CHAPTER 10
Selma and Stacy watched Sal and Micky drive away before entering the house. Mrs. Mase was sitting on the sofa knitting. She looked up at them and smiled. She looked surprised when she looked behind them and saw no sign of Sal and Micky.
“Sal had an emergency call from Mr. Avorn. He said they would be here as soon as they take care of the emergency,” Selma explained. “Mrs. Mase, this is Stacy Clark. She is Micky’s true love. Their guardian angels said so.”
Mrs. Mase laughed. “Hello, Stacy. Micky is a great young man. You will not be sorry your guardian angel matched you with him.”
“It is nice to meet you,” said Stacy. “Everything I have learned about Micky, tells me I am very lucky,” agreed Stacy.
