"He said take him to get the car!" Galahad stepped forward.
"Ah!" Felix's mouth hung open; he was completely dumbfounded.
‘This guy wants to buy a Maybach worth 100 million dollars just like that? Is he out of his mind?’
But Felix, considering Vincent's convoy of Hummers, cautiously asked, "Sir, are you planning to use it for business purposes or...?
Vincent, without much time to spare, cut to the chase. "I already said. The most expensive one, plus 10 of your latest business-class Mercedes-Benzs."
Swallowing hard, Felix cautiously asked, "Sir, do you realize how much all these cars are worth?"
Ignoring him, Vincent handed Galahad a bank card. "Swipe it," he instructed.
After seeing Vincent's unimpressive bank card, Felix couldn't hide his amusement. "Where did this hillbilly come from? Doing a 100-million-dollar deal and he's using a bank card?"
Vincent looked at Felix indifferently. "Sell them if you can, find someone who can if you can't. If you're not high enough up, call your manager over."
With a sneer, Felix retorted, "You think you can just summon our manager, you hillbilly? This isn't a place, where you can just wander around in with your secondhand Hummers!"
Felix's voice carried, and soon the manager of the Mercedes-Benz dealership in M City came over.
Felix immediately recounted what happened to the manager. Understanding that customers shouldn't be insulted, the manager smiled and said, "Sir, our Mercedes-Benz models are high-end, and our dealership doesn't deal in used cars. You might find what you're looking for elsewhere."
Impatiently, Galahad intervened. "Can't you understand plain English? Swipe the card!"
In an instant, upon noticing the insignia on Galahad's shoulder, the manager's pupils constricted. He wasn't a fool. The five stars on Galahad's shoulder immediately revealed the identity of the man who was just called a hillbilly. What happened at the billionaire banquet had already spread throughout M City.
The manager, Dean Freeman, humbly took the black card from Galahad and slapped Felix beside him.
Snap! Felix fell to the ground, clutching his swollen face.
"For wasting the time of our esteemed customer and tarnishing the reputation of our dealership, from today, you're fired! None of our Mercedes-Benz dealerships will ever employ trash like you!"
Felix, holding his red and swollen cheek, widened his eyes upon hearing the manager's harsh words. As he gazed at Vincent before him, he felt like he was seeing a god.
Wiping his tears and snot, realizing that he had offended someone who could instantly change the manager's attitude, Felix crawled towards Vincent. "Please forgive me! I was ignorant and foolish! Please forgive me."
Vincent, looking down at Felix with indifference, impatiently kicked him away and ignored all his pleas.
Soon, he paid for all the cars and left with Galahad.
"We will await your return with open arms!" All the staff at the Mercedes-Benz Center bowed ninety degrees as Vincent left.
At home, Vincent found Emma lounging in a chair and scrolling through her phone.
Seeing Vincent return, Emma looked up and asked, "Vincent, who do you think the person who spent a hundred million on Cloudtop Villa is? It's the best mansion in M City. I envy whoever bought it!"
Vincent picked up a glass of water, smiling. "Emma, no need to envy. I am the one who bought Cloudtop Villa. Once it's renovated, I'll have you move in."
Emma was surprised. "The news said the villa was sold for a hundred million dollars. Do you really have that kind of money?"
Vincent didn't bother explaining. He knew Emma would believe it once they moved in.
After finishing his water, he spoke up. "Today's the day Hope gets discharged. I've arranged a fleet to pick her up."
Emma's eyes lit up. "Great, I'll get ready, and we can go together."
As they stepped out of the apartment, Emma was stunned to find a fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars parked outside.
"Oh my! What's..." Emma was stunned by what she saw.
She turned to Vincent. "Vincent, what's with the convoy?"
Vincent chuckled. "Nothing much. After buying Cloudtop Villa yesterday, I got myself a Maybach. Riding in a convoy of Hummers every day is too flashy, and they're uncomfortable."
Emma's eyes widened at the sight of the limited-edition Maybach escorted by a fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars.
Thinking of what happened recently, Emma got increasingly doubtful of her husband's identity. She tentatively asked, "Vincent, our daughter is still in the hospital, and we have many financial commitments at home. You don't need to rent these cars just to impress me, you know? I've said it before, I'm not a vain woman; you don't need to do this..."
Vincent, feeling a bit embarrassed, smiled. Apparently, Emma thought he had rented the cars.
Then he explained, "Emma, don't worry about our daughter's medical expenses. I believe you've seen what kind of person I am these past few days. I really don't lack the money. It's time to pick up Hope from the hospital."
