My wrist watch beeped, signifying that the twenty-five minutes I had given them was over. I had no idea I had been staring at her the entire time until my wristwatch beeped. I hope no one had noticed that.
“Alright kids, your time is up.” I cleared my throat and started to say. “I hope you all wrote your name on top of the paper.”
“You said it wasn’t going to be recorded or graded, so why do we have to put our names down?” Candy asked.
