Chapter 17

.Sinister woke up, her hands chained behind her back and her knees planted on the floor. Shaking the chain harshly, Sinister looked up at footsteps approaching her. "Nikita," Sinister whispered out in a painful tone. Nikita only smirked as she raised her right foot and delivered a harsh kick to the side of her face. Sinister growled out in pain as she spat blood on the floor and looked back at Nikita. "Don't, don't do this", Sinister pleaded. At that moment, Nikita took Sinister by her throat and slammed her hard against the wall. "Disgrace". She spat in Sinister's face and squeezed harder. Sinister struggled to break free as Nikita spoke again." Aww poor child, so beaten it seems you have lost that pretty little charm you had." she released her throat, causing Sinister to fall back to her knees. Nikita bent down to look at Sinister. Nikita then grabbed her face and roughly turned it to the left side of her. "Jess," Sinister whispered as she struggled again to break the chains once more. "Don't do this Nikita!" Sinister screamed. Nikita let go of Sinister's face and chuckled as she walked with grace to the dark and gloomy throne.

Sinister growled out as she shook her body to get free. Her eyes floated to Jess, seeing her sprawled out there covered in blood only angered Sinister more. Yelling once more, she looked at Nikita. "Do what you must to me, but let her go." Nikita tapped her long pointy nails on her throne as she spoke "I see you are changing on how I designed you?" She scoffed as she got up once more and walked to Sinister. "Let me remind you!" She yelled as she delivered another blow with her foot to Sinisters face. "The lessons? Have you forgotten to turn off your heart?" She snickered as she spoke. "My life has one great mission and that was to make the greatest warrior and look where that got me?" Sinister struggled to watch her as blood dripped from her face. "Are you following me, Sinister?" Nikita finished as she delivered another kick to Sinister's face. Sinister coughed and moved back to her knees, only to fall to her right side. Nikita smirked and leaned down over Sinister "You disappoint me". Her words rang in Sinister's ears harshly. Nikita stood and looked at the doorway as a male entered.

Dimitri, what's the latest news?" Nikita asked as her slimming finger went back to sit on her throne. " I have located the others from her party. They should be reaching the gates within the hour" he stated with a sly grin as he moved to stand by Nikita proudly. Nikita didn't say another word but looked at Sinister with hate and despair. Sinister moved with the last bit of her strength, and managed to get to her knees. Dimitri scoffed with a chuckle "And you kept that one alive?" Nikita gave nothing but a harsh look towards Dimitri. He nodded and left the room quickly. Nikita tapped her nails on her throne once more as she waited for the attack to take place. "Seems you are scared?" Sinister chuckled as she winced in pain. Nikita wasn't too happy that Sinister spoke nonsense. "Is that so? Says the one that is weakened and chained down?" She replied to Sinister with a grim look. Sinister scoffed in pain as she looked at Jess, then back to Nikita. "Please, stop all of this" Sinister begged for the last time. Nikita waved her off and grinned at her, begging. "Let her go?"

"I have been so gracious towards you, and it isn't very often I get pissed off, but damn you have crossed the line this time." Nikita pushed herself up from the throne." I am left without a choice, I have got to make you bleed. I need to see you fall." She took a step towards Sinister. "But before I do so, I have to make you learn one and final lesson." Nikita looked at Jess and then began to move towards her. Sinister yelled as she struggled to break the chains again to stop Nikita from going any further. Sinister flopped to her side as she continued to try and break free. Nikita took her foot and placed it harshly on Jess's throat and caused Jess to awaken in a panic struggle to get free. Nikita pressed her foot down harder only to stop at the sound of Dimitri covered in blood. "My queen, they have entered the castle with force". He was out of breath as he spoke. Nikita looked at Sinister. "I am your darkest moment, the monster that will always draw near you. If I kill these supposed friends of yours, maybe you will come back".

Sinister growled as she watched Nikita leave the room.

"Jess?" Called Sinister to her "Jess." She called again. "I ain't def, you know!" Jess replied as she moved to her knees. Sinister lightly smirked as she watched her. "How do you feel?" Jess scoffed "Oh you know, just like a peach". She rolled her eyes. Sinister looked down then back up at the entrance. Hearing the screams of war only hurt Sinister more. "f**k" She struggled once more before looking at the doorway again with a smirk. "She's in here!" James yelled as he rushed to Jess and held her face, placing a rough and loving kiss on her lips. The others flocked in after James. "Oh bunny boo I missed you too, now can you f*****g get us free?" Sinister grew pissed off even more. Jamed rolled his eyes as he just unlocked Jess's chains, setting her free. As James and Jess hugged, Sinister rolled her eyes as Toshi worked quickly on freeing her from her chains. Once Sinister was free she stretched her arms and stood slowly. "You guys need to get out of here," She stated as her eyes drifted to the door frame to see Nikita.

Nikita clapped her hands as the sight she took in was amusing to her. "All together at last", she finished. Sinister stood in front of the group taking her stance to protect them. "And yet you still choose them over me?" Nikita laughed out loud. "You are reckless and sentimental at best, Sinister, and that isn't a teaching of mine." Nikita took a step forward. "You have grown too soft. '' She finished as she tossed Sinister's blade to her feet. Sinister winced and picked up the blade. "Put your emotions to the side," Nikita stated, as she took another step. Sinister took her first step towards her. " You are a warrior, and you were meant to lead our kind. I don't know where I went wrong." Nikita's' words rang in her ear as she took her stance. "I warned you in the beginning what would happen if you didn't pass the test and yet you failed." Sinister shook her head and kept quiet. "And with that I am gone, and maybe now you will learn what your place is'” Nikita moved to strike at Sinister. Blocking Nikita's move she took a step back and spoke "It's just like you, why should I even be surprised anymore? Selfish and prideful and in vain," Sinister continued. "When someone dies I am left with the strain and I clean it up."

Sinister took a step to swing her blade at her. "I'll remind you that I saw you as a friend and most importantly a mother" Sinister moved her right foot to kick at her feet as she swung her blade again, only for Nikita to block once more. "We are done, this way you are out of my head, and you won't plague my life no more" Sinister scoffed as she spoke once more "This way you get what you wanted and get your damn goodbye" Sinister finished and dropped her blade in front of Nikita. Nikita spoke once more. "I mistook you for a general, what a waste of time that was." Nikita looked at Sinister as she finished her hurtful words. "At least I know what I am fighting for while you are fighting to be known! Since you claim to be so much wiser than the rest, why is your life spent all alone!" Sinister yelled at Nikita. "You're alone!" Sinister Yelled again. Nikita took a step back and growled "One day you will see what I am saying, and you might even understand," Nikita whispered as she waved her men into the room.
