CHAPTER 19

LUCAS'S POV-

i got all ready in my three piece tuxedo and went to Olivia's place to pick her up. i somehow wanted to see her very impatiently after the small yet decent step she made towards me in the evening. these small things are the only way to enter her life and i have to keep that in my mind. on my way to her house, i decided to buy a bouquet of roses for her. i don't know why but i wanted to call her and i did and really asked her the most idiotic question that if she is ready or not? off course she must be ready by then and soon we reached her house.

i pressed the bell and hoped that Olivia will open the door but it was her father who opened the door for me. he greeted me with so much respect and guided me towards his sitting area. i just sat on the sofa when i heard the noise of heels coming and there i knew Olivia is coming and oh my goodness! she was looking like a fairy is coming straight from the heaven. my eyes were stuck at this beautiful lady in front of me.  but there was another man who was also staring at her with all the love and admiration in his eyes for his daughter. i could see his eyes were moist a bit but he shrugged them of. i just wanted to embrace this beautiful girl and want her in my arms but refrained doing it. i am losing my control. we both were standing and she stood in between us facing us. her father gave a peck on her forehead and told me to take care of his daughter and i could feel from his eyes that he was warning me as well as trusting me with his beautiful girl.

i am a jackass for sure but when any girl is with me than i completely take responsibility of her safety. i am not raised to force myself on someone. i gave her roses which she accepted gladly and offered her my hand to leave for the party. i first made her sit in the backseat of the car making sure she does not spoil her dress and then went on to other side to sit beside her. on our way i tried my best to look away from her but failed terribly so i just kept staring at her shamelessly and i knew that she could feel my gaze on her. she tried to ignore me but then finally spoke with nervousness in her voice "stop staring" and instead of looking away my eyes landed upon her plump red luscious lips. i just wanted to kiss the hell out of her but i knew i needed to control myself but i could not resist myself from going near her and i spoke in her ear that i don't want to look away from her and she got irritated. 

we soon reached our venue and i thought Olivia will be nervous watching media and crowd but to the opposite she was looking all composed. as the car stopped i quickly went to her side and kept my hand on her waist and her back was bare and she shuddered at sudden skin to skin contact. imagining her bare back made my pants twitched. i don't know if i will be able to stay in my limits around her or not and told her the same surprisingly giving her a cheek kiss. the bodyguards standing outside helped us to get inside the hall saving us from the media and their questions. 

as soon as we entered inside, Olivia moved away from me and looked direct into my eyes all fierce and said "don't you dare come close to me again."

"feisty hnn........baby you are turning me on." i said and a blush crept on her face.

" trust me Lucas, i will chop your balls and feed them to the dogs."

i instantly held her by her waist and my other hand caressing her long beautiful hair and said "no baby you i would rather shove my balls in this feisty yet sexy mouth of yours."

she was about to say something but Sam came to the frame

"hello Lucas" and we both hugged each other like good friends. we have always been like this. professional inside the company and Good friends outside it.he then looked towards Olivia and i could also feel his gaze admiring her from top to bottom. infect Olivia captured the eyes of everyone inside the hall and some of them were looking like they will f**k Olivia right here right now.

"Hello Miss Olivia" he extended his hand in front of Olivia for a hand shake which Olivia gladly accepted but Sam took me off guard when he kissed the back of her hand. "you are looking beautiful." he said

"thank you Mr. Sam" she said to which he instantly said " just Sam please." and she just gave a sweet smile nodding her head n approval.

"enjoy the party, i will catch you guys later." he said and left us alone. i saw some of my business delegates coming towards us looking at Olivia but they shifted their gaze on me later.

"hello Mr. Donavan. it is so good to see you after long time." 

"hey Mr. Shergill. it's nice to see you." he was busy ogling Olivia and held her near to me and cleared my throat and said "this is Olivia, my new personal assistant and Olivia this is Mr. Shergill one of our business clients." i said looking towards both of them.

"excuse me Mr. shergill but we need to meet many people. so i hope you don't mind." and with that we left him alone.

"that man was so creep. i didn't liked the way he looked at me. thank god we left him or else i would have lashed upon him."

"slow down there fireball, i didn't knew you have such anger issues but i will not let anyone harm you so just be calm and stay by my side and i cannot say it is his fault, you are looking so beautiful and sexy that i can see envy in the eyes of every girl present here for you."

from out of nowhere a girl suddenly turned me around and hugged me "you are looking so handsome Lucas. you did not even called me after the night spent together. i am very upset from you."

i looked at her face to see who she is and remembered her that she is daughter of one of my clients whom i slept with. "oh hello Andrea. you are looking gorgeous." and indeed she is really hot and sexy but not more than Olivia. she was staring at Olivia and asked "who is this girl Lucas, your new casual f**k?"

"watch your mouth Andrea. she is Olivia, my personal assistant and Olivia she is Andrea Smith, my good friend."

" Only friend Lucas! I am sorry Olivia but he always tries to hide his status but he will become my fiance soon and i am sorry i called you his f**k but what can i do he is so handsome that all the girls want to f**k him and you are no exception too." i was shocked by her statement. it was like venom was dripping from her mouth.

" i understand your point of view Ms. Smith and then you must also have fallen for his looks only but i watch out for much more in a man than just his looks. so i will advice you to rather look for inner soul of every person around you than just jumping on the conclusions and yeah congratulations." she said to Andrea making her angry yet Speechless. she stomped her foot and left us but not before kissing my cheeks.

"thank god Olivia! she is such a clinging b***h and delusional who wants to marry me from the day she had seen me. i am sick of explaining her that i will never marry her but look here she is, living in her own vanilla world."

"that's okay Lucas, i don't know about your equation with her but she hurt my self respect and i will not let anyone hurt it no matter who he or she is. and you are typical playboy. aren't you?"

"well what can i say? you know it already but i am a man with needs Olivia." 

Sam started his speech and asked everyone to join the stage as music was about to start.

"a very beautiful and angelic girl is present here in this hall and i will be ownered to have this first dance with her. Miss olivia would you like to have first dance with me?" and everyone was looking at Olivia including me.

she nodded her head in approval and sam walked towards her and offered her hand. she walked with him and music started.

sam kept his one hand on her waist and held her hand with his other hand. this music was soft and they seemed to enjoy the music. Sam was speaking something in her ear and she was giving him beautiful smiles from time to time.

an old couple was standing beside me and the lady spoke "they are looking so adorable, it feels like Jesus chose them as a special pair and i was feeling jealous of them but i kept calm. i don't want anyone else to claim Olivia before me. Soon the music ended and Sam asked everyone to join them. Andrea held my hand and i did not refused. everyone was dancing and Olivia did not even gave me a single glance while i was consistently looking at her like a fool.

"are you and that b***h dating?" i ignored her and kept dancing but she asked me again "tell me you fucker, is this heartless man in love with that stupid ugly b***h?"

"Shutup Andrea, stop acting like a Jealous girlfriend. we were just f**k buddies nothing more than that so stop your acting. and trust me if you kept on saying to everyone that i will marry you then i will sue you. just mark my words and you know me very well that what can i do." i told her little aggressively.

i again tried to look at Olivia but i could not find her anywhere. i am looking for her everyone while dancing and after around 15 minutes. she came into the view and stood on one side in the hall. i thought of asking her for dance but again Sam beat me to it and pulled her. i could feel that she was in no mood to dance but was dancing just because of decency. she looked like a lost puppy.

i left Andrea to which she started her nonsense blabbering and went to Sam. 

"if you don't mind then can i steal back my personal assistant and have this dance with her?"

"oh sure buddy" we smiled and Sam went to dance with other women present in the party.

Olivia looked a little bothered and continuously looked at the ground. 

i spoke"you know what i am much more handsome than this ground you are looking at." but she still was not looking at me.

"i will not kiss you Olivia, just look at me." but still she did not looked at me then i held her chin and made her look at me. it was clear from her face that something is bothering her. i cupped her face from one hand and held her protectively from her waist with other hand and asked "hey, what is bothering you? tell me Olivia."

but i was shocked with her next move. she hugged me really tight like her life depends upon me. i hugged her back and we remained like that. i caressed her hair and her back to let her calm down.

i spoke in her ear "tell me Olivia what happened?"

she replied still hugging me "i.....i..." before she could say something, a man i don't know shouted at the top of his lungs "where is that b***h?"

and Olivia clutched my blazer tight at the sound of the man.

"that man tried to sexually assault me." she said still hugging me.
