At V&E Group in M City.

After a meeting discussion, V&E Group decided to officially enter Z City. Emma, as the company's CEO, led an advance team to take over Joseph family's assets in Z City.

Meanwhile, on the highway from M City to Z City, several cars sped along.

Emma was somewhat worried and asked Vincent, "Honey, do you think everything will go smoothly this time in Z City?"

Vincent, driving himself, smiled and replied, "Don't worry, with me by your side, there won't be any problems."

Emma nodded in response, saying, "I hope so."

Vincent calmly reassured Emma, "Don't worry, if there are any issues, I'll handle them personally, okay?"

Emma looked out of the car window, feeling somewhat relieved by Vincent's words.

In Z City, Porter Joseph, the newly appointed general manager of Joseph Group and a distant relative of Armand's family, sat anxiously in his office. That morning, he received shocking news: Armand's entire family had been killed overnight.

The office door burst open with a bang, and a man and a woman entered.

Simona strode confidently to the sofa, her fair legs crossed elegantly, exuding an air of noble grace. She spoke directly, "I'm from the Joseph family headquarters, here to take control of all Joseph Group assets in Z City."

Beside her, Mr. Black tossed a silver emblem bearing the crest of the England Joseph family headquarters.

Porter recognized the emblem and was astonished. "You're from the England Joseph family!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

After a brief hesitation, Porter continued, "You..."

"What? Are you planning to defy the family's orders?" Mr. Black's gaze was intense, akin to a hawk fixating on its prey.

Feeling the pressure, Porter involuntarily closed his mouth and lowered his head.

"Mr. Black, please don't intimidate him," Simona gestured for Mr. Black to step back.

"Yes, my lady," Mr. Black immediately complied and retreated.

"Don't be nervous. I'm here representing our headquarters in England. With Armand's family no longer here, the family sent me to handle the aftermath. Our first task is to take over Joseph Group in Z City," Simona explained to Porter. "You can continue as the general manager of Joseph Group. With the family's backing, Joseph Group's prosperity will continue to grow. Wealth, power, influence—all will increase for you."

After a moment's hesitation, Porter gritted his teeth and said, "I will follow Miss Joseph's instructions."

'Now that Armand's family has been killed, the entire Joseph Group division has become ownerless. Aligning with Joseph family headquarters is the least I can do to secure my position,' Porter thought to himself.

Simona nodded approvingly and declared, "Very well. You're a smart man. From today onwards, you are the CEO of the Joseph Group division."

Porter couldn't believe his ears. After a moment of hesitation, he stood up and gratefully said, "Thank you, Miss Joseph. I will be loyal to the family."

A hint of disdain flickered across Simona's lips. Porter seemed easily swayed by a few benefits, which made him an easy target for allegiance.

Taking charge of the Joseph Group division was just her first step. Her family had entrusted her with a more crucial task this time: startig from Z City, and then controlling and integrating the entire underworld in Peysprings State, thereby providing more resources for the Joseph family.

That was why Simona's father, the acting head of the Joseph family, had sent his daughter to Z City.

Meanwhile, Vincent and his team arrived at the entrance of the Joseph Group building.

A security guard intercepted them and demanded, "Hold on, who are you?"

Vincent calmly glanced at the guard and replied, "Get your head of the company out. We're from the Joseph family in M City, here to take over the assets of the Armand family."

The guard chuckled dismissively, "Who do you think you are? Get lost!"

Another guard raised his stun baton threateningly, warning, "This isn't a place for the likes of you. Leave now!"

Vincent smiled faintly, maintaining his composure as he addressed the guards, "I'll give you five seconds. If you don't go inform your supervisor, you'll regret it. Do you understand?"

The security guard was on the verge of laughing, but Vincent's icy gaze made him involuntarily shudder.

Vincent's imposing presence left him breathless. Finally, the guard nervously replied, "Wait here. I'll inform the general manager."

With that, the guard hurried away.

Inside the office, Porter was updating Simona on the Joseph Group division's current operations.

Suddenly, the office door slammed open, and a visibly anxious security guard rushed in.

Seeing the interruption, Porter growled in frustration, "Can't you see I have important guests here? What's so urgent?" Taking a deep breath, the guard reported, "Sir, downstairs at the entrance, there's a group claiming to be from the Joseph family in M City. They say they're here to take over our company's assets."

Simona frowned and asked, "Porter, isn't the Joseph family in M City no longer active?"
