AVA'S OFFICE
Lisa Moore stepped into her friend Ava’s office, catching her by surprise. Ava glanced up from her desk, eyebrows raised.
"You didn’t tell me you were dropping by. What's up?" Ava said, setting her pen down and leaning back in her chair.
Lisa smirked as she took a seat, the excitement in her eyes unmistakable. Ava narrowed her gaze, studying her friend before waving a hand dismissively.
"Forget that—why do you look so excited?"
Lisa chuckled, tilting her head slightly. "Why not answer both questions?"
Ava arched an eyebrow. "Fine. I’m all ears."
Lisa shrugged casually. "I didn’t tell you I was coming because it wasn’t originally part of my plan. I just decided at the last minute that it would be better to be dropped off here rather than my office."
