The Love Journey Begins

At that point, even if Justin did not believe that Claudia still needed to keep their communication going, he did not continue hesitating to pick up the call, he humbly calmed himself, took a deep breath, picked the call up, and pay close attention of what Claudia was about to say having experienced the embarrassment earlier in the day.

"Y'ello Justin, she said, good evening, how are you doing this evening?"

"Hello Claudia, am doing well, hope you are doing well as well?, he said in a low voice, sending a sorrowful message across to her just in the way he had responded, lacking energy and happiness inside of him."

Well am sorry for what happened earlier today, please forgive me, I did not mean to behave that way, kindly pardon me for that act, Claudia said in more calm and humble manner, trying to make Justin back to his feet once again. She did that because she knew that he had been disturbed over what had happened. by so doing, Claudia managed to reunite, reconnect with Justin, and stared having conversations just like they used to all the while.

"It's okay Claudia, but surely, what had happened earlier did not make me happy, I really got ashamed of myself having sadi what I said to you, if I offended you, I'm sorry too" Justin Said quite firmly and without hesitation.

No there's no need of you apologising to me Justin, Claudia said, I guess you only said what your heart desired to disclose in a long time?

Well I guess so, but I'm sorry I have to remind you of what I had said earlier in the day and it's nothing but the truth, Claudia, I have been having feelings for you for a long time now, please I need you to be of understanding and know that I really love you, and I appreciate the kind of a person you are.

"Thank You Justin" Claudia said quite firmly and said, well I have heard what you have said Justin, you are a nice person too,I appreciate your help and generosity too.

Over what you have said, what then do you think of me?

"Well I would like us build an affair, I mean a romantic relationship if you don't mind?" At that point, there was silence on the other far end of the communication wire, but even if this happened, Justin remained courageous enough to face anything that was to be the turn out in that very situation.

"hey Justin, sorry I will have to talk to you some other time, I have chores waiting for me in the sink"she said as she prepared to end the conversation by hanging up the call.

"Hey please wait, I know you have to end the conversation, but please put my statement in consideration when you get to have time to think about this." Justin said.

"alright Justin, I will think about it, and I will give you the feedback as soon as i get to resolve everything, wouldn't you mind giving me some time?" Claudia said.

Well that's alright then Claudia, I'll wait for your feedback, he said calmly ending the conversation on the phone.

Days went by as they kept communicating with each other.

Justin and Claudia did not step back in their friendship.

On a day when Justin and Claudia were at school studying, a thought flashed back on his mind over the proposal he had made to her, therefore he had a thought on his mind wether to ask her or not. but he kept debating to himself because he was afraid to ask.

"Oh my God, what should I do now? maybe I just remain quiet, or I pull myself up and ask her firmly?" he thought, well then let me just straighten myself and face her.

"Hey Claudia, I have something to ask."

please go ahead Justin, am all ears, she said quite firmly with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, he said, I have been waiting for your feedback on the earlier discussion we had, please i would really love to have the response over the proposal i had made to you Claudia, please do not be offended with my request, he said"

Oh well Justin, I am fine with that, I will respond to you some other time, please be patient with me, Claudia said calmly.

Well then that's alright if you say so, then I will keep waiting for you.

They continued to study together. but Justin did not concentrate on what they were doing because all he had on his mind was how the response from Claudia would be.

It was on a Sunday afternoon, when Claudia decided to call Justin and give him the response which he had been waiting for in a long time.

"hey, how are you doing Justin?" she said.

"Hello, Am doing well Claudia, how have you been as well dear?" Justin said happily."

"Am fine too Justin, I thought of having a discussion with you today if you don't mind?" Claudia said.

Well we can talk there is no problem, am not very busy now.

"Well Alright I want to answer you on your proposal..?" she said.

"Yes please, am eager to hear from you Claudia, please go ahead am ready to hear anything from you" Justin Said courageously, waiting for the next word from Claudia.

"Am happy to tell you that, I have accepted your proposal, and I will try to be the very best version of myself to you Justin, am hoping to get the very best from you." Claudia responded calmly, and happily.

After that statement, there was a moment of silence, Justin did not say anything, because he was astonished by what he heard from Claudia, the lady he had longed for in a long time.

Claudia did not say anything too, after making that statement, she ended the conversation.

"Oh well, so this now a reality, finally Claudia has accepted my proposal, oh no maybe am dreaming, My God is this true?" He kept asking himself these questions, imagining everything.

Justin decided to Text Claudia after a couple of mins after he finished thinking about what he heard from Claudia.

"Hey Claudia, Thank you so much for your understanding, I have really longed for a moment like this in my life, I love you just for who you are, I promise to be the very best partner to you, I will stand by you in everything that will come our way." Justin said happily.

"Justin, you are welcome, I have been longing to have you too, I too will try to help you and build this affair, together we will make it, and I pray that God puts his hand upon us as we sail on this life's journey. I love you Justin." Claudia replied in a loving manner.

Justin and Claudia became best of lovers ever, they built a relationship that was admired by almost every one around them. They were very respective in the way they carried themselves and how they related to their school mates, friends and family members at large.

For the first time in Justin's life, thid moment of life seemed to be a dream to him because he had never experienced such feelings and happiness in all his entire life time. Justin and Claudia sailed through life together, despite the fact that they were facing a lot of problems and challenges, they always stood by each other's side, and they always strengthened and helped each other in everything they did from the time they first met at school, till they finally graduated from school and decided to continue having their affair all the way till marriage.
