Chapter 5

Alisyah's P.O.V

The minute I closed the door I rested my back against it and let out a sigh of relief. I still couldn't get my head wrapped around by that, he knows I'm still new to all this and he just had to get me all flustered. Just the thought of that made me let out an embarrassed huff.

Shaking my head to get all the fuzziness out, I proceeded to walk down the stairs and out the front door. It didn't go unnoticed though, everyone in the pack house kept looking at me, but one person in particular caught me the most, Roxy. I really wasn't in the mood for her so, I just ignored her staring at me and carried on to the door.

The minute, wait no not even a minute, the second my foot was out she grabbed my hand and held a tight grip as she spoke." You better make sure your ass stays away from Asher! Mate or not, he's mine!" How did she know?! Not one person knew other then the people that were in my room in the infirmary .

Due to her outburst, people started to gather around us. I looked at her hand holding my wrist then looked at her face with a blank stare. Roxy didn't seem to like my emotionless face so, she pushed me to the ground. That pissed both Amber and I off royaly, even if I never used to show emotion, now she really is going to get what I've been keeping in for so long.

But then I thought about what I've always taught myself, not to show emotion so, I sighed got up and started walking away. The crowd started to whisper and Roxy started laughing.

"Oh look, our precious Luna is running away like the little coward she is. If you can't even protect yourself, then how are you going to protect a whole pack as a Luna?!" She said as she continued to laugh.

I continued walking just trying to ignore her so bad, only she seemed to have been pissed off herself so, she ran grabbed me by my long silver hair. My head jerked back as she did so. That was the last straw and I couldn't keep it in anymore. I grabbed her hand, twisted round her back, kicked the back of her legs and she fell to her knees with her arm twisted behind her, by me.

I then gripped her throat and jerked her head up so she was looking up at me. With her head still looking up I whispered in her ear but also loud enough for everyone to hear.

"I'm not going to take what you gave me for the past 13 years anymore. I am your Luna and you will give me the respect that I want, if not then there will be consequences. I'm not that scared little girl that you used to push around anymore Roxy so you better watch what you do or say. Do you understand me?"

"Yes Luna." She whimpered out in a weak voice and I smiled in satisfaction.

"Good. Now you are going to home and I'll see you in the morning on the training grounds, is that clear?" I said as I let her go and stood up again. I then helped her up so she could dust herself off. She seemed surprised by my actions but said nothing and took my hand.

Roxy replied with a 'yes Luna' and a nod before she turned around and made her way home. People were still standing around looking at me in shock." That goes for all of you, now go home and rest I need you all on the training ground bright and early. Goodnight."

They then greeted back and made their way home as well. I sighed out and did the same. Once I was home, I had something to eat then sat and spoke a bit with my parents then went to bed. I was excited that tomorrow I could finally train out in the open and not in a private area. Yes it was nice, having my own space but this thrilled me more.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of someone banging on my door like a maniac. I groaned and looked at the clock next to my bed,05:30am! Who the heck wakes someone up at 05:30 in the morning!? Wait, only one person I can think of: Jesse.

I groaned and got out of bed to open the door. When I opened the door, I knew I was right, standing there with a huge bright smile on her face was Jesse. She was dressed in a shorts, sports bra with a lose tank top over, her blonde hair was in a high ponytail and her blue eyes were shining in happiness.

Jesse really seemed to want to tell me something, if she woke me up at this hour."Good morning sunshine!" She shouted with a cute giggle. I can't wait for the day she finds her mate. Whoever heshe may be, will be very lucky to have a girl like Jesse in their lives.

"Good morning to you to." I giggled as well when I hugged and moved so she could walk inside." You seem awfully happy this morning. Oh, who am I kidding you always this happy with your amazing personality. What's going on Jes?" I giggled at how she was jumping with excitement.

"Oh you'll see. Just got have a shower and I'll get your clothes out. I'll still be here so, go go go!" Okay now I really want to know what's going on. She probably saw the confusion on my face, as she gave me a wink and pushed me into my bathroom.

I shook my head and let out a small laugh, closed the door and stripped down and got into the shower. When the warm water hit my body I felt my muscles relax, I sighed at the feeling then took my lufa and poured some of my lavender and mint shower jell on it and scrubbed my body down.

I then washed my hair with the same flavored shampoo and conditioner. Once I was rinsed I got out and wrapped a towel around my body and hair. I walked out while drying my hair with the towel to see Jesse had left. On my bed there was a pair of workout shorts, a cropped hoodie and black lacy underwear with a matching bra. There was also a note in Jesse's handwriting.

'Just a little something to make Asher's head turn.

"OMG! She didn't! Jesse!" I face palmed and sighed, then shrugged. I'm just happy I don't have to train in secret anymore. I then got dressed, put my hair in a bun then went to the full length mirror in my room. Jesse was right it does show my tattoo. The story on how I got the tattoo is really funny actually.

(Flashback to the day of getting the tattoo)

On the day I was supposed to shift on my 16th birthday, me, my parents, Jesse, Beta Williams, Alpha and Luna, went far into the woods so that I could shift. We waited for a long time but nothing happened. I was crushed and thought something was wrong with me, those that were there with me comforted me and said everything was going to be okay but I never believed it would.

Later that night, I was laying in bed trying so hard not to break down again, when there was a knock on my window. Confused I stood up and walked to the window to find Jesse and Jay standing there. I opened the window and let them in. Jesse then told me to get dressed. Still confused I got dressed in my bathroom, then we snuck out my window again.

They then took me to a small town just outside our pack boarders. I asked her why Jay was with us and she said that the only reason we got this far was because of him and he wouldn't let us go alone. We then stopped at a small tattoo shop that was still open and said,"I didn't want you to end your birthday like that so, we're getting you a tattoo!"

I really appreciated it as she is always there to make things better so, I agreed on two conditions. One she got one with me and two that Jay had to keep quiet about it and not to tell Asher or anyone. They both agreed and we got it done.

Jesse and I both got matching Japanese flowers only different colors, mine was blue and black whereas hers was pink and white, with a quote in Japanese that says,'don't worry be happy'. We are the only ones that know what it means so it stayed a secret between the two of us. It was pretty funny so we went with it.

(End of flashback)

I laughed remembering that night while standing in front of my full-length mirror and she was right it did show off my tattoo on my ribs. I then walked out of my room and made my way downstairs to the kitchen where my mom was making breakfast.

"Good morning mom." I said as I kissed her cheek as I took an apple with a bottle of orange juice.

"Good morning sweetie. Ready for training? I heard you might be teaching today. Oh and I see you finally decided to show that tattoo of yours." She said as she placed some eggs on a plate. I blushed when she mentioned my tattoo. They weren't really happy about it but after I explained why I got it they were a bit fine not a lot but fine.

"Oh ummm.....yeah, sure I'm ready." I was confused on the whole me teaching thing but I just went with it. I guess this is why Jesse was so excited. Huh. "And mom you guys said you were okay with it and I'm 18 now so it's not that big of a deal right?"

"Yeah, yeah but still you did it without our permission so I'm still going to bother you about it." She laughs and I laughed as well." Here take this and put it on the table. Oh! And Luna Anderson was talking about planning your ceremony." Mom said as she handed me the plate of eggs and bacon.

"Wait....WHAT?!" I technically shouted not what I intended but whatever my focus is on what my mom just told me. It was way to early for this, I still need time!

"Yes honey, now that we found out that you are going to be Luna we need to prepare for these things and not to mention the mating ceremony."

I literally felt like I was going to faint due to being hit by a bus of information I did not need this morning. UGH!!!

"Mom it's still too early for all that, it has literally only been a day mom ONE DAY! I still need more time." I practically whined out but can you blame me? I knew this was going to come up but not so soon!

"Alright. I'll speak to her today and see if we can just do all this in a later date. You and Asher do need more time I suppose and when you guys are ready you can let us know. How does that sound?"

"Thank you mom and that sounds perfect and we will let you know, just not so soon okay." I sighed in relief when she understood. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and walked to the dining room. I placed the plate down and sat across from Jesse after greeting my dad.

Jesse kicked me under the table and I yelped in surprise and looked at her with a slight glare. I mouthed 'what' and she just giggled and wiggled her eyebrows at me. I looked at her as though she was crazy till she gave me a wink mouthing,' you look hot as hell'. I laughed and rolled my eyes playfully.

My dad looked up from his newspaper and looked at us shaking his head mumbling out"teenage girls these days," but we both heard him and burst out laughing. After we finished up with breakfast, Jesse and I left for the training grounds.

When we got there everyone stopped and turned to look at us, or more specifically me. "Why are they all staring?"Jesse whispered to me. Oh right she doesn't know about what happened last night between Roxy and I.

"Oh, that's because I sorta showed Roxy whose boss or should I say Luna, last night after leaving from Asher's." I whispered back, she made on O-shape with her mouth the laughed."You go girl, show her whose truly Luna." I laughed at her and shook my head.

Just as we were walking to get to the front, we walked passed Asher and Jesse was right, his head did turn as I walked past him. He growled as I didn't even spare him a glance as I walked away. I giggled so did Jesse seeing his reaction.

As we walked every wolf that I passed bowed their head in respect to me and it was nice. Once I was at the front, everyone lined up waiting for me to give the first instruction. Asher came and stood next to me taking my hand in his.

"Good morning everyone! I know that this is a bit of a surprise to all of you, it is for me too but that doesn't matter now I want you all to start up with some push ups. Come on!"

Everyone then dropped down and started doing push ups just as I had said. I watched as they all tried to impress me to show their strength and that was something to admire. Walking around watching them all, Asher just stood there watching me with proud eyes so I decided to mess with him a bit.

"Asher, I did say everyone didn't I?" I said through mind link to which he jumped at, not expecting my voice in his head. I giggled at his reaction and smirked.

"Oh you want to play dirty now do you?" He replied back smugly. I shrugged my shoulders and crossed my arms over my chest.

"I think you just afraid to show me that you can't do any push ups or your just bad at it." I replied and turned around to continue watching the rest.

"Alright just you wait and see." As he said that I turned and saw that he had dropped down as well and was doing it. I knew I hit a button but was not expecting it to be so sexy.

I shock my head to get rid of the thoughts and just as I was about walk on again he said,"Enjoying the view beautiful?" That smirk on his face really ticked me off.

"Ha! As if don't get ahead of yourself handsome." I replied catching him off guard when I called him handsome. I couldn't help but smile and then focused back on training.

"Alright everyone that's enough!" They all got up and dusted off their hands."Go and have a 15 minute break, then we're going to get ready to spar so, find your partner and have a break."

There was a chorus of 'yes Luna' and they all got themselves a partner. Only I noticed that not one person wanted to have Roxy as a partner so, I went to her. I told her to spar with me since Jay and Jesse were partners and Cole was with Asher.

"Why are you being so nice to me after everything I've done? You should be hating me by now, just like everyone else, not acting like a friend towards me."

"Roxy, it doesn't matter anymore. Yes I should be hating you but that's not the type of person I am, it's just who I am. You are part of this pack and my duty is to protect all of you not hate this one and leave them to get hurt or die. I forgive you and hope we can be friends."

I gave her a small smile and she smiled back at me but also did the unexpected, she......she hugged me, which totally caught me off guard, but I returned the hug anyway.

"Sure we can be friends and I'd also like to say that I'm really sorry for treating you the way I did. I don't deserve your forgiveness but thank you for forgiving me. You see, umm......I guess I was just jealous of of you, you were...I mean are beautiful, unique and always had this amazing bright smile no matter what, and I guess I wanted to take that from you. If I hadn't of started all this or been jealous, we would have been great friends long ago so, I'm sorry."

I was so not expecting a full blown confession plus apology in one but I'll take it. She realized her mistake and took credit for it, not a lot of people can do that. Owning up to a mistake this big is hard but at least she did so I'm cool, let's just hope everyone else does too.

"It's okay. I forgive you and thank you for owning up to your mistake and apologizing. It takes a lot of balls to do that." I laughed and she laughed with me. I gave her one last smile and left to get ready. Everyone was refreshed and ready, which was awesome. Time to finally show them what I've been taught.

"Okay so, what I'm going to show you is how to get your opponent down without using much strength or force but skill. Ready!?" They all gave a 'yes Luna' and I gave a full demonstration. After the demonstration I gave the go for them to give it a try.

We were at it for about a half an hour, till Jasper came running towards us breathless. Asher came and stood next to me and held me close, with a tense body. Something's wrong.

"What's wrong Jasper?" I asked as calmly as I could even if I was freaking out a bit by his behavior.

"There are hunters in the territory! They took out most of our warriors at the boarders!" He shouted breathless.

"What?! Hunters that's impossible! Hunters have never stepped foot on our land before, why on earth would they now?" Asher asked with a growl and I can understand why, and he's right we have never had hunters come on our lands.

"Yes Alpha there's 10 in total. We tried to stop them but it was no use they had silver bullets coated in wolves-bane." Jasper replied still trying to calm down his breathing, he must have ran really fast to get to us.

Just then an arrow shot through the air and lands straight in.....my chest, just barely grazing past my heart. The next thing I know everything is slowly fading and my vision is covered in darkness. The last thing I remember was the echo of Asher calling my name, till I was completely drowned by the darkness.
