The Rare Omega

859 Words
Xander's POV Both Zane and I jerked awake when we heard a scream in the distance, we both looked to the center of the bed where Jocelyn had been only to find it empty. Hearing another scream I threw back the blankets and pulled on some shorts quickly. Zane in his hurry to get untangled from the blankets tripped and fell to the floor, continuing into a roll until he came to his feet grabbing shorts on his was to the door. We ran through the house feeling Jocelyn's pain through our new bond but not knowing what the cause was. We slammed through the from door of the house and came to a quick halt when we saw Jocelyn on her hands and knees in the dirt. We hesitated only a moment but that's all it took for her transformation to be completed. We watched as her back arched and lengthened and her hands grow into big paws. Her body sprouted thick white fur and a long bushy tail. As she turned and made eye contact with us we noticed that she had one blue eye and one green. It was intimidating at first with her sheer size but stunning at the same time. As we moved closer Zane squatted down at her level and took a deep breath.Jocelyn stilled smelled like herself but unlike other wolves she didn't smell like a wolf in this form. I moved closer to her and couldn't help but tell her how beautiful she was. Pure white wolves were a rarity in werewolves and only popped up every 1,000 years. If she was as rare as I was thinking, her being a hidden omega wasn't going to be as hard to believe as we had originally thought. As I was looking at Jocelyn, taking her all in and running my hands through her fur, she threw her head back and let out a loud howl before passing out. Zane scooped her up in surprise and we carried her into the house paying her on the couch. We sat around the couch watching and waiting for Jocelyn to wake up. Before we knew it an hour had gone by and there weren't any signs of changes. I got up and went to the kitchen figuring Jocelyn would be hungry when she woke up. I tossed some steaks on the grill out front and came back into to get some baked potatoes together. When I had gotten everything finished and was platting up Zane called me from the other room " I think she's waking up, she's shifted back to her human form." I raced into the living room to see that Jocelyn was now laying on the couch in her human form naked. Zane was laying a blanket over her as her eye lashes began to flutter. I moved closer to the couch but didn't touch her, I could tell through our bond that her emotions were all over the place and that she was having a hard time figuring out what had happened. As her eyes opened and focused on me I smiled gently at her " hi there love, how are you feeling?" I asked not wanting to over whelm her with questions first thing. She struggled to sit up so I leaned forward, placing my hand on her back to help her up. She groaned slightly " I feel like my body was rearranged" she said with a slight chuckle before looking up at Zane and I with a pale face. " Please tell me I just dreamt that I turned into a wolf like you and that if didn't really happen" She looked between the two of us, hoping that one of us would tell it wasn't real. We just looked at her before Zane answered " it wasn't a dream, you really did turn into a wolf. You going into heat and us completing the mating must have triggered your shift. Your a beautiful white wolf and big too, almost as big as Murdoch and Zaylen." Jocelyn went pale with that news. I reached over and brushed her hair behind her ear trying to calm her down. Once we find our mates were able to help calm each other's wolves just by being near or touching. She instantly signed and relaxed into my touch.Zane stood and went to our bedroom and brought a purple silk robe back for Jocelyn to wear, then I led her to the kitchen so we could eat before I began to tell her our theory about her being a white wolf. Once we had finished eating we Zane and I got a beer each and Jocelyn helped herself to a glass of red wine, then we moved to the porch to sit and talk. I began by telling her that white wolves were very rare with werewolves and were always female. They only showed up every 1,000 years and always had some sort of special ability. The fact that she had mismatched colored eyes was a rarity all its own. She looks at me with shock filled eyes not knowing what to say,
