrowed as he looked at the watch, “Did that bastard lie?” He muttered. “What?” She tilted her head, “ Evans–argghhh!!” A scream tore through her lips, causing her to buckle at the waist as an excruciating pain exploded in her stomach. Deep pain that felt like the piercing of pins and needles shot through her whole body, causing her lose her balance and hit her face on the table as she collapsed. “Wha-?” She cried out, her eyes squeezed shut as she laid on the floor. “It's about time,” Evans’ voice rang out as he stepped forward, “That foolish girl was so close to spoiling my plans,” Blinking, Antonia fought to keep the pain at bay as she looked up, “D-did you poison me?” She managed to squeak out, “Was it the water?” “What? No way!” His lips curled up as a look of disgust flashed in his eyes. “That’s way too obvious. I've been killing you slowly for the past few months,” he confessed, a crazy smile growing on his lips. Her eyes widened as she stared at him, the pain forgotten for a minute. She always knew he was a pathetic man, but it never occurred to her that he would go this far. “My pack!” She spat out as she gathered her strength, “If they don't see me, they'll ask questions. You won't get away…” “What pack?” He cut in, “Hahahaha…!” He laughed out loud, his hand covering his face, but he couldn't hide his evil smirk. “Let's go. I have something to show you,” Evans roughly grabbed her by the arm, lifting her up. There was no strength to protest against his rough arms as he shoved her through the back door that led to the backyard. Her legs grew heavy with every step forward while her insides felt like it was melting. Despite the moon shining, her vision grew cloudy as she stumbled along with him. “Is this your pack?” He asked as he came to a stop. Grabbing her by the chin, he forced her to look forward. It was the stench of blood that hit her first. Her nose scrunched up as her eyes widened at the sight. Before her lay bodies that were unmoving–They were dead. Blinking, she focused on some faces. Mira, Joy, Beck… “What? What did you do?!” She screamed out as recognition hit her, “What madness is this?!” “I have more surprises for you,” Evans chuckled, “Come on!” “No!” she screamed as she tried to pull her arms away from his. Thwack! Something hit her at the back of her head before everything went black.
