Claskan soared to the castle, roaring in agony as he crossed the bridge. The dragons standing guard moved quickly into a fighting position, but they were too slow. Claskan took both dragons in his powerful forearms and flew upward. He pulled each dragon toward his maw and blew fire over them. Each lost consciousness and Claskan let them fall. The bodies were fireballs falling soundlessly toward the rocky waters below. He cleared the way for his companions to infiltrate the castle and ascended toward the heavens. Guilt at such a cowardly attack overwhelmed him. The broken and ragged bodies disappeared below the water.
