Chapter 20: The first feastival of Grannar village

Zira, took down the boar but she was shocked to herself she didn't jave enough time to fully charge her attack to it's maximum power but to her surprise it sliced the giant boar in half and even it's armor fall short from the shear power pf her attack, from what she remembered the Half moon teachnique is just an incomplete technique which is why the user's can only use energy blade to draw power and discharge it in a single move creating a circular s***h tjat could be seen as a half moon! But it's power is only to slice an enemy in half in one move but... what would happen if the enemy is still standing from the blow and all your energy is used up in a single move... that's right there are two possible out come the first is, death and the second is to escape if you still have enough mana to use a scape spell. But, to see that a giant boar that has an armor as thick as a tree being struck down in one move... it seems pretty impossible, this could only happen because I opened all my acupoint... and the mysterious 361st acupoint. This is probably the reason why I killed the boar in a single move, and what's more I really did get more powerful and my speed was comparable to that of beast man now.

As Zira was thinking the guards, Terran, Captain kenny, Eadwig, Nyx and the little girl couldn't believe what they saw but Nyx was one of the most who couldn't believe what he saw, T-that move... there's no doubt... it has sword intent..! but how could a human... no my mom gain sword intent at such a young age without the dao... peering through sword intent is almost impossible... but not completely impossible it seems, but the quality of the sword intent seems a little bit lacking terms of power, it was just a pure body of energy... energy! that's it, it must be because of this mana..! mana, mana... if only I had mana back then, then I could have comprehended all sword intent and combined it all into a singular sword intent using an energy that could be bend by one's own will! well, it's only a theory though... we don't really know what might happen is deferent sword intent is combined to be one... but that's exactly what it meant to master a sword is to become one with sword and make anything you hold the sword, the sword is the heart... and the man is the sovereign, this verse was also in the second half of the Vampire Resonance cultivation method, it also mentioned that while using this cultivation method one would also gain insights of the past users hence memories are also embedded in the Vampire Resonance cultivation method and one can gain insight within. Well... let's stop with that I'm more curious about magic, it also has a floating window as if I'm playing some RPG style game... but instead it felt real and I could really interact with it and saw different status and magic in it... eh... this is too confusing I'll learn that later what I should focus now... is eating..!

The guards, was all relieved to see that the giant boar was taken down easily by Zira, but some thought that the beast was only that strong so they thought it was nothing to be scared about and even boasted their strength showing off of each other but captain Kenny was quite emotional, he knew the wild boar back then as it saved his life on a fateful day when he was exploring the woods back then to gain experience but was attacked by a bunch of Goblins and was saved by the boar, and since then they grew together and helped each other out but on a fateful day, his friend died because the boar attacked him he didn't know the reason why but his friend was killed and he grief as his best friend was also one of his closest friend but to see that his friend was killed his heart came to be as it was now he questioned himself and his trust towards beast was gone as a beast will always be a beast as he thought it should be... but, he clearly saw that the Giant Dawn Tusk Boar stopped before Zira and surrendered her life, Kenny didn't exactly know the reason why but, maybe it was also because that boar once knew a certain human, and that's him.

"You lots... if you think your so strong then why did you not go down with the hunters and helped them fend off..."

The murmuring of the guards suddenly came to stop and some even made a joke.

"Hah! captain, if I jumped down then there will be no beast to s*******r-"

*crakle*

*thud*

The guards were shocked by what Captain kenny, as they heard his fist touched the guards face and a crackling sound as if a bone broke. Meanwhile the guard who was punched by captain Kenny stumbled and loss his balance and crashing to the ground on his back.

"C-captain..!"

"If you have time to joke around then, you should just become a comedian instead of guarding this village"

"Captain you've gone too far as hitting jeffrey-"

*thud*

Another one was yet again punched by Captain Kenny and the guards became quite as they knew they woulr never win even if all of them g**g up on him, Kenny was a veteran at fighting, both beast and people and Eadwig his trusty guy is also good at close combat so they really would have no chance if the two of them fight alongside and so they just shut their mouth and watch their comrade lying in the ground.

"If you've learned your lesson, then don't come back here, because this two are fired from being a guard!"

"well you heard the captain, go and gather the bodys of the wild boars, and separate them by sizes and also don't forget to separate the magical beast..."

"Vice captain Eadwig, what should we do to these two..?"

"Ah them? we don't have time to carry two i***t while cleaning up all this mess... and as you cam see there is still a gian boar over the horizon so... just put them over the gate"

After a while the guards and the hunters meet with each other.

"Captain Kenny, it's me Blackmane"

"Oh, you fought well Blackmane... I'm embarrassed to say this but... we guards didn't do anything at all, and thank you for fending off the beast horde alongside our two heroes, sir Terran and madam Zira"

"hahaha... you don't need to be so polite we all know that even us didn't do much at all... we just took care of the small fries... madam Zira was the only one who fought the stronger beast and took down the King of the west forest..."

"Haha! you don't neee to be so humble my friend, we all saw how your hunter group slay the army of wild boars and low leveled magical beast, it was really a sight to behold, as all of you took care of those many beast with your small numbers"

"Ah..! that was because madam Zira and sir Terran gifted us this sword... a Katana from the east!"

"A Katana... that is really a notorious blade which is rumoured for it's ability to overwhelm it's opponent by both speed and sharpness... no wonder you took care of them-"

"And it was also enchanted by Sir Terran's magic"

"What?! did you just say it was enchanted..? ahem... how many spell's did sir Terran enchant in one sword then..?"

From what I heard most Mage's could barely enchant a spell onto a hard object as it rejects the injection of mana and most of them would result to a poor quality enchantments... this... this is even more amazing..! two... two enchantments in one sword... no wonder your hunter group slaughtered the beast easily then"

"Haha, thank you... but we should also thank madam Zira and sir Terran in this... this sword itself are priceless... a treasure if I may say"

Nyx overheard their conversation and couldn't help but pity this group of mortals, back then he knew inscriptions which can be also applied to boost a sword and make it gain sentience and become a soul weapon, and depending on the materials and refining methods a sword quality or any weapon will be ranked from, rank 1, 2, 3, 4, and from there, there comes the soul weapons which transcended the level of a normal weapon that a mortal can use them from the soul weapon the next were ranked differently, mortal level, earth level, sky level, and a level beyond would where a level eight artifact refiner could only make, a holy weapon but it doesn't end there, there are still divine weapons and the legendary Relics which are made from ancient times that only a few would even manage to refine even if they pour their life energy it would only be at a half level of a real ancient Relic... which I remembered the chaos spear was also one... but sadly I don't have it... that bastard killed me with it and now... meh, it's not really that bad I can restart a new world and maybe gain a peaceful life. While Nyx was deep within his own thoughts the hunters and the litte girl was also always besides him and never leaved his side and Terran was of course couldn't even move for a few more steps and just watched at the gate and soon enough he collapsed and the guards nearby helped him and brought him to the guards barracks and let him rest and even put mana stone near him for his body to absorb.

After a while Nyx noticed that something was behind him and saw the little girl, huh... I forgot about her, she must also be curious about that giant boar as she was shouting and even supported my mother to kill the giant boar... well I should take her to have a look.

"Hey do you want a magical beast meat roasted meat..?"

The little girl pulled Nyx's clothes as he was about the walk and said.

What the heck am I saying, I'm a four hundred and fifty year old man being a friend with a little girl... haiz, just far have I fallen... but still, I should make friends so I'll have someone backing me up someday... if I ever go to school I don't want to be bullied again... it'll be traumatizing, w-what..? did I just said all of that... that's clearly not me I'm a ttancended being... yet here I am wallowing at my past lives..., The little hirl however hasn't meet such a good kid that treat a girl like her, because most of the time they get bullied because they don't have a family and no one will ever care for them, that was what she thought but to jear Nyx say that she was he's first friend, she unexpectedly happy as if... as if she had meet her soulmate. The girl just blushed and assumed things on her own, and Nyx saw the girl acting shy and cute and couldn't help but be adored yet again, Hmmm... maybe I should show this people how to cook and let this little girl have a taste of what a modern recipe taste like... hehehe.

Not too long Nyx and the little girl also followed behind and saw Zira cutting chunks and chunks of meats and giving it to the guards, the size of the chunks was at the very least one meter in every cuts but it wasn't mearly enough to deplete the giant mound of meat. The little couldn't help but drool over and made her stomach growl.

"Mama, can I also have a chunk of meat... my friend is also hungry and I also want to taste what a magical beast meat taste likes..."

"Hmmm..? do you even know how to cook..?"

"uh... no, but my friend here does..!"

"Your friend..? oh, you already made friends huh good for you son you should start making friends so you'll not be left out"

Zira nodded as if she knew a certain someone who had little to no friends in the past, meanwhile Terran woke up and sneezed, *yawn* the sun's already setting huh... how long was I out for..?

Meanwhile Nyx winked at the girl as if telling her to pretend and just go along with him, Nyx then whispered to her.

"hey just go along... I know your also hungry... hahaha"

"listen, look at that giant meat... do you think the village alone could eat that in one day... and plus my Mom hunted this giant boar down and also my father helped so by the rule of the adventurers guild any adventurers hunt will only be taken a little percentage of 20% in exchange for their freedom on their loot... so don't worry that much my mother and father are adventurers back then so this should still be valid to them... probably"

"auh... o-okay then, I-I also just want to taste meat at least once in my life..."

The little girl then nodded and looked at Zira, Zira could see how the little girl looked like she was wearing clothes the seemed clean but it has holes and she could also see that lifeless look on her face, she was saddened by her current state was at.

"Hey Nyx, don't let a girl work for you even if your friend... help her and don't do naughty things to her alright~? hehe"

The little girl couldn't say anything but just blush, but then the Elder came to them and took a look for a while, and finally said something.

"Hmmm... this much meat would even feed us for the coming one or two months... I decided, today shall be the day that the Grannar village will have a feastival to be held as a thanks to all the heroes that fought against a beast horde."
