Chapter 14

Jess was paler than normal as we all rushed to the balcony. As the others crowded around Jess, Sinister moved to the railing and looked down at the ground. Seeing Dimitri looking up at her, he gave a wicked grin and a small bow as he then took off into the forest. "f**k" Sinister mumbled under her breath as she turned to look at the other's. "What happened, Are you alright my love?" James pushed past the others to gently place his hand on her chin to bring her eyes to his while his other hand was placed on her stomach. "I am fine" Jess breathed out still in shock on what had happened. James didn't believe it at all in his facial and body language. Sinister cleared her throat and looked at the group in front of her. "Are you going to do it, I suppose?" Her ice-blue eyes flickered at Jess. Jess didn't have to say anything. Sinister new what her choice would be, even if the others didn't. As everyone flooded back into the throne room, Sinister stood behind and watched the outskirts of the forest as the sun soon began to fall. Something didn't settle right in her stomach and she couldn't place it all. Her eyes scanned every inch of the border. The other room soon became empty from the talking and worried conversations that had been talked about all day. Sinister didn't stop from the task that might come. She knew Dimitri wasn't one to give up on something he really wanted. Hearing the light sounds of footsteps, a smirk formed on her lips "Yes, Queenie?" Jess moved to lean over the rails next to Sinister." He spoke of my family, and how he was the last of his kind like I am." She blurted out "What do you know about this?" She asked expecting the answers from Sinister. A soft and low chuckle came from Sinister's lips," And that is how he is going to mess with your mind?" Sinister spoke, not looking up from the ground. "He isn't messing with anything. It was a simple question that I want answers to." Nodding, Sinister spoke. "Yes, he is the only one in his pack and as for your family, on that topic of that he must have done some snooping around." "Explain what Dimitri's pack's name was and how they were killed. Stop giving me the run around and just talk to me" Jess had a small demanding begging tone in her voice. "His pack was the Silver Moons clan, a nasty little pack if I must say." Sinister made a face as Jess then spoke "Explains the old tattoo on his chest" She mumbled under her breath. "His little puppy clan was taken out so fast that there are many rumors and theories on how it happened." Sinister shifted her weight as she spoke more "Nikita found him and took him as a small weak lad. I trained him, of course, to be who he is now." Jess seemed like she didn't want to hear more from Sinister as she wasn't getting any real answers like always. Sinister grinned lightly as her footsteps carried away from her ears. The thought was burning in her mind of a raging question that she didn't want to think about any longer. As the castle's door was lowered to the ground, a black horse raced from behind. "And where are you going little girl?" Sinister mumbled as she watched for a moment before she jumped from the rails. Landing on her feet, Sinister raised a brow as she then followed the racing horse. Keeping close to the nighttime shadows, Sinister watched as Jess would slide off the horse and tie it to a tree. Jess patted the horse lightly just to be taken from behind. Dimitri had placed a small white cloth that smelt of chloroform on it. Sinister couldn't do anything but watch. If she intervened, it could end badly for her or Jess. As Jess went limp he would swoop her over his left shoulder and walk deeper into the forest. "Better luck next time Sinister", he called as he walked. Sinister growled as she turned to head back to the castle to wake the others. As the throne room was filled with angry shouts and threats, Sinister just placed her plump round ass on the throne. "I think you staged this, You got her kidnapped" Hela pointed her finger at Sinister. "I couldn't agree more with you," agreed James. "Oh please" Sinister stated "And why didn't you stop it again? Stage fright?" Lukyn chuckled. Sinister rolled her eyes at their little attack comments. "I bet you had this planned all along!" James screamed as he punched the wall, leaving a huge hole in it. "I've told you the reason why I didn't stop it. Now stop all this fighting". Sinister shouted back "Well, this is war on the Immortal Kingdom, and we shall make it burn to the ground". James reached for his blade and pointed at Sinister. The reptile then spoke "We can't just get rid of Sinister. She might be of some use to us, a guide in the Immortal kingdom", he finished as he looked at James. James was clearly pissed that he had a point about that. "Fine, Shadow is right on that note" He stepped up to Sinister and drew his blade to her throat. "But when we get Jess back and bring her home, then I shall put you on public display and finally end your vampire life" His tone was rough and painful. Sinister took the end of his blade and placed it on her throat as she spoke. "If that helps you sleep better before this battle, then please dream well of it" She spat as she then removed the blade with a harsh push from her throat and stood to look at James with anger. They locked eyes for a moment before Lukyn soon spoke "Well, with that stated I am going to go and get messed up before this battle that is ahead starts." He turned to leave, as the female that was with him would follow out the door as well. The others began to remove themselves from the throne room as well. Sinister looked at the male that was left. "You are still here because?" Sinister questioned. Stefan smirked as he spoke with his arms crossed. "Where are you from?" Was all he asked. "That is none of your concern, paladin," Sinister scoffed as she moved past him. "The funny thing is, it seems to be that you look a whole hell of a lot like someone I am screeching for" He stated and caused Sinister to turn around to look at him. "I have been around for many long years, little boy might have heard of me" She waved him off once more. "Could be so but the stories that have been written about you leave out one little detail." He started to grow more cocky with his tone. "The long-lost son you had as a human" Hearing this made Sinister out-raged "And how do you know about that?" She spat with anger. He smirked as he took a step forward. "Because I believe I am that boy". He grinned and waited for her reaction. His hair was black as night and his skin tone was a shiny olive. He was tall, standing about 6'6 in height. Sinister laughed out "And I am human." She couldn't help but laugh some more at the thought of it gathering herself together. She began to say aloud "He died at just five years old and that was over 6000 years ago, little boy, there isn't any way of your speculations". Stefan grinned:" Immortal human. I was given this when I turned 18 years old from my God." He then reached to pull out a small torn and what seemed to be a very old picture and held it out for Sinister to take.
