PEPPER PRIDE
It’s spring- almost summer by the smell of the air- in this little world. The grass are green and the trees are thick with leaves. I’ve never been with Jess during the spring.
I’m standing outside a small townhouse and beside me is a similar looking house with a large moving truck parked on the driveway.
A beautiful girl with brown hair wearing a yellow sundress comes out of the house. My heart constricts immediately and I feel tears prickle at the corner of my eyes. I couldn’t help it... after so long. That’s my Jess. She literally took my breath away and I haven’t fully seen her yet. I watch her walk to the truck and hand the driver his payment. She thanks him and smiles kindly.
