Chapter 3

550 Words
Adrian's POV- The sun was rising, but I knew that no one was going to be awake for hours. I also knew that I had to find out where that car went, so I turned into Andy and ran as fast as I could. But it didn’t matter how fast I ran the car was gone, it wasn’t anywhere almost like it had disappeared into thin air, out of sight, into the void of lost objects. Suddenly, the most delicious, sweet, sensational smell hit my nose. It was like a mix of roses and apples but covered in chocolate. I thought I was excited, but it was obvious that Andy was way more excited than me when he bolted towards the smell. I had to stop him though, if a girl saw a wolf just running toward her she wouldn’t even give me a chance to talk to her and explain. When I realized that Andy was running towards a clearing in the woods and that was most likely the place she was, I tried to talk him down: “Andy slow down don’t you think she is going to be scared when you just jump out of nowhere,” “No Adrian I don’t because can’t you smell that she is a wolf too,” he contradicted. “Even so, Andy she is going to be stunned, let me go out there, I can talk to her,” I pleaded “Fine but I am going to meet her too, and you always said you weren’t even sure if you wanted a mate,” “The pack is everything to me I’m not sure I’ll have time for a mate,” he said doing a poor imitation of me. “I will decide that when I see her,” I concluded, before turning into me and putting some clothes on. But before I managed to step out, I saw her, well I saw her wolf, she had soft fur, as white as snow, and eyes, as blue as the ocean. She was mesmerizing, I couldn’t take my eyes of off her, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to, she was like magic and she looked so contempt watching the sunrise, I almost didn’t want to disturb her, but I had to, I had to know what she looked like, I had to know what she sounded like, what her life was like, what our life would be like. “Okay, slow down and for know just settle for approaching her,” Andy said complaining about how slow I was being. “Fine, I’m moving.” And just like that, I stepped out into the clearing. I walked towards her very slowly not moving my eyes from hers until I kneeled in front of her and whispered into her ear, ever so softly but dominating at the same time, to let her know I was serious, I said: “Show me the real you.” I was excited, like a child on Christmas day I couldn’t wait for her to show me, But then she did the only thing I didn’t expect her to do, the only thing I was dreading about this moment, she turned her back and ran away like a bolt of lightning through the woods away from me. I felt my heart get crushed into a million pieces, and I felt Andy’s too. She was gone just like the car. Gone. P.S This is my first book so thank you for patience.
