Chapter 6: Ceremony

Isabella's POV

After Owen left my room to go tell his parents the news I decided it was best to go wash the smell of s*x off myself. That would be ridiculously embarrassing for my mates mother and Luna smell that on me. I chuckle to myself at the reaction she would have. I pick out a blue tank top and a pair of black sleep shorts along with a white bra and pantie set since my clothes I originally had on got trashed getting rid of my heat.

I decided that I would use my strawberry shampoo and conditioner along with my strawberry body wash. Don't judge but that is my favorite kind of soaps and stuff. I also take the time to shave just incase the Luna wants me to wear a dress.

After my shower I blow dry my hair until there's barely any moister. I apply my foundation and my powder along with my mascara, eye liner, and a nude color lip stick. I get dressed and head to the top of the stairs.

I already know that everyone in the house is absolutely buzzing about me being the Alpha's sons mate. I think that I am seriously so incredibly in-love with Owen already. I never noticed how beautiful his eyes are.

"Okay Izzy snap out of the day dreams." I tell myself as I reach the stairs. I start to walk down the stairs when I get a sharp pain in my stomach. I instantly know that its Owen because I am feeling it through the mate bond that we share.

"OWEN!" I scream as I start to run down the stairs. I start hearing noises outside when I hear someone shouting. when I get to the bottom of the stairs I can hear what they are saying, and it scares the hell out of me.

"ROUGES!" is all I hear when someone tackles me to the ground.

"Owen if you can hear me, I'm trapped in the house at the bottom of the stairs with two male rouges and a female. I think I'm the only one in here so please hurry and come help me." I say as fast as possible through our mind-link.

"I'm heading your way love, I am also sending some of our worriers from the pack house to you because I was on a perimeter run." Owen said and I'm not sure who's worry I feel more mine or his.

While I was distracted I didn't notice one of the male rouges sneak up behind me. I shifted before he had a chance to kidnap me. I turned around fast and ripped one of the rouges heads off then bore my teeth at the others. Come and get me, I think to myself. Before I have a chance to attack the other two another pure black wolf busts threw the front door. I quickly recognize that wolf as being on of our warriors and it isn't to much longer before Owen comes running in and up to me. The warrior destroys the two other rouges that were trying to attack me.

"Oh thank the Goddess your okay. I was so worried about you." Owen tells me after shifting back and putting on some basket ball shorts.

"Your not we need to get you to the pack hospital." I told him after inspecting his wounds.

"Those resources are for pack members that really need them, not for scratches." he stubbornly argues with me.

"Fine. Lets go get them cleaned up then. You know that if your mom sees these she's not going to take no for an answer."

While I clean up Owens wounds he just sits there staring at me.

"Why do you do that? Why have you been looking at me like that?" I asked.

"I look at you like I do because your beautiful and I'm aloud to." he says with his sexy grin.

"Okay then." I say in reply. "Now are we still telling the pack that I am your mate tonight or what?" I asked.

"Yes love we are." Owen replies with a chuckle.

A few hours later and I'm on the inside of the front door. My palms are sweating like no other.

"Calm down love, everything is going to be just fine." I'm not sure if its the mate bond or not but either way Owen always has a way to calm me down.

The door opens and the whole pack is on our front lawn cheering like their lives depend on it. the butterflies come back the moment Owen and I walk onto the stage.

"Silence!" Owen roared and the whole pack shut up faster than I have ever heard. "There is something that I need to address. Some of you may have heard already but I have found my mate finally. Isabella will you please come up and stand by me?" Owen addressed us all like he's been doing this for years.

"Hello, most of you know me already. I will do my best to make you all proud to call me your Luna and your leader. This is a pack, and the strength of the pack relies on each and every one of us. Not just me or Owen, but all of us." I said as I made my speech to the pack and let them know that they can depend on me.

We all spent the rest of the evening having fun and just hanging out as a family. When midnight hit I decided I was ready for bed.

"Hey Owen, I an so tired so I'm going to go to bed." I informed him.

"Alright, good night guys we will see y'all later." he said to his friends.

When we got up stairs we slept in Owen's room so I wore one of his shirts and my panties to bed. the last thing I heard was Owen say "Good night my heart, I love you.
