Zaiden’s POV
I pecked her cheek and headed to my room to freshen up. After I was done, the chef had already brought my food.
Once I finished eating, I went straight to Karen’s room. I knew she would love the idea of me cuddling her. Just the thought made my heart flutter.
I opened the door and saw her whispering my name in her sleep. The room was filled with her sweet scent. I moved closer, only to find her crying even while asleep. My chest tightened.
I climbed onto the bed and gently pulled her into my arms. Her body was burning hot and damp with sweat. Without hesitation, I lifted her and carried her to the tub. It wasn’t easy, but she was my mate, I’d endure anything for her.
