A Lie So Beautiful

Author P.O.V Legends has it that every person have a different heartbeat , each unique and with its own value , yet love can make a difference. That is, when a person fell in love his or her heartbeat change to match his lover and when two person fell in love, a new beat is form which is beleive to be the magic of love .This was known as the 'theory of soulmate' . Long time back people know and believe in this theory celebrating it with joy and look at it as a sign of two soul uniting to one , it serve the purpose of a pure true love marraige , it was a sign that signifies true love as it is said that our heart never lie. But as time goes by people started to ignore it as relationship without love seems to bring much more gain to human and they did not need a thing to prove what they call real love wrong. But even if there were many who chose to ignore love there were some who believe in real love so they continue to believe and rejoice the 'soulmate theory' . But with times such people become less and less. Thus leaving only a handful of people who actually knows the theory in our modern world. In such times where love never seem to be the priority of human's busy life, it seems a live is being torn and shattered by this true love. Here in a remote area, far from humanity. We can see a guy getting off from a car and we can also see an older guy who is covered in a mask standing on the edge of a cliff. Older guy (emotionless): So what have you decide? The guy (blankly) : I'll take your offer but i have some conditions. Older guy ( chuckling softly) : I dont think you are in any position to bargain, but sure go ahead. The guy(sternly): I want proof that She will be completely cured. Older guy (scoffing): Proof ! You want proof? Do you really think you are in a position to test my loyalty? Iam your last and only card to beleive in. You don't have other choice, its either you believe in me or you let your lover girl die with you doing nothing. And about my loyalty its a risk you have to take. The guy (staring hardly): You should also know that if I lose her because of you I dont have any other things I cared for in this world and your dead might just become the will of my life. Older guy(seriously) : Of course I know but dont worry, I promise Ill keep my word . ( chuckling) And even if with all my being I wanna betray you and her , Iam too selfish to do that. The guy(emotionless): Hope you keep your word. Then, what do I do? Older guy(throwing a file): Thats the information about the girl I showed you few days back and there is a picture in there take a look. Taking out the picture and after a look at it look up at the mask guy blankly. Older guy : In the picture you can see the necklace she is wearing right? And the guy just nod Older guy( staring straight in his eye) : I want you to take that necklace for me. The guy( confused) : What does the necklace have anything to do with Her? Older guy (calm) : Well if you must know it can save her life. The guy ( with doubts) : How? Older guy: Her necklace is the medicine , (pointing at the picture) that dew drop like thing is not a pearl its drops of medicine. The guy (releived) : Okay! So all i have to do is take away that necklace. Older guy : Yes! But its not that simple, you cant take away that necklace just like that. The guy( confused) : Then? I can just take it by force if she is not willing to give it away. Older guy( sarcastically) : Yup its that simple cause Iam way too old to do that myself right? The guy(blankly) : Stop your sarcasm and just tell me and yes you are too old for that. Old guy( scoffing) : You are just jealous of my body , anyway you have to make her fall in love with you. The guy ( surprised) : Fall in love with me? What does that have anything to do with the necklace. Older guy(calmly) : It has a lot to do with the necklace . Have you heard of a thing called the 'soulmate theory'? The guy( confused) : Soulmate? Soulmate what? Older guy: Okay by your reaction I can see that you don't know. Well there is a theory know as ' a soulmate theory' which say if someone fell in love there heart beat will change to match their lover or if two people fell in love a new heartbeat is form. And this theory is the key to taking that necklace . The guy( highly confuse) : A key? The old guy: You see that necklace is design in such a way that only the person who have the same heartbeat as her can take out that necklace. The guy( baffled) : Are you seriously asking me to believe this? The old guy: No! You have to. Cause like I have said before Iam your only chance. The guy: Okay let's say I believe this ridiculous theory of yours, does that mean that the necklace won't come off except when taken out by her lover? Older guy: No it will come off , its just the medicine won't be effective. The guy(doubting ) : Really? Older guy: Believe it or not, thats what you need to do if you want your lover girl to be save, and Im not that free that I will convince you that the theory is true or not. So its your call , deal or not? The guy( chuckling softly) : I can't believe Iam believing this! But I have to anyway, so let's do it but how can you know that that's a medicine and it will cure her if it has never come of before. Older guy( coldly) : That's not for you to know, you just need to take that necklace. The guy: Okay I'll trust you, even if its unbelievable. You better be telling the truth, for the betterment of all of us . But Iam curious of one thing from the beginning with all this, what's in it for you? Older guy(smiling bitterly) : A life. Anyway, you can start anytime you want or with anyway you desire, but a piece of advice She dont have that much time with her anymore , if I were you I'll hurry up.( walking away) The guy: Wait how to I contact you? I don't know anything about you given that you meet me with your face covered. Older guy: Don't worry about that , you don't need to know who am I , you just know when the necklace is in your hand then we will meet again. With that we can see the older guy walking away The guy (with guild in his eyes): Dont you think its too unfair for this girl( pointing at the picture). As far as I know she is not on the bad side at all. Older guy (stopping on his track and with an emotional voice) : She doesn't even go near bad and its more then unfair for her and we both know that very well . But like you , I also wanna be selfish and I'll hurt her if I must to reach my goal. Remember; only true love can change a heart beat so make sure she truely fall in love with you . That's the only way you can save Her With that he walk to his car and drive away. The Guy's Point Of View. I look at the picture in my hand and look at the retreating figure of a car which carries the man who I know nothing about but have to trust for my life. I wanna curse him out for putting me in such a situation; but then, Iam also no different from him. For my selfish reasons I am going to ruin an innocent soul. I look at the girl's picture who I was suppose to make fall in love with me and I remember the first time i saw her and pretty much stalk her for some weeks now, to know more things about her. And I found out that she is a great person, with a stunning personality. She don't seem to enjoy luxurious things even though she can if she want to, she seem to live a pretty simple life. Even though, I don't know much about her. At one look I can see the aura of her kindness and innocence surrounding her like a sheild. And even if I don't know her at all, the one thing Iam sure about is, she is nowhere near what I hope she will be. Cause here, I was praying and wishing with all my heart for her to be evil so that it would make me less guilty, I wish for her to be a criminal so that i can forget my conscience. I wish she was a b***h so that I can feel a bit better about myself being a bastard. But life, it has its own plan. I feel hopeless, to save the love of my life Iam gonna destroy someone else's. Cause if what the oldie say was right, for me to success I know I have to let her truely love me to the point the rhythm of her heartbeat will beat according to mine. I know what it feels like to be left behind by your love , Iam living that experience , it is too painful, it suck the soul out of you but at least for me I know She loves me and its a pain worth to bear but for this girl all she will get is pain with nothing to gain other than lies , how unfair. The hurtness we feel when betrayed is something no one should ever expereince, let alone a sweet girl like her. But I know me, and the me I know will go to any length to save my love's life and if what that take is breaking someone's heart; then so be it. If destroying someone's love is to have mine; then so be it. But to this girl in the picture I really hope someday you will have the heart to at least hear my sorries and maybe in the far future forgive my selfishness and only then, will I have the courage to be in love happily. I really want to tell her that Iam so so sorry that even when I know I'm so wrong , even when I know I shouldn't do it and even when I know I'll be sorry Iam already taking a step to hurt her. And if she couldn't forgive me later on then I hope all her anger, sadness , pain and love will fall on me letting her go free. I hope the only thing she remember of me is that Iam sorry and I'll be forever grateful to her for saving my heart. With a heavy sigh, I get up and go to see my love. And soon, I reach my destiny cause I can see a big sign with A.C hospital written in a huge block letter. With a sigh I go to the room in the hospital which I seems to visit more then my home As soon as I enter I can see my love sleeping at that hard bed , looking as pale as ever, yet looking so beautiful and peaceful. With her hair scattered here and there and with her full pouty red lips with the pale conplextion, people might think she is just taking a nap and nothing more but I know better I sit down besides her chair and grasp her cold hand softly. If she saw me now she would have freak out, cause I know I look like s**t right now. I probably look distraughted and deafeated. You can see the dark circle under my eyes, with dried tear mark and sadness filling me whole , I literly look like s**t. I bet I look worst then s**t cause believe me I feel a lot worse. With a defeated gaze I keep on looking at her murmuring to myself. The guy (carresing the girl hand softly and with a soft voice) : What should I do now? I know this is wrong , very wrong but I think I wanna do a wrong thing again. (Scoffing to himself) I dont know whether I'll be able to face you again after doing this. ( desparately) Can you please wake up and talk me out of this. You know I do everything you say right? (Chuckling softly) What am I saying , how selfish of me to think you won't wake up if you could. Sorry love, I know you are doing your best so take your time okay? And just like that a tear drop down and another and another and another until it finally become a full sobbing. That day I cry because of the hopelessness I feel as I could do nothing to help my love as She lay in the bed motionless , I cried because of the helplessness I feel as I know I'm gonna ruin someone happiness yet I'm doing it willingly and I cried more as I feel like I'm loses with no hope whatsoever. But I know I can't just keep on crying cause I know She don't have much time left. So with another heavy sigh, I get up from my seat; kiss Her forhead gently and after tugging her in properly I left thinking of what I got to do first, cause I know that oldie words are really my only choice. I remember the first time I met him , it was during Her worst time , She was in a coma with no diagnosis from any doctor. I get the best doctors from all around the world but no one know what was wrong with Her. And in such a hopeless state a mysterical man who was unwilling to show his face shows up and heal her like some magic show. We all saw the improvement going in a lightning speed but sadly he can't cure her completely. Still then, I was more than grateful cause at least he know what was wrong with her and was working on it giving me a new hope that maybe she will wake up someday, someday soon. But he was no gaurdian fairy , he don't just give away everything . I have to work for what I want , and what I want is my love to be fine , healthy and up with me. And if that necklace is the way , even if I have to kill to get that I will. With that in mind I leave the hospital.
