Emma's POV.
Shaun looked a little shocked. He stared at me with wide eyes for a few seconds. It looked like he was trying to collect his thoughts.
He ran his hand through his hair again, and then he walked over to where I was standing.
I had to swallow hard. All of my senses suddenly woke up. It was like they knew that Shaun was near.
"How are you feeling?"
He asked with concern in his voice.
I shrugged, grabbed my glass off the table, and walked back over to the kitchen. I caught his deliscious scent again, and my stomach did that stupid little back-flip thing.
I walked away because I didn't want to be so close to Shaun. I knew what would happen if I stayed. My heart would betray me. I was really angry at Shaun, and I wanted to stay that way.
