Our last go through
Since we had already gone through the whole upstairs, I decided that we would have a few drinks and sit by the fireplace for a bit to enjoy some alone time in our beautiful home before leaving for who knows how long. It was pretty hard to make the choice to leave for so long at this point, with everything going on outside of our walls I wondered if our home would even be here when we returned but we had to go no matter how I felt about it all. I found Marky sitting on the stone hearth with the fire going and two of my celebration drinking glasses sitting next to him with a large cube of ice and a few nice sized shots in them both.
