Aaron woke up the next morning with a sleepy smile on his face. He silenced the alarm and rolled over to snuggle up to Lizzy. Usually he would let her sleep, but after finally making love to her, he wanted to cuddle up to his wife.
His arm hit the cool sheets and Aaron sat up in bed and looked around the room. He thought for sure she was in the bathroom and headed in to see her before jumping in the shower.
Aaron called out to Lizzy and was met with silence in the bathroom. He flipped the light on to find it empty. Aaron scratched his head, wondering where Lizzy could be. He stripped off his shorts and stepped into the shower. The scalding water heated his skin until it was red and he ran his head under the stream. He washed quickly then got dressed.
