A moment of silence covered their conversation just after Justin asked of how possible it would be to be really good friends with Claudia.

Eventually she opened up to him and said,

"Well oh yeah that sounds great Justin she said, I would really love to be friends with you.

Well I surely have no problem with that,she said. Justin and Claudia become good of friends from there on and they always stood up for each other, helped each other, worked hard together academically making them emerge gradually in school work performances.

"I'll look up on you for help, you're really indeed a good person, I can see that in the way you approached me and how calm you are when talking to someone.

I will try to be the best version of myself to you Justin,"she said.

Time went on, as they kept helping each other academically and other angles of life inclusive.

It was after a couple of weeks later when a thought flashed on Justin's mind that he would now open up to her and present himself to her on how he really felt for her and how he has found it worthy to disclose how he felt deep down his heart.

But hey wait a minute he said to himself, what if she gives me a negative response? it will and might destroy our already built cooperation in terms of friendship he thought, but his conscious kept telling him that he would just tell her the truth about how he really felt for her.

It was at that moment that Justin's state of mind changed from that of cowardice and became brave enough to confront his fears and face the realities of life and how everything is supposed to be handled and delt with..

Well Claudia, sorry but I have something serious to tell you, and I have been longing for such a great time like this to disclose this to you,

"I'm sorry Claudia, but I have feelings for you, I mean I have loved you so much for so long now, but I have always been looking for a perfect moment to say this to you, and I guess this is the best time for me to tell you."

At that moment, there was deep silence, no response from Claudia, a sudden change of expression was observed as she firmly stood up without saying anything, and excused herself from the studying table. Well Justin, I'll see you some other time if you don't mind? she said.

Oh well that's alright Claudia, in that case I'll have to see you some other time.

Justin did not believe what he encountered,but he remained focused and strengthened himself that such had only happened because that's how ladies tend to act sometimes.

He too left the studying table, heading back home, with a lot of thoughts occupying his mind over what had happened earlier in the day, he thought to himself " What if I lose my friendship with her? what if she turns away from me? what if she stops caring at all?" all these thoughts were on his mind as he kept moving on the way home.

He didn't even expect to receive any call or text from Claudia, because he thought what had happened earlier made a demarcation on how they had been communicating and talking to each other frequently and more often.

He reached home, rushed to the bathroom and took a shower, then went to his room, sat on his bed, started thinking of what had happened earlier in the day, but something which wasn't expected to happen took place whilst he was in the middle of rewinding how he had approached Claudia, and how they both managed to carry out the conversation with each other smoothly. But what he did not expect was claudia walking away from him,this pained him a lot deeply because the way he had started the conversation with her blew up some courage in his mind.

While in the midst of all the thinking, his phone rang, it was her calling. hey wait what, she's calling oh God is this true? Justin failed to believe that Claudia was thinking about him and that she still had thoughts of calling him despite having embarrassed him the way she did earlier in the day.

"Hey Justin, I thought of calling you to apologize on what happened earlier in the day,sorry I did not mean to embarrass you like that, kindly pardon me for that," Claudia said.

Well that is not a problem dear, he said, so how has been your day today? hope you have studied and helped mom with some chores?, he said, trying to c***k a joke with her.

Well yeah sure, but hey wait, I had a challenge understanding today's lesson in mathematics, please i will need your help Justin, Claudia said calmly.

Oh okay, no problem with that, we will surely discuss the lesson together tomorrow then during prep time if you don't mind?, oh okay then I am looking forward for tomorrow's prep time.

Justin thank you for your time, I will have to do some cooking now, we can talk some other time if you don't mind?, alright Claudia, thank you for your time as well, we will talk later.
