POV 4: SKY

I felt the sun come through that tiny window attached to my cell. I can't believe I made it through the entire night without basically any sleep!

I stirred around. My back was killing me.

"Morning guys"

The boys both groaned in response, I really felt the cold as I began to shift my body around and stretch, I was stiff..

"Did either of you even get any sleep in the end?"

I must have got at least three hours if I hadn't woke up to to the that pigeon earlier... And that didn't even help the fact our beds were literally made of stone.

"I tried but he was snoring again" Max kicked Jason's leg, but he didn't seem that bothered "I'm just seriously exhausted"

"Me too!" Jason yawned aloud. I honestly felt like the world's heaviest sloth that fell out of it's tree seven times!

"Hey, can either of you see the time from there?" I asked. I was hoping we were past nine o'clock at least.

Jason leaned over to see the tall clock tower outside. "It's eight twenty nine"

Eight twenty nine!?

"Wow" I laughed, trying to make a light-hearted joke "We have managed to wake up in the ACTUAL morning this time! Congrats guys!"

We all cheered meekly and giggled amongst ourselves, don't get me wrong I could still sense the damp atmosphere from last night's s**t storm, but we had to have a laugh about the little things to help it pass over.

"So when are your parents coming?" Max croaked out, His hair looked so funny without his hair gel I almost laughed.

I pulled out my phone and checked back on my last call to them, "Ten hours ago... They should be here around nine they said"

"Thank goodness, so soon hopefully"!

Jason stood up and started to dust himself off, he still had mud covering his legs all the way down.

"I can't believe you managed to sneak a phone in!" he laughed, clearly amused by my skills. I only had to tap my boob for him to understand.

"Every womans best friend is a good bra with a side pocket, works every time" Poor kid just blushed. His innocence really was the adorable part about a man.

Although I couldn't lie I really wasn't pleased that I had to call my parents, but I knew my dad being the Alpha, he would've been able to reason with the pack somehow. Plus after my supposed mate incident I really wanted to just get out of here, no matter what the consequences were.

"I still hope we can get to Cornwall at some point though" I stated bluntly, I really wanted to go now, more than ever.

"I think after today we are all in need of a good escape still"

"Let's just go home for now and then we can arrange a day once we have transport again" I looked up and could see Jason was still feeling s**t about his car. Poor guy. I kind of felt bad.

"Well look" I began to dust myself off too "I can always ask my dad to hire us out a car for now, that way we only need to be dropped down to the dealership, and we'll take it from there. We can still go once we've been released"

Max's face lit up "You serious?... They'll drop us there today?"

I gave them a shrug "I don't see why not"

"Yes"!

The fact Jason was up and pumped made me feel much better about the situation we was in.

"Let's do it"!

That's the spirit.

From this day on we were about to let go of this mess and enjoy our next adventure.

That's when the door suddenly opened from upstairs.

CREAK*

A bright light portrayed a pathway from the the top of the stairs downwards. I instantly felt my heart drop into the pit of my stomach.

Oh for f**k sake not this s**t again..

As predicted my mate was walking down the stairs with her eyes looking completely lifeless and tired. I could only guess she didn't sleep at all last night?

"I've been given orders that you are free to go" She grumbled. I could tell by her face she was not happy with the order at all.

"Your parents are waiting for you upstairs"

My parents?

"Do you mean the Alpha and Luna? My parents"? I squeaked innocently whilst batting my eye lashes, I was definitely trying to provoke her. And It was definitely working too.

"Yes..." she seethed clenching her teeth. Just the fact she was containing herself was enough for me to start pushing for more.

"Why thankyou that's very kind of you" I said sweetly as she unlocked my cage. I was feeling rather smug the fact she was pissed off, it almost made me like her.

"And maybe now you understand why I shouldn't have been down here right? Not the place for an Alpha"

I had a skip in my step as I grabbed my shoe and made my way up the stairs towards the door to freedom. I could feel daggers in my back as I approached the top.

"Come on guys let's go! I think she's learned her lesson now" I was milking this for everything its got!

Their footsteps charged up behind me.

We were finally free!

Before I could even try enjoy our freedom I had found my mother....

"My daughter!" My mother yelped as she ran towards me with her arms wide open "Are you alright? are you hurt!? Sick!?"

She grabbed me and pulled me in, her perfume burning my eye lashes off, I was stunned...

She's hugging me, she never hugs me. Why was she hugging me!?

"No I'm fine, I'm fine" I replied, easing her off gently with my hands. I finally got a chance to gaze around at all the unfamiliar faces decorating this hall. I could see my father talking to who I can only assume was the Alpha?

"I'm glad! I'm so glad!" She cried out loud "You have no idea how worried we were!"

Huh.

It was good to see I was missed I guess...

"Sky, come here, I'd like a word" My dad ordered. I walked over, feeling happy that one of my parents was acting normal at least...

The world stood still.

"Do you want to tell me what you were doing smoking?" my father growled viciously showing me the reports... Yeah, I should mention he's very against smoking, so I already knew he was on a different kind of level of pissed off.

"Do you have any idea the seriousness of all of this"!? He was shaking quite violently just holding the paperwork

"You set fire to somebodies home Sky, and almost to yourselves! Have you no shame!? You could have killed someone"

I felt myself slump, embarrassed that I had to do this with an audience. I had no choice but to just stand there and feel the judgement get passed down on me.

"I think it's only right you apologise for the damage you have caused" He snapped once again "I am appalled that you would even act without thinking first! I taught you better than that"

I caught a glimpse of the paperwork, detailing yesterday's causes and results. My apparent mate kept herself busy I see...

The Luna and Alpha were gazing over at me, and all could do was sink were I stood.

"I am sorry, I take full responsibility for yesterday's fire" I muttered softly... I hated doing these types apologies. It's still just an accident..

Suddenly my mate reappeared from the dungeon. Emerald woke up.

"MATE-"

Shit.

"SHUT UP! I quickly silenced my wolf and continued my speech fast!

"And I promise I meant no harm and intention to what had happened in regards to fire and field.... With the car and fire... Cigarette butt..."

I was distracted and I couldn't talk properly, My brain had stopped functioning!

"So I'm sorry truelly.... Truelly sorry!!"

Dammit!

So close.

The room met my apology with a deafening silence. I have just made a complete ass of myself in front of my Parents. And in front of the Alpha and Luna...

Goddess help me please..

"I.. Suppose that's an apology.... I think?...

My dad looked over at the Luna and Alpha, who both nodded in approval. "Thankyou" the Alpha said graciously "We appreciate and accept your apology"

The Luna on the other hand, couldn't stop looking at me. Her eyes glued themselves to mine as if searching for something

... Almost as if she sensed something... Something I didn't want her to see...

I felt awkward.

My over thinking was now taking over. I needed to get out this moment ASAP!

"Please allow me to cover any costs that can help repair the damages" My dad was scribbling on his cheque book, the one he never loses.

"And a bit extra for the inconvenience. How much is required to replace that plot of land?"

The Luna was still looking at me, her eyes were glowing straight into mine.

"Is there anyway of replacing the seeds aswell? I can always invest in a greenhouse if your residents happy with this too"?

Suddenly as if a switch went off she smiled and released her gaze.

My mind was finally free again and my hands were no longer shaking.

"Actually Alpha Zeke" The Luna replied, she raised her eyes to take another quick glance at me before continuing.

"Perhaps we don't need to accept any payment after all"

The whole room stopped. Everyone had the same shocked expression. Everyone was now staring at the Luna.

Especially my mate. She looked furious it was very funny... But seriously. What did she just say?

"After all, this is our anniversary ball And we would hate to let anything dampen this special occasion"

Her eyes met mine before returning to my dad "Perhaps you would like to join us as our guests? Even take a night in our guest suite, And we can discuss further options tomorrow if you still insist on repaying. How does that sound?"

My dad looked absolutely stunned by this offer. I could see my mum and him both linking each other right now... Something was really abnormal about this.

"Why Luna Saffron... I really don't know what to say"

"Please say no please say no please say no"! I prayed silently...

A big smile formed across his face... And I knew I had lost my wish.

"We'd be delighted to join you on your celebration! Thankyou" My dad excitedly bowed over and over again. It was weird seeing him courtesy so much...

Him and my mum were over the moon. "Thankyou! Thankyou for your kindness! We'll be back shortly with some supplies"

"There's no need" Luna Saffron replied "We can have everything you need if you wished to settle in"

OH GODDESS WHY ENCOURAGE THEM!?

"Of course! of course! thankyou, thankyou again!" Any more thankyous and my dad would start crying. "Guys! do you hear that!? we've all been invited!"

"As for you three" the Luna directed at us "Please feel free to choose any room down the guest corridor"

I looked at my mate, she was busy pulsating anger through her veins to be happy right now.

"Thankyou Luna Saffron" I bowed, the other two bowed with me "Yes thankyou Luna"

I didn't want to stay here, but seeing just how much this pissed her off was filling me with great joy. She deserved to feel this. Every last bit!

"I can't wait to get to know the pack" I smiled sweetly over at Red, who just answered back with a vicious glare. "That's right" I thought "Who's laughing now b***h?"

The Luna was talking among some omegas. "Make sure to have all the essentials they need for their stay. Whatever they request" The omegas bowed and made their way past us. "And Red, please show our guests to the living quarters"

OOOOOOOOH YES!

I turned around, her face fell like a tonne of bricks!

Oh goddess thankyou.

This was just too good to be true! My heart was racing with pure joy! this is honestly the best I've felt in hours!

"Yes..." She replied slowly, trying so hard to contain herself.

She came over and approached all five of us grudgingly. "Please follow me..."

"Oh this is beautiful!" I linked the guys, we all exchanged the same look. We were now back living the high life again!

"What kind of things should we ask for?" We had disappeared through a large door and up a long stairway, the decoration and size was incredible! "We can say we need four bottles of champagne from Italy!"

"I require a Ralph Lauren tuxedo with a crisp shirt AND a box of the finest chocolate truffles in town"

Not bad not bad.

"I demand four of the most beautiful girls to meet me in my room at seven tonight, with or without clothes is their choice!"

"We also require a the hottest stud for our lovely friend for making all this possible for us!"

"And I require the two of you to spend another night in the dungeon while I feast on a pepperoni pizza on a large double bed!"

Jason poked my side making me jump, we tried so hard to stay quiet,

but before we knew it we had already reached the top of the stairs.

"Just through this door" She muttered again.

She took us down a long corridor painted with the most amazing shade of red and gold paint. Wow...

"I must say, this Palace has excellent standards with interior!"

My mum has always been a materialistic person, so seeing this was just the beginning of something for much later I'm afraid.

"The Luna prides herself with her Ancestors original designs" Red explained as she walked "Everything is still exactly how it was many years ago"

"And the Art work?"

We'd stopped to a set of three doors on the right. "The art work is the Luna's personal creation"

"You're joking! Really"!? It was gorgeous!

I was stunned, she did all of this!? They were literally all realistic portraits aswell!

"It's incredible" My mum murmered. She was literally within her element right now.

"And what about James, what does he do?" My dad laughed "Or is he a keep the wife happy kind of man as well?"

Mum slapped his arm hard.

"The Alpha takes pride in his car collection. He generally leaves the Luna to the palace"

She finally opened the first door to a large bedroom. "These rooms are all the same. Please pick and choose which one you'd prefer"

I peeked in and saw a large double bed surrounded by some amazing furniture! "I think this one's mine" I linked the boys instantly, no way we're they picking first.

"They're all the same room you idiot..."

"And this one" She took us to the end and opened a large set of double doors. "Is your guest suite"

The doors opened up into an enormous king sized room!

"The only difference with this room, it's the only room with a built in jacuzzi and bar"

Please be still my beating heart....

"Thankyou" My dad beamed, my mum was practically inside running around all the furniture already. "We do hope to get more acquainted during the party Red, thankyou again"

She looked completely expressionless, just like her Luna... I wonder if they're related?

"Thankyou Alpha Zeke" She turned her heel and began to walk away. "Our omegas will be up shortly to provide whatever luggage you may need for your stay"

"Thankyou Red"

My mum and dad bowed and quickly shut their door. They were out of sight. Out of mind.

Which means...

"Oh Commander?" I cooed, trying to sound as innocent as possible, the two boys started giggling bad.

She froze in her steps, her shoulders tensed up. "What?"

Show time.

"I was just wondering if I could possibly have some assistance with my shopping list now please?"

I knew exactly how the guest system worked in every pack... She had no choice but to listen...

"The Omegas have been issued that job"

"Yes but I'm asking you"

I chuckled as she turned around and met me with that exact same glare from downstairs. Boy was she angry!

"And what do you need..." She gritted through her teeth. I was about to enjoy this....

"Please have a bottle of champagne sent up with some of your most finest glasses!"

I deliberately put on the most fake posh accent I could, causing the guys c***k up with laughter "And I'm also a size eight in both jeans, blouse and underwear. Be sure to pick out something nice, nothing cheap and tacky... Oh and a dress!"

I slowly walked closer, smirking straight into her stupid face. "I can't show up tonight looking like a commoner in a dungeon now can I?"

That was it. I could sense her aura shooting out as she was trying to contain her rage... It was getting my wolf very excited....

"I will see what I can do..."

She stared at the boys, who both instantly submitted under her glare "And you two?"

They both shook their heads. "No thankyou" Jason said. They would have to wait for the omegas.

"Good" She quickly walked off and vanished through the door. I didn't realise how easy it was to wind her up!

"You absolute psycho!!! Jason grabbed me by the waist and the three of us collapsed in my room laughing like idiots! "I can't believe you just did that!"

I have never felt so alive!!!! How did I just get away with that!?

"I couldn't resist!" I laughed, we all collapsed on my bed and embraced it's comfyness. This felt so good.

"You should have requested a lap dance the way you were looking at her!" Jason teased, I sent his shoulder into a spasm with a swift punch.

"And what would you know about lap dances you virgin?"

That was it, we just broke out into a massive play fight. I couldn't believe only minutes ago we were still prisoners. And now we were guests! just like that! GUESTS!

This was going to be a blast!
