After we had breakfast, we went to Aren mall which is close to us. It was only twenty minutes away from our house. My mother and I bought a formal dress as we talked about yesterday for the dinner celebration to be held tonight with the Degosman family. I'm really excited because it's the first time I am going to a fine restaurant like Maple. Maple restaurant is one of the most recognized and popular restaurants in the country. Mom, does this fit me?" When I came out of the fitting room. I had a knee-length floral summer dress with a V-neck and short sleeves. "Yes, Elaine, it's beautiful!" My mother said, spinning me around...but my snout was pointed. Mom's smile faded. "Oh, why are you frowning? It's true what I said to you, ah!" Said, my mother. I looked around first. When I saw that the sales ladies were busy with their respective customers who came, I whispered to my mother. "I like this, mom, but it is so expensive?" I whispered. My mother swallowed. "How much?" My mother asked in a whisper. "Five thousand dollars, mom," I whispered again. Suddenly my mother cried out in shock. "What ?! Five thousand dollars?!" She was shocked to pronounce. I covered my mother's mouth and whispered to her again. "Mom, don't make any noise! It's embarrassing. We won't take these clothe anymore. It so costly much." I said. My mother nodded and I removed my hand from her mouth. We turned around..the sales ladies and customers stared at us. Mama smiled shyly and asked for an apology. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. My daughter stepped on my foot and I was shocked and screamed." My mom explained and we hung up the clothes and put them back in the display area. Don't you want the clothes, Miss?" Asked the sales lady who approached us. "Oh, no. It's pretty. But, actually, I liked it. The case is, it's tight in my waistline and at my back." I said. "Ah, is that so. I'll get you another size, maam. The next size." The saleslady said with a smile. "Oh, daughter. I feel like I'm going to pee. Let's go first to the restroom. Let's just go back to the dress later. Measure the size that she says when we come back. Is that okay, Miss?" My mother said and excused us to the saleslady. "Ah, it's okay, ma'am. All right, ma'am, you can go to the restroom first and fit the clothes when you come back here." The saleslady said still smiling. "Oh, all right, Miss. We will be back." I said. The sales lady nodded. We headed to the exit of the store and my mother and I ran away in a hurry. Oh, my God! The price of the clothes there is so expensive. Alas, the five thousand if we will buy it for food it may last to us for a few more weeks, ah!" Said, my mother. She put her palm to cover her chest. Yes, mom. Let us look for cheap boutique shops." I told my mother. "All right. Let's go." My mother said. We went around to the cheap boutique shops and by the grace of God, we found and chose something. When we got home we slumped our bodies in exhaustion and we raised our feet on the table so that our blood could flow smoothly from the feet. "Hey, my daughter, it was tiring to go round and round. to the mall. Your mother is old." Mother said. "Yes, mom. It's tiring to go to the mall. Mom, don't say you're old. Only buffaloes get old, what are you?" My answer. "Ha, gosh! Let's rest first so we can look fresh later." Mom said. "Yeah, mom. You're right." I agree with her. I lay down on the bed to take a nap first. I don't know, I suddenly thought of my dream again. My secret dream is to marry a rich and famous man. He must be handsome, too, of course. Now that I graduated, I want that to come true. And one of the richest in our country is the Reyes Family. The Reyes had five sons. Of those five, the one I dream of marrying is John Carlo Reyes. I smiled asleep as I thought of its handsome face. .I was disturbed by loud knocks. Tok! Tok! Tok! "Elaine! Elaine! Get up, child, hurry! It's four o'clock, child, get up quickly and maybe Jerrald will come soon!" My mother shouts, waking me up. I look at the clock, ten minutes before four o'clock. "Yes, mom! I'm going to take a shower." My answer...moreover my mother stopped knocking. "Go ahead and hurry up and get dressed," Mom ordered more. "Yes, ma." My answer. I tore the blanket and folded it. I made my bed first before I went into the bathroom and took a shower. After I took a bath, I combed my hair to dry quickly...then, I applied lotion. I first put a facial cleanser on the face then moisturizer afterward. I also put a primer on my face to make my face ready for make-up. I put cake powder first. I shaped my long and beautifully shaped eyebrows and put on eyeshadows. I just added earth tone color so it's simple. Then I followed with mascara and eyeliner to further define my puffy eyes...my eyelashes are long - eyes that I inherited from my father. I contour my nose then my cheeks blush on. I applied an old rose-tone lipstick to match my simple make-up. I also simply fixed my hair. I just took a little on both sides of my hair and twisted it around and then I met them, tied the sanrio, and chuckled with a nice pin to hide the sanrio. I already wore the new dress that my mom and I bought at the mall earlier...it is a formal dress with the hem of her skirt one inch above the knee, and her color is pastel pink. I looked at myself in the mirror. I was pleased with the result. And I came out of the room with my shoulder bag and sat in the living room. "Oh, daughter. You're ready." Mom said to me. "Well! You're okay too. Jerrald is the only one missing. "I replied. " "Yes, he is coming soon. It's six o'clock." Mom said to me. I glance at the wall clock. Like mom said it was six o'clock. "All right, let's just wait for him, ma." My answer. "Hey! My girl is really beautiful." Said, my mother. "I look like papa, right?" I answered questions to my mother. She smiled affectionately and stroked my hair. "Mom, where is papa? Is he alive or dead?" I asked my mother. I don’t know where my father is...every time I ask my mother she is quiet and I don't know why. Like now, she stared at me. We stopped talking when the doorbell rang. "Oh, that's probably Jerrald." Mom avoids my question. She stood up and headed for the door to open for Jerrald. I also stood up to follow. "Good evening, Rosa," Jerrald said. "Good evening, Jerrald. Oh, there's Elaine." My mom informed him. "Hi, Elaine," Jerrald greeted me. "Hi, Jerrald. Let's go now?" I asked him. Jerrald just stared at me. "Jerrald? Are you okay? Hey!" I tapped him on the shoulder. And he came to his senses. Mom giggled. "Huh?! Uh, of course. Come on, let's go." Jerrald replied. She supports my mother and me. In short, he was in the middle and we walked towards his car. .
