Chapter 11: Where The Hell Is My Mate?

Owen's POV

I am starting to get nervous now that Isabella is only a few weeks away from giving birth to our baby boy. I haven't received word of anyone from the Blood Moon Pack or even caught any of their scents. Alec is so on edge that I have had to keep a block up against him just so he doesn't end up slottering his own pack members. Isabella still doesn't know about the note and I plan to keep it that way until after our son is born.

"Alpha, we need you and Beta Maliki to come to the northern border, we've found something." one of my warriors mind-link me.

"Alright we're on our way." I reply as I walk up to my Gamma Jacob to give him orders.

"Jacob." I say to gain his attention.

"Yes Alpha?" said Jacob.

"Myself and Beta Maliki are needed at the northern border. You are not to leave your Lunas side do you understand?" I tell him using my alpha tone so he has no choice but to comply with my orders.

"Yes Alpha." he agrees.

"Love?" I call though our link.

"Yes baby?" she responds.

"I have to go to the northern border, I will be right back. Jacob is to stay wit you at all times. You are not to be alone so please don't make him leave you. its not me being over protective but what happens if your water breaks and your upstairs or something." I tell her.

"Okay, be careful and let me know when your headed back please. Your son is already being like you and wanting nothing but stake." she giggles and brings a smile to my face.

"Always my love." I return back to face Maliki and let him know what's going on. "We need to head to the northern border now!" I tell him and he is instantly in Beta mode.

When we get there Maliki starts acting really strange and I'm not sure why until he makes eye contact with Izzy's best friend Viki. Come to think of it, its her birthday today.

"MINE" is all that my Beta says with his wolf's eyes shinning through to reveal his green eyes with a glow around them.

"I had no idea. today is my 16th birthday Maliki. Have you known this whole time?" she questions.

"I had a feeling, but I wasn't sure until now. Happy birthday to Viki." Maliki said as he strode over to pick her up and twirl her around.

"Okay, I'm so glad that you guys have found each other, but I'm pretty sure that is not why we were asked to come up here." I stated as Alec started to get extremely anxious.

"No Alpha, we found another note." my warrior told me as he handed me the piece of paper.

I took the paper and was instantly pissed. The nerve of this guy. Ohhh when I get my hands on him I'm gonna rip him limb from limb.

I start to shake and my Beta says "Okay Owen we need to head back to the house. you need to speak with my sister to help you calm down, but if it pisses you off as much as I'm assuming then you probably shouldn't tell her what it says."

"Okay lets head back then." I said before liking my mate. "Love we are on our way back. I'll be there soon I love you."

My mates voice rang in my head loud and clear. "Alright honey, I'll see you soon then. Love you too."

I decide that if I want to get rid of some of this anger I need to shift so I let my beta know then I shift mid stride and run in wolf form all the way to my home.

"Jacob I need clothes, I'm in my wolf form and need you to put some clothes in the tree line closest to the back door." I mind-link my Gamma before I get to close, then I shut off my mind-link to clear my head.

I get to the tree line and put my clothes on. I walk in and I can't quickly pick up on my mates scent. I search the house and I can't find her anywhere.

"Jacob, where the hell is my mate?!?" I mind-link him.

"I had to bring her to the pack hospital. I tried to link you but you had us all shut off. The Luna's water broke." said Jacob and my heart rate slowed but not by much because in a few hours I'm gonna be a father.

"Alright let her know that I'm on my way." I replied trying to give my mate some comfort.

"She asked me to yell at you and tell you that you better get your ass here now. Sorry Alpha her words not mine." he relayed the message and all I can do is smile because she is absolutely amazing.
