Rise Of The Silver Moon

Chapter 6

Asher's P.O.V

''Hunters in the territory, there are hunters in the territory!" Jasper, one of my warriors, shouted as he ran towards Alisyah breathless which is weird since he is our fastest runner. I ran to where they stood to make sure of the situation and hold Alisyah close to me.

"What?! Hunters that's impossible! Hunters have never stepped foot on our land before, why on earth would they now?"I asked the minute I got to them.

It is really weird for Hunters to enter our territory, they've never done it before so what's the reason to now? As soon as he gave a nod to confirm it, an arrow shot through the air and landed into Alisyah's chest.

Before she fell to the ground I leaped forward and caught her in my arms. I tried to get her to stay awake but she was falling too fast into the darkness for me to grasp. I can't lose her, no not yet I just got her I can't lose her!

I picked her up bridal style and rushed in the direction of the pack infirmary, while mind linking Dr Lucy, our pack doctor. Just as I reached the door that lead to the infirmary she was already there.

When she caught sight of me, she quickly rushed to get Alisyah out of my arms and onto a stretcher. I placed her down and took a step back. My wolf and I were on edge with the unbearable thought of losing her after just finally getting her. I watched as Dr Lucy worked on my mate. She proceeded to cut the cropped hoodie Alisyah had on and that's when I caught sight of the black lacy bra she had on the tattoo on her ribs that I didn't even notice till now.

Dr Lucy gripped onto the arrow still in Alisyah's chest and was about to pull it out but stopped immediately when she heard the loud protective growl that ripped through from deep within my chest and removed her hand from the arrow.

"Alpha, forgive me but I have to get it out now. She's healing way faster than any wolf I've seen so, if I don't get it out now then....." she trailed off, which did not seem good at all so, with a single nod for her to continue and at least calm down so she do her job. As she again took a grip on the arrow, I had to suppress another growl that threatened to escape. She then proceeded to literally RIPPED it out. Just then once the arrow was out the wound closed and Alisyah shot up with a pain filled scream giving everyone including me a fright.

Her eyes were silver and not the beautiful green I've always known and loved. They searched the room so fast not leaving anything out at all. I took a step closer to her and her head shot to me and she let out a warning growl to stay back so I did. Alisyah then slowly got off the bed watching everyone with a silent warning not to move. Everyone stood completely still as statues even me. Once she was completely off she tilted her head upwards and took a deep breath in.

"I smell them." Was all she said before shifting, faster than anyone I know who is newly shifted, and took off out of the infirmary and straight into the woods. I quickly mind linked my dad and Chris about what happened, then shifted as well and ran in the direction she went. Once I caught her scent, lavender and mint, I followed it. She's pretty fast but I'll catch up. As soon as I did I continued to follow wherever she was going.

"You shouldn't be following me, it's way too dangerous." She said through mind link as we ran. We then skid to a stop and quietly walked up to where the smell of silver and wolves-bane were coming from.

"No, I should be here. You can't just run off like after being shot with an arrow and act like everything's fine and expect me not to follow you Alisyah." I replied back to her but also getting frustrated with her right now. Honestly how can she be like this right now it's infuriating.

"I can handle myself Asher, I don't need a babysitter watching my every move and I'm fine so by the way. You can go and don't tell my dad or yours about what happened I don't want them to know. They'll get worried and I'm so not in the mood to be treated like a baby by them."

"Well it's too late already, they know. I told them after you just ran off like that, what was I supposed to do?"

"Oh my go- why would you do that? They must be worried sick right now and-" She stopped mid-sentence and lifted up her wolf's head and her ears twitched.

"What's going on?" I asked as I too listened as well.

"Someone's coming."She answered and that's when I heard stomping sounds more like paws hitting the ground as they ran. My dad and a few others.

"Dad, you coming?" I mind linked him in a private link.

"Yeah, is Alisyah with you? After what you told Chris and I he's been worried."

"Yeah I'm here but stop and come quietly we're close to the Hunters." She said to all of us in a full open mind link but how did she-? Oh her new and improved "ABILITIES". Perks of being a silver wolf I guess.

"I heard that you idiot." She said with annoyance in the tone of her voice. How did she hear that I didn't say it out loud?!

"HUH?! Heard what? I didn't say anything."I played dumb not wanting to be caught out even though I'm still confused on how she heard that.

"I can hear your thoughts so, if you don't want me to know what your thinking control it." She laughed through the mind link.

"WHAT?! Uhmm....h-how m-much have y-you h-heard?" s**t, I made it worse by stuttering stupid i***t!

"Why do you think I left last night after you got out of the shower? I heard what you were thinking and decided it would be best to leave as soon as possible. I even know what you really think of Roxy and you stop, she and I are friends now."

Well s**t. Just then my dad,Chris,Jay,Jesse,Cole and Beta Williams showed up. We all slowly walked out from behind he trees and towards the Hunters. There was a total of 10 Hunters, 3 with bows and arrows. Must have been one of these idiots that shot Alisyah. The other 7 had guns filled to the brim with sliver bullets soaked in wolves-bane. We all took on one but 3 headed straight for Alisyah, she fought the 2 off easy, but the third one she had a bit of a struggle.

I tried to focus one my own fight and trying not to get shot by the Hunter in front of me but my mind kept on going back to her.

"I'll be fine, now focus before he hurts you!" She mind linked me to focus and that's what I did.

I did as she had asked and focused. I disarmed him from his weapon and charged at him but as I had him pinned down he pulled out a knife. He tried to stab me but I dodged the blade by jumping off him and taking a step back. He stood up and I ran towards him dodging the blade once more and bit the arm that held the knife, ripping his arm clean off. Blood pooled into my mouth and messed on my fur but I didn't care. He screamed out in pain and gripped to where his arm once was. I then leaped onto him as he fell to the ground and ripped off his head.

Once my Hunter was dead and I noticed everyone else was finishing off theirs as well. I then looked over at Alisyah and saw the most amazing move ever. She leaped into the air in her wolf form then in mid-air she shifted into human form again to flip in the air gripping the Hunters head in her hands and ripped his head clean off. Blood splattered everywhere on her and the ground.

As she stood there with his head in her hands she gazed at, scoffed then tossed it to the side like it was a ball. I don't think she realized it yet as she stood in her full naked glory. I couldn't help but let my eyes wonder and save mental imagers in my head as I savoured the beauty in front of me, call me perverted or what but I don't care, my mate is sexy. From her deep collar bone curve to her perfectly big perky breasts, her curvy waist and deep v-line that sticks out perfectly and finally her–. Before I could finish having the pleasure in looking at her, she shifted again and ran into the coverage of the trees and towards the pack house without another word, and we followed suite.

As we were heading back, me being too distracted by remembering how Alisyah stood there, I didn't notice that Cole had saved his Hunter and was taking him to the pack cells deep within the woods. My mind kept going back to Alisyah's body and made both myself and my wolf want to mark her as soon as possible, but she's not ready yet and I'll respect that, I'll wait as long as I have to for her. Once we reached the pack I walked up to my room still in wolf form to take a shower and get rid of the blood from the fight and also take care of something from seeing Alisyah naked.

After my very cold shower I got dressed and then made my way to my dad's office as he had asked. I then noticed as Alisyah stood with Jesse in a corner discussing about something, with Jesse giggling like a school girl that was talking about her school crush.

I looked at Alisyah and thank Goddess she was dressed properly, well almost. She wore a black ripped jeans with a black sport bra top thing with a white net over, her tattoo on full display. Once again my mind went back to the gorgeous sight I witnessed and I felt my jeans tighten.(I'm usually not this easy to wake up but what can I say she's my mate it's bound to happen.)

I let out a sigh of relief as soon as my dad walked into the office with the most serious face I have ever seen. We started discussing about on why the Hunters came to our land in the first place till something clicked in my dad.

"So what I had gathered from the Hunter we caught, which in fact was too stubborn to break so I had to use some other methods, they were here for you Alisyah sent by your mother's uncle." My dad started to explain and I grew angry at the thought of anyone trying to take her from me. But wait....MOTHER?

"I know. Amber had already told me what he wants and is determined to get it done no matter what. He went through this with my Grandmother, Mother and now he wants me. The reason Amber knows this is because Amber was both my Grandmother's and Mother's wolf." She answered but how the heck is that even physically possible?

" That's impossible!! Are you sure?" My father exclaimed and I agree with him it is very impossible.

"Yes Alpha. Do you want me to explain how or would you rather prefer Amber herself explain it?" She asked as she stood up with full confidence.

"Sure my dear as long as we understand everything about this." Replied my dad.

She nodded, took in a deep breath then exhaling while whispering out a silent"Amber." Seconds later her eyes shot open and were no longer green but silver like before in the infirmary. I took a step closer towards her and she didn't growl at me this time instead she gave me a smile. I smiled back and reached out my hand for her to take and she did. Immediately as our skin touched an explosion of sparks of electricity dance around our hands.

"Amber. It's wonderful to meet you." I said in a sort of dreamy state as I stared into her sliver eyes.

She giggled and then replied." Hi and it's nice to meet you too. I'm sorry I growled at you earlier, it's just when I'm a bit anxious and tense I don't like people close to me it has happened with my two hosts before." She explained and I guess what Alisyah said was true after all. She smiled and then let go of my hand to scan the room with everyone standing shocked at what she just said.

"OH MY GOD! This is so cool! I'm Jesse, Alisyah's best friend." She squealed in excitement and ran to Amber/Alisyah and hugged her.

"I know who you are and it's awesome to meet you." She giggled and returned the hug. Just watching the sight in front me made my heart swell with love, and then I felt my wolf sigh in my head.

'Hey, what's up Knox?' I asked him as I continued to watch Amber/Alisyah interact with everyone.

'She's just so perfect and sweet and has the most beautiful smile and wolf plus she has the most amazing personality. How on earth did we get so lucky to get a mate like her Asher?'

'I don't know and don't worry you'll meet her soon.'

' Yeah you're right and I can't wait. Oh and uhmm....there is one thing we're both nervous about.'

'And what's that?'

' How you'll have to give me full control during the mating ceremony, you know since it is tradition.'

'Oh yeah I forgot about that but it will only come when she gives us the go ahead remember so chill out okay.'

'Sure okay.' He then went to the back of my mind but still close enough to watch his mate in front of him.

This thing about giving full control to the wolf is a tradition between the Alpha and future Luna. The Alpha has to give full control to his wolf, body and mind, and mate with his mate and Luna. It was something I read a while back before I found out that Alisyah was my mate.

"Okay back to the original topic, even though it is amazing to meet you all. So, the reason I know all of this is because I've been alive for the last three generations of the Silver Wolf Family. I was first originally born as Vanessa's wolf. The thing about having a Silver wolf and it's abilities it also comes with a lot of responsibility on how to use this power. Since being born I was never used for evil or to bring harm neither have any of my family but one. Vanessa's great great grandfather, William. He used his Silver wolf for evil doings and was consumed by the darkness of the evil that filled his heart. What Justin wants is to do the same but use it for a different kind of evil. To him not been given the Silver wolf as his twin sister, Vanessa, he feels betrayed by the Moon Goddess and wants to wipe out the entire werewolf race as revenge but to keep his loyal servants." She sighed sadly and took a seat as did everyone else, and continued her shocking story.

"The reason for me living to this third generation is because when Vanessa found out about her brothers plan to take the throne from her, she had banished him from the royal pack grounds only for him to come back when he found out that she had found her mate and had a child barely 5 years old. When Justin had declared war on his sister to kill his niece and then kill Vanessa. Vanessa then used one of the most deadliest ability we, silver wolves, posses. Transferring your wolf to their offspring. She knew once she did it she would grow weak and might not survive but did it to make sure that her daughter was safe and strong. The day of the war Vanessa hid away her daughter with this neckless and fought in the war as a mere human without a wolf but was still strong and fought till her last breath along with her mate. They both died with the secret of where Payton was hidden." At this very point her voice cracked and there were tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Payton was on the run after she had escaped the castle, even for a 5 year old she was very smart, she stayed hidden within the shadows and took care of herself. When she turned 18 she had her first shift and as she sifted a man came along and had helped her get through it. Once she had shifted back she found out that they were mates and that was how he found her. He took her home with him and she stayed with him since. Then one day her uncle had found her and what was worse was that she was pregnant and was about to give birth. Payton had panicked that he would take her child so before the baby was fully born she had done the same her mother had done with her and transferred her wolf, me, into Alisyah. She knew she was not going to last long so once Alisyah was born her mate took her and the baby and ran but did not get far enough. Justin had a hold on Payton's arm and she let go of her mate's. She had told him to run but he refused to, when she told him to once more he ran with one last look. Her mate took Alisyah put her in a basket with the neckless and her name. He knew that he would not make it just as his mate but by putting her here they both died knowing their little girl will be safe." She finished, took a deep breath and attempted to wipe her tears away but it was of no use.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, it must have been really hard to not live a full generation and having to through the pain of losing 2 mates." Jesse got up from her seat to then go and sit next to her and pull her into a hug to comfort her.

"It was but he won't stop until he has me. He'll want me more now due to the fact that I've grown more stronger and powerful over the years. Another reason why Alisyah's hair is silver, due to the powers we have." She was visually scared and I couldn't stand it so I did what a good mate would do at this point and that is to comfort his mate so that is what I did.

I stood up, walked towards her, took her into my arms and held her tight while whispering sweet nothings into her ear to calm her down and it worked. She was shocked at first but then melted into the embrace and wrapped her arms around my neck.

She then looks up at me and her eyes were no longer sliver but the beautiful green she has. Alisyah then placed her hands on my shoulders to what seems like to balance herself, stood on her tiptoes and kissed me. We stayed connected by the lips for a few more seconds till she pulled away and whispered a quiet 'thank you' against my lips.
