Zane's POV

I couldn't help think of how lucky we were as I sat there and gazed at my mate. Not only was she the perfect mate for us but she was also a rare white wolf. I started wondering what type of special ability she might have when a sudden thought came to mind.

"Jocelyn, when you shifted did you hear your wolf?"

She looked at me confused at first then shook her head : no I didn't hear anything. The pain was awful then it suddenly stopped and you and Xander were there, that's the last thing I remember."

As soon as she finished talking I noticed her entire body went still and she got a far away look in her eyes. I looked over to Xander and waited a moment. Werewolves often got a glazed look when they were mind linking with someone or their wolf was communicating with them.

When her eyes came back into focus she looked at me and smiled.

"My wolf's name is Jade."

I smiled back at her, feeling happy for her. Getting your wolf is an exciting time, most shifters go through their first shift early in life so its odd that she just went through her fist shift at her age.

" We have a witch friend that might be able to help us understand why you shifted so late and why your wolf was in hiding for so long. I'll give her a call then we can get cleaned up and start heading that way. She lives deep in the woods so the drive will take us a little while."

As we all headed inside to get showered and dressed, I called Sybil to fill her in on what was going on she said she would be expecting us by the end of the day. As I wondered into the bedroom I didn't see Jocelyn or Xander anywhere so I continued into the bathroom where I found Jocelyn sitting on the counter naked while Xander was getting the shower started. I walked up to Jocelyn and nudged her knees with my hips until she spread them wide enough for me to stand between and leaned forward to kiss her. When I pulled back she wrapped her arms around my middle and placed a kiss in the center of my chest. I ran my hands through her hair before lifting her off the counter and leading her into the shower where Xander had already entered. I pushed Jocelyn under the water then reached for the shampoo.

"I filled Sybil in on what's going on and she will be expecting us by the end of the day." I told them both.

I got a nod from Jocelyn as I continued to work the shampoo into her hair before rinsing it.

"Did she seem like she had some answers for us?" Xander asked as he switched spots with me and took up the conditioner bottle to finish Jocelyn's hair as I began washing my body.

" She said that she knew a little bit but she would look into it more while she waited for us to arrive." I commented as I watched Xander moved onto washing Jocelyn's body. She was so relaxed that she had her eyes closed and was purring. The omega in her was staring to come through strong with her affection and submissiveness that she showed to her mates.

We soon got out and headed into our room to dress. Xander and I wore our usual jeans, boots and dark t-shirts, Black for me and blue for him. Jocelyn pulled on a pair of black leggings and an over sized sweater with flat knee high boots.I had run back to her house for some of her belongings in between heat waves. We all loaded into my truck and headed off down the road to sybil's.

" It's going to be a few hour drive, you should try and get some more rest. Shifting for the first time takes a lot out of you." I whispered to Jocelyn. She pulled her feet up on the seat pressing them against my thigh and leaned into Zane and closed her eyes. IT wasn't long before I heard her breathing quiet and even out. I placed my hand on her thigh as she slept, smiling to myself at how happy I was now.
