Chapter 15 Leander shrugged out of his coat as he walked into his library and draped it over the back of the chair nearest the door. After a moment, he also loosened his cravat; he wasn’t likely to have any callers now and even if he did, this would be the perfect time to use the polite “not at home” lie. He dropped into his favorite chair, for once without a book in his hands. He’d known, logically, that there would be many problems to face once the truth about him became known, but he hadn’t expected it quite this soon, and certainly not from Lady Carysfort. Julien seemed to believe her anger was directed at him, not Leander, but that made no sense.
