Chapter 14A quick sweep of the cave proved, as Isabella suspected, that her things were untouched. Who knew why the guys hadn’t thought to check there first. It seemed like such an obvious hiding spot. There’s no way they hadn’t seen the structure yet, either. When she returned, she found at least a dozen wolf tracks circling the outside of the entrance. She hadn’t noticed them that morning. From now on, the first task of the morning was checking for new tracks. Now that she was alone, the worst part of silence was catching up to her. Being unaccompanied with her own thoughts was potentially self-destructive. All she could think of was how pissed off she was at herself. She was clean. Not only that, she was cured. Chase had totally cleansed her body from the toxins with his . . . powers.
