Between Worlds exchange

Two worlds in the same solar system to hold life. It was almost unheard of at one point in time. A long long time ago the moon randomly had a worlds creating event like Earth. When the Moon became its own planet, it gained inhabitants. First weird like creatures with 6 eyes on every animal. Next the people, they were not human. When Earth found out they were scared at first isolating the new inhabitants of the Moon. Till generations passed and the Moons people had developed their own space travel. Then they were sending messages to Earth. First they have a preferred name of The Lunars. Next they had to live peacefully with the earthlings. There had to be a way where they could coexist. Not like there were any other habitable planets in the universe. The humans took a long time to respond and the Lunars kept sending messages every few generations never giving up hope. Now in the year 2028 an agreement had been struck. Each world would chose 24 young adults 12 females and 12 males. These 24 individuals would be from the ages 18-23 perfect age for colleges and universities. It was well known children saw no issue in race and differences. That it was infact a learned trait. The worlds advisors figured these young adults would be the easiest to figure out if they could learn to accept each other. They would go to colleges of their choosing. For the next four years, or how ever long it took them to graduate, they would study and learn the cultures. Figure out how to appreciate each other. This groups main stars from The moon "Lunar" were a male and female pair. Rhea Gardina, a nineteen year old shifter who is heir to her pack; And Kofi Amari, a twenty year old hybrid mermaid and vampire. His mother is a mermaid and father a vampire. Rhea has dreams of meeting her mate on Earth and bringing him home to be her Lune. Their male version of a Luna. Kofi wants to study human medicine and become a doctor staying in Earth full time. Both of them picked the same school Element University in Florida. It had medicine and art which is what both wanted to study. From Earth we have another male and female pair. Sebastián Hert, an eighteen year old son of a CEO who bought his way onto the shuttle. Little Zoey Raven, an eighteen year old music prodigy, she worked her way onto the ship and hounded the representative until they accepted her. These two picked an art university named Zografikí University. Earth also sent a surprise among the twenty four chosen. Wanting to see how it played out they implanted a camera into the person's eyes. If taken out or manipulated they would explode. No loss to Earth. Lunar played no games, they let the chosen be picked lottery style everyone's name on once. In total there was only about forty name in the bowl. Lunar did not have many young people. Will everything go smoothly and transportation between worlds be approved; or will the Lunars have to find a new place to live? Only time would tell.
