Prologue
One, two, three, four, jump. Five, six, seven, eight, turn. I felt the cold touch of the pole on my skin. I saw the red light of the room reflecting on my soft skin. I finished my last dance for today. I stood at the front of the stage for two seconds, then I turned backwards and began to go towards the backstage when I heard man's voice. "You're not done yet." I looked behind me. A tall man, in his early 30s was standing at the entrance of the room with two other men, handing my boss a large cash file. I looked at Ernest-my boss annoyed. He gave me a begging look and showed me thumb up with hope I wouldn't say no. He must be joking. "It was my last dance, I'm going home. If you want to see the show you can come tomorrow or go to the other rooms. There are still a few girls still working." - I said angrily. "But Ana, these gente..." my boss couldn't finish the sentence as the man interrupted. "You are the most wanted here. I'm only taking the best that place can offer. You will stay and give me a show." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I looked at them again. The man that was handing my boss money looked very confident. He was wearing a black, perfectly fitted, high-quality black shirt, trousers and a long, dark grey jacket. I could see through the material that he was very muscular. His face was very mysterious, and those cold as ice eyes, in a light blue colour. I have never seen such eyes, they seemed unreal. Who the h*l was he? I looked at two other men who were standing behind him. They were looking at me the same way as the man at the front. Their eyes are also as cold as ice, but not as light as his. All of them were quite handsome, all wearing black. They looked like they had money, a lot of money...and power. So, here we go again. It doesn't matter how rich they were, who they were and how much they can offer, I finished for today. I really don't want to hear another stupid story about their life and the cash they have.
"Listen, I don't care how much you can pay and who you are. I'm done for today. I'm happy that you think I'm the best one here, but I will not stay here any more minutes. I'm done with my job for today. You can come the other day."
I saw I made him mad, very mad.
"I said, you are not going anywhere." At that moment I knew I would regret saying no to this man...
