Emma's POV.
I packed as quickly as I could, only grabbing what I really needed. A few changes of clothes, clean underwear, and an extra pair of shoes. Whatever else I needed I could buy again.
I almost couldn't believe it. I was finally getting away from Joseph. I was finally leaving this awful place.
I had no idea where Shaun was taking me, but I knew that wherever it was, my baby and I would be safe there. We would be able to start a brand new life, away from this place and all the horrible things that have happened here.
I took the framed pictures of my parents, Amanda, and Daisy out of the dresser drawer and put them in my bag with my clothes. Joseph made me put them away, because he said that he didn't feel like looking at them everyday.
