Chapter 17:Village Feast

"Hmmm... a nest huh... so what do you think is the beast who is leading them..?"

"From the foot prints it seems to be a giant boar..."

"Well that's a bad news, well I hope this mage Terran can handle it"

Kenny directed his gaze to Terran as if he was hostile towards him.

"Ahem, captain don't be so rude... My name's Eadwig Hunter, I'm the vice captain of this ragtag Guards at the Grannar village, let me apologize for the rudeness of our captain earlier please my crude apology sir Terran..."

"Hahaha, it's all right I also agree what he said... if only Zira was born and raised on a much powerful kingdom then maybe she could reach new heights that none of us could reach in our lifetime"

Terran looked at Zira blankly and didn't say anything, he was regretting pulling Zira down with him, he thought he was the one limiting him. But Nyx saw through his father's heart, I know that feeling very well... my mom died raising such a trash like me... useless even to the end of my life, but... I reached new heights through being reborn in the Ten thousand immortal worlds I learned how to kill like water... if I don't drink water like a normal people I'd die, just like that it came to me... killing was necessary in order to live through that cruel world..! Terran had a serious look to his face while facing Kenny straight to his eyes and asked him in a very serious tone.

I saw it, a young boy who had his family taken from him and when he came back his look with the same determination didn't change but... his ideals is scary... scary enough that he made an arch mage kneel before him..!"

"C-captain..! A gigantic boar was spotted 5 miles from here... From what the scout reported it seems it's gonna reach here after 15-30 minutes... and-"

"W-what gigantic boar... and what's more of it..m say it vice captain Eadwig..!"

"I-It seems to have brought a new wave magical beast... at the very least there are three hundred to five hundred and gigantic boar... is heading here at an alarming speed... at this rate we..."

"We might be wiped out..."

Terran walked closer to captain Kenny at looked at him with a threatening tone Terran asked again.

"Can you say that again to me..?"

Terran was angered by captain Kenny's remarks despite Zira helping them, what an ungrateful bastard this guy is. That's what Nyx thought.

"Aren't you afraid to lose your wife and son..?"

Terran gritted his teeth in anger but he calmed down and replied normally, of I am afraid to lose them... but that won't happen as I'm still breathing.

"Hahaha... how manly but, I'm not panicking by the report it self... but because that gigantic boar must the King of the east forest... I saw it before... when I was young I-I, It killed my best friend and I... I was the one who raised it, it came to visit me from time to time back then but... it suddenly disappeared so I looked for him... And what I only saw was... was his menacing shadow... a shadow that could trample through tree's as if nothing..."

"So you were not afraid of the giant boar..?"

"H-huh..? what are you talking about..."

Terran looked captain Kenny straight to his eyes, Terran was quite tall and his build was also not shabby he had muscle that one could see he has been working for it from day to day, £You are just hunted by your own guilt, so don't compare us to a weak a*s like you, who are you to judge our lives do you even have the qualification to say that to all of us..?"

"W-what... W-weak ass..."

"How dare you say that..!"

Captain Kenny was now acting like a trapped rat at pulled out his sword and looked at Terran, but when they meet eyes he looked Terran like a giant barbarian, he felt suffocated he unconsciously trembled from Terran's presence.

Nyx however was surprised he felt it, his father unconsciously used divine sense to suppress captain Kenny! How is this possible a normal mortal that didn't even cultivated or know a cultivation method achieved divine sense..? but it's only at the preliminary state half step before the completion of the divine sense... well this might also be because of the existence of magic itself, this makes it more and more exciting to know more about magic.

"What's wrong captain Kenny..?"

The space trembled a little bit and soon a gigantic magic circle appeared out of thin air, the smooth breeze around the gate suddenly became stronger and stronger by the minute. Nyx was fascinated once again, b cause now that he saw it clearly it looked no more than an array at the level of the Mastery level, he could felt it, even though it resembled an array it's power was above the power of normal Mastery level array, array's were normally ranked at, entry level, mastery level, grand mastery level, master level, grand master through the grand completion level that only a handful of people could achieve in their whole life time. Nyx was only at the grand mastery level because array's could only be used when certain conditions were meet such as having enough resources refining array flags or using certain plants or a diverse biome that contains sufficient QI to activate that certain array that an array master has made to that certain area... but to see this sight is even more mind blowing..! A mere mortal could actually achieve to be an array master without the use of array flags, this is simple just a miracle..! this world and the ten thousand immortal worlds might be related to each other, their might've been a reason why I was sent here I need to find out the truth about my reincarnation.

Terran focused, without chanting he gathered an absurd amount of mana in the surrounding area, the wind was now blowing harder than ever it was getting stronger and stronger the magic circle now was glowing much more brighter a brilliant light that could ease the soul of the crazy captain, Kenny saw this sight before him, he couldn't believe that a mage of this caliber could be living in this remote town, at first he was disdainful towards Terran and pitied on Zira that he married a man that he thought was a bother to her strength but to his surprise he was not just some random man Zira married. He was a fill fledged Mage.

Meanwhile

Terran was having a problem controlling such a huge amount of mana and his magic circle was trouble and was sweating very much, however Nyx noticed this and guided Terran's flow of mana and stabilized his chaotic flow of mana and helped him creating a more intricate magic circle, No matter a normal mortal is still a human... and me a once transcendent being who achieved a level that only a few mortals could ever reach in their life time... hahaha, don't worry father my soul is also pretty strong... I'm also a vampire after all and vampire is a special being between a living and a dead soul, an undead. The stronger the soul the stronger a vampire can be after being resurrection if a vampire dies. And me a being who has achieve the Nirvana soul state, a state which the soul can create a soul avatar in which contains the cultivators golden core which can be used to resurrect ones flesh and body and the cost of the golden core which would be used to create a body but... ones cultivation would restart to the beginning but... there is also another advantage other than resurrection, you can change your body's structure or change your gender- Ahem, let's not talk about that... that didn't even come to my mind while I achieved the Nirvana soul state... but as I was saying one could make his body structure to ones prefer state or have a body that has a unique psyche for example, draconic divine body... a body that has the power of a demonic beast or a divine beast that relates to a dragon... to be exact I meet a fellow who had a drake draconic bloodline which he can use his soul avatar to take for that of a drake and transform his body at half drake half human which he gains almost a hundred... no for a normal human he could gain that in tens of thousands of time the power of a normal human. But well that's what I'm saying but...

Nyx looked at his father sweating, but he just hold his father's back and transferred his soul power like he did back then on Zira and adjusted the chaotic flow of mana from Terran which was very easy for him but the only problem was, Nyx was lacking the right amount of mana to support his father at maintaining the Array/magic circle, he now was in deep trouble if this load of mana collapse then not only the two of them but a whole half a kilometer would be completely obliterated to the ground..!
