Shaun's POV.
I have felt so useless over the last couple of days. I'm still really weak, and my body is taking much longer to heal than I expected. Alice says that it's all perfectly normal and that I just need to be a little more patient with myself.
That's much easier said than done. I think that my ego and pride probably took the biggest hit. Jason has been working non-stop at preparing his pack and finding out what my father and Manfrid are up to. Emma has been working with Alice in the clinic. She has become quite a skilled nurse in the short time that she's been here. I have to admit that I'm really impressed with her. She's also been training with Jason and the rest of his pack, against my wishes of course, and playing nurse to me.
