Chapter 12: Birth

Isabella's POV

I was sitting at my kitchen table when all of the sudden I felt a sharp pain and heard a pop sound. I stood up and thought I pissed myself, but it didn't smell like urine. I wasn't sure what it was until I realized that I had to be in active labor.

"Owen?" I called but I could still feel the block he had put up on his mind link. so I chose door number two if you will.

"Jacob, I need you to come pick me up and get me to the pack hospital. NOW!" I called through the house as I spoke through the pain of my contractions.

"Yes Luna" Jacob said softly as he tried as carefully as possible to pick me up without causing me any unnecessary pain.

I mind-linked my parents, Viki, Maliki, and Owens parents to meet us at the hospital because we were welcoming the future Alpha and my son today. There will be a grand celebration where all the Alpha's in the country would come to meet him and give their blessings.

We were in the hospital for about 30 minutes before Owen mind-linked Jacob asking where I was. He has now got our hospital bag that way after I give birth then I can change clothes. We have really fast healing and even though I haven't been in active labor for long our dr. Shella said that I should be ready to push any time now. Speaking of which I have so much pressure on my downstairs. Owen walks in and I pick up the closet thing to me (a clock) and throw it as hard as I can aiming for the back of his head.

"OW! What was that for love?" Owen asked as he tried to lean in close for a kiss but not before I grab his beard that has been growing out.

"If you ever do this to me again I promise you I will neuter you and your wolf. Are we understood?" I asked Owen quietly because he always gets scared of me when I whisper.

"Okay well we can discuss this later. Luna are you ready to meet your son?" Shella asked, I nodded my head so fast it made my head spin. "Okay lets start pushing."

About 30 minutes of pushing and out comes my baby boy. He has my crystal blue eyes and his dads beautiful black hair. I just know he's going to be special. I look at Owen and then get anther contraction that makes me question what the hell is going on because they should already be long gone with our healing.

"Shella get back in here NOW!" Owen roared as he felt my pain.

"Yes. Oh it looks like you guys were expecting twins so Luna lets push other one out." Shella said and I just look at Owen while another contraction hits and hand him our son.

About 10 more pushes and I meet my beautiful surprise baby girl. She's not as big as her brother but she has Owens brown eyes and my brown hair.

My babies are absolutely beautiful. I have never felt so much love for anyone or anything in my whole life. Owen and I named our babies Amanda Dawn Carter and Allen Michael Carter.

Maliki and Viki walked in hand in hand and I just knew they had to be mates because they look at each other like Owen and I look at one another. I raised my eyebrow waiting for confirmation of what I already knew.

"Sis, this is not only a very big day for you and our Alpha but it is also a very big day for me and Viki." Maliki started.

"Oh really and why is that?" I said as I handed Amanda to Viki.

Viki giggled and said "Yes really Izzy... I mean Luna. Maliki and I have something we need to tell you." she paused and was waiting for Maliki to finish for her.

"We're mates sis! Can you believe it. It was the last thing I expected to find at the border." He stated.

That reminded me of something that I need to talk to Owen about but something tells me that he's not going to say anything while we are still here so I will wait until we are back at the house and in our own room.

"Owen baby, everything is set up for Allen, but what are we going to do for Amanda?" I asked awaiting for an answer from someone when the door to our room opens.

"Isabella darling, Mason and I are about to leave to go into town for some things, is there anything that you or Allen need?" Jamie asked before looking up to see the second baby in the room. "OH, I guess there is some things. Who is this beautiful angel?" She asked upon seeing my baby girl.

"Mom, dad, I would like for you to meet Amanda Dawn. Your granddaughter." Owen stated glowing with pride, so much so that it made him look even more handsome than he already is.

"Now I really get to go all out. I will get some of the pack members to go in and paint half of the nursery purple okay?" Jaimie stated and I was so happy to see the joy on her face.

"That would be perfect we should be getting out before dinner time. Will you please pick up some more stakes? The one I was going to eat I had to leave on the table because, well it was "Baby time". Also can you please set up the other crib that my mom swore I would need?" I asked as sweetly as I could even though after all that pushing I was so exhausted.

"Of course honey. Would you like for me to ask your parents to come in when we make our leave?" Mason asked with a cheeky grin.

"Yes please also when they come in will you to stay?" I asked Maliki and Viki because I knew that if others were in the room my mom wouldn't be as loud.

"Yes sis, anything you need." Maliki said.

Mason and Jamie gave the babies a kiss on the for head and then left the room. My parents soon entered and the squeals never stopped.

"I told you that you would need the second crib. Looks like Allen was being protective of his little sister just like Maliki was of you. I made your father buy 2 of everything just so I knew for sure that I had everything I needed for you guys." mom said as she admired Allen. I think she was even a little jealous of his eyes.

"He was wasn't he." I said while smiling down at my baby girl.

When we were finally released, we went home and took the babies to the nursery that had already dried and aired out. the cribs were but on the far side of the wall where they were put with Allen's on the side with the blue and Amanda's on the side of the wall with the purple and only had enough room for someone to walk between them.

"Owen earlier, while you were at the northern border, I felt the rage you had. Would you like to tell me what that was all about?" I questioned and I got the answer I thought I would.

"We will talk about this later." he said as he walked to the door but he didn't walk out without saying, "I love you three more than anything and I sware to you that I will always protect you. You have my word." and with that he left.

I am so tired I don't even press on the matter. I walk into my bed room and go to my bed and let darkness consume me.
