Chapter 73: Playing with death

"Huh..?" Paul looked back and noticed the beast man tribe didn't move and looked hesitant.

"What are you doing? You should come with us, sir Helbert already told us to follow him" Paul said with a dumb expression.

"B... But... but is it alright..? is it alright for us beast man to come up with you master's friends..." The Raccoon beast girl said.

"Don't worry it might seem very bad but I believe Nyx already had plan... after all he was chosen by a god and he is quite friendly and, and a pretty good friend..!" Paul said with a smile on his face his aura made the beast man tribes to believe after all they weren't treated as slaves but even granted freedom and had a home to sleeo and warm clothes to wear.

Elena and Flora heard Paul's honest remark to Nyx and they felt very happy and heard Nyx's friend say this and what Nyx has shown them so far was really the same as Paul describe he is good to them and friendly but this time Nyx need their help and they must meet with him

The beast man then ran and a particular small silver haired beast girl also ran amongst them and blushed as he heard the words of Paul and looked at the Plateau.

After a few minutes of running, Paul, Helbert and the others reached the giant stairs.

"What the heck is this..?!!" Paul shouted as he saw a metallic staircase that spans up to about three hundred meters.

'How can Nyx do this..? He is too powerful!! Making a staircase out of metal is many times more harder than normal earth magic!'

"This is really quite something a giant staircase made out of full iron must need a very large mana in order to create it... and creation magic is much harder than normal magic spells..." Helbert said as he caresses his black with white hair beard.

"This is trully hard, I know that nyx has a very special earth element and awakened a metal attribute... meanwhile I got my dark iron rock from a beast crystal that we managed to defeat and managed to get a special attribute earth element the mana it uses has gone to two times more than normal Nyx should also have used more mana than normal, and in order to create such gigantic staircase he needs to be at least at the Tenth circle or an Arch mage at the very least..." Terran was almost speechless whe he saw in front of his own eyes just what Nyx had made using magic.

Elena and Flora was also very shocked hearing from Terran who was a seventh circle mage say they were very convinced.

"Ahem... it, it is quite a feat but we must now go to the top of this giant stairs..." Helbert cleared his throat and reminded everyone of their goal.

"R-right... hehe" Paul laughed and scratched his head after realising the situation

He was mesmerized by how much power Nyx had and he also wanted to have enough power to help Nyx and now Nyx's mother was dead and he can't even do anything.

The others looked at thw stairs from afar and saw how majestic it was the radiant glow it radiated because of the sun made it even more mysterious and appealling.

And so Terran ran through the stairs like bridge that extended to the top of the top of the plateau Terran used his wind element and ran through the stairs with ease but he noticed that Paul and the other beast man didn't have that much stamina to keep up with them and casted them wind trail to speed up their movement and lighten up their body.

"What's happening..?" A beast man asked.

"I-I don't know..." The other beast man was taken aback as they saw their body glower mysteriously but didn't felt anything other than their body was lighten up a bit.

"Don't worry, sir Terran just casted you wind magic that makes your speed doubles and make your body lighter" Elena ran past them at a steady pace and told the ignorant beast man about magic.

"Oh... so that's how it is..." A Raccoon beast man with a petite body said with surprised.

"Then we must catch up to them soon..!"

Paul was also in the last the same with the beast man meanwhile Helbert was already a Grandmaster level knight and his physical strength far surpasses those of normal human beings he was able to keep up with Terran that ran as fast a car could and can reach the top of the plateau within under a minute using his wind spell.

The group finally got up and the first one to saw Nyx was Terran

Terran saw Nyx sitting in a very strange way, it was like he was meditating and mana was gathering around him at a very fast speed that even mana was almost visible to the human eyes.

"Nyx..?" Terran asked as had no idea what happened to Nyx.

Helbert followed and after a few seconds Elena, Flora and the others arrive but Paul and the other beast man were almost out of breath and was sweating heavily.

The group didn't do anything and just watched what Terran would do next but it seems he was also waiting for something to happen.

"Welcome... I am the master of Nyx, you needn't be worried... he is just meditating and gathering mana from the sorounding area to replenish his almost dried up mana" An eerie and mysterious voice suddenly sounded and all of them was shock they haven't sense a presence even when they used all their natural hightened sense

The Forest elves and Dark elves who has a keen hearing didn't noticed a thing as well the beast man tribe who was known to have the best sense of smell and keen hearing didn't noticed a thing.

"Who are you..?" Terran asked as sweat ran down towards his chest from his cheeks as he hold Zira.

"Master..!" Helbert bowed and kneeled like a knight suddenly and Terran and the others didn't know a thing about what's happening.

"Oh... Helbert, it's good to see you my old friend..."

*Swoosh*

Suddenly a portal cracked open as the space slightly trembled and a dark portal opened and a dark shodow figure emerge from the said portal as it's hands reach out to the portal and it's right foot step out of the small cramp portal and a familiar figure showed up.

"You..!?" Terran shouted as his eyes widened.

'So hi is Nyx's master... he was the one who saved us and even left us some mysterious ancient martial arts, I tried using measuring magic with my eyes and saw his mana but it was nothing out of the ordinary this guy has quite a lot of mana comparable to a fifth circle mage but I can't even sense what kind of existence he is... and portal magic is only accessible to eight circle mage, and he was able to open it with ease and was more stable than normal and what's more I can feel another type of energy the same with those people in the east use... spirit arts... this energy is even much pure than Zira's..!'

"Yes it's me, Sir Terran..."

"Ahh... thank you for giving those ancient martial arts sir..!" Terran said and bowed carefully with Zira on his arms.

"Haha, those low level martiak arts? Don't even sweat it, now let's go to the small palace that the Dark elves and Nyx has made... and I'm gonna tell you all about what's going to happen and our plan" The shadowy black figure then walked in a casual manner but no matter how Terran looked at this shadowy figures footsteps he can feel that space is slightly trembling but whenever he saw this black figure walk ut seems he is moving a meter at every little steps and is going further and further than them

Helbert also saw this and tried to walk faster but no matter how he walked he doesn't get closer Elena and Flora also tried their best but they were left in shock that they haven't even noticed but suddenly all of them were now in front of the stone palace that the Dark elves created.

"What..?!" Terran swallowed buckets of water as he couldn't believe what just happened.

'What happened..? we were at least about two hundred meters away and me and Helbert were the closest to this mysterious guy... but we weren't able to caught up with him and only ran towards him, but suddenly we are now her in front of this rock palace... is this... is this what a real god is capable of? It clearly isn't an illusion I can easily use search magic and detection magic to know and show my surroundings but it didn't showed anything other than a slight fluctuation in the ground but saw nothing..!'

Helbert was aslo speechless there were really many things that the inheretance of Nyx hasn't been shown yet.

'This is just like those from the Rankers in the Towers of gods... they have a strange movement technique but this is more advance not only can he move one meter at a single step but can also make us do so...'

Elena and the Forest elves were also so shocked but one of their comrades has slightly seen what was happening.

"Miss Elena... I think I knoe what happened..." A weak looking girl with a black and pointy ears came closer to Elena.

"Oh..? You saw it..?" The soul clone of Nyx laughed as he also felt it this girl has a strong soul power and can see his spirit arrays.

"Uh... Y-yeah..!" The elf with black hair was surprised and panicked for a moment and hid behind Elena.

Meanwhile Nyx was finally done absorbing mana but his body still felt a little sore all over but he can now freely move again.

"Urgh... Master, why don't we all go in I felt my body is about to break anytime..." I then started a conversation to break the silence.

Nyx then walked forward and everyone of them didn't noticed but Nyx was still meditating but suddenly he was also draghed over here by his own master they were all shocked that even Paul who was known to ask every single time about what's happening didn't even notice that Nyx was behind all of them.

"Don't worry, what he used is a spirit array... it's like a magic circle but is different at the same time if you all want to know then we better get inside first" I then got to the small staircases and got to the doorless palace that wasn't even finished yet.

The rest was very shock at the moment and looked at their friends with dumb look and the shadowy figure also walked after Nyx as his father Terran walked inside and soon every single on of them walked inside the elves was sitting near a corner while the beastman tribes were all together close to the forest elves but they were embarrassed to get closer to a higher status race the Dark elves were also near the corner and gathered around and just watch and listened as what was about to happen.

"Ahem... now get your wifes dead body in this jade snow coffin..." The shadowy figure cleared his throat and extended his foggy right hand and a seemingly ice blue colored coffin suddenly emerged and the entire palace with a hundred meters size went cold in an instant Nyx and his master were both in the center of the seemingly big palace as well as Terran and Helbert

The jade snow coffin emitted a very strong cold aura that doesn't seem to exist in this world Terran was even taken aback as well as Helbert.

'What is this ridiculous cold aura..!' Terran asked as he took a few steps back.

"This is a jade snow coffin, it emits a very strong cold aura called Yin energy Yin energy exist in our body normally as well as Yang energy, Yang is the opposite of Yin energy which us males has loads of amount in our body that's why I asked the females that in this room to stay away from us and circulate their mana or use their best spells to protect themselves but we males can easily stand in front of this jade snow coffin unlike womens that has loads of of Yin QI which can lead to cold poison... but enough of than other than Yin poison this jade snow coffin can preserve a dead body and even strengthen it using it's Yin QI a Divine Yin psyche back then some Nascent soul cultivators use this technique to create such body than can easily absorb the energy emitted from the moon which is the opposite of the sun energy Yang, the Yin QI and easily strengthen themselves and once they got such body they are immune to most poison and even the dangerous cold poison which can affect anyone in long term... but not everyone can do so, Jade snow coffin is extremely hard to find it can only be found mostly in extreme cold places that has bathed in the moonlight for hundreds of thousands of years but not even a fist size can be created... your in luck Terran, your son happens to be my disciple... Nascent soul cultivators usually prepare a puppet for their Nascent soul to possess in order to preserve their soul and put their body inside the jade snow coffin and after a few years and secret spirit arrays the body then will transform into a more perfect body for Yin cultivation the person who has a Divine Yin psyche will have a pale white skin and their skin will be as hard as this Jade snow coffin and then the revival process happens the Nascent soul will then prepare a rank eight pill called Life revival pill which can make a dead body refill it's life force and is ready for the Nascent soul to revive back into and a new and powerful person is brought back to life with this technique... but not even any Nascent soul cultivators can find a rank eight pills don't even think about the Jade snow coffin but with this... Terran, there is a chance to revive Zira your wife as her soul was sealed in the Spirit capturing pagoda..."

"Is-is there really such a thing..? Why haven't I heard of such things in the thousands of years of history in the continent of Eden I only have heard that gods can bring back the dead but not their life..." Terran was hesitant to put Zira's dead body on the jade snow coffin.

"Don't make me laugh... hahaha, sorry for that... you said there are gods here..? then why haven't I seen one in thousands of years and what's more reviving someone is easy if you can understand the root of the human which is the soul as for actually reviving someone there is a special law which is called the Law of Life if one can reach it's highest level then reviving the dead and recreating their memories are the same as reviving someone but the problem is the revived person is not the original but just a copy but if one still has even a remnant of his/her soul then there is a possibility to fully revive that certain person but it's not like it's easy to comprehend and achived the highest level of the Law of life if it was then there woul not be a dead person in this world..." The soul clone then composed itself whilr explaning to Terran.

"Law... law of life..? what is that? I haven't heard of any magic such as that..." Terran was clueless and looked at Helbert but Helbert was also clueless and shrugged his shoulders.

"This... how is this possible..! every human has a set limit of mana and not every human has afinity of elements some human will even be harmed if they are weak against some elements... but this... is this the power of Law..?!" Terran's eyes went wide and swallowed a bucket of saliva as he looked at Zira and remember what Nyx told him.

'There is a chance to revive Zira... with this power why would he even bother talking with me if he had ulterior motive...'

"Let's stop with this small talks..." Nyx's soul clone then moved in a very strange way that even Terran who was in front of it only saw a shadow before realising that Zira wasn't in his hands anymore but was in the hands of Nyx's soul clone as it hold Zira's dead body delicately

The soup clone then put Zira's dead body to rest in the cold Yin filled energy Jade snow coffin and put a mysterious barrier on the top sealing off the Yin filled Jade snow coffin and Zira's dead body inside it.

"What is this..?" Terran was a little hesitant and saw an energy like barrier sealing of the Jade snow coffin.

"Oh this..? It's called an array, it's a sealing array used for sealing Yin energy and will herlp sustain Zira's dead body... you shouldn't worry about it too much we had a bigger problem were facing right now Terran learn from my disciple, I don't have too much time left in this world this is only my remnant soul and will soon dissappear but before that happen we need to create a new system for the normal people to learn and not be bullied by the strong in this world the strong preys the weak and in order to change that we need a strong army and leader to lead it and your one of the pillar of this plan... I hope you can listen to me and learn about the mysteries of this world" The soul clone then tay Terrans shoulders.

"Nyx gather everyone around I need to tell them and ask their permission... I hope you also think about this Terran, what happened to your wife might also happen to the people around you if you don't want that to happen then please believe in me like you believe in your son... your son Nyx is a genius beffiting the inheretance of a god so I choose him and that god also choos him" The soul clone then secretly said this to Terran as he walked towards the elves.

Meanwhile Nyx was embarrassed by praising himself through his soul clone as he watch from the side lines.

'Ahem..! Don't go too far! and get to the main point we need to gather more money, my mom's revival is vital and we need all the herbs for creating the Revival pill but we don't need that right now and don't even say we can revive her right now... I still need to reach the Nirvana realm which I will transcend beyond the level of human realm and will have the ability to recreate my own body using my own blood essence and use this to recreate my mother's vitality but for now we need to develop a strong sect and for that we need the people, the elves might not even stay with us but some of them might choose to stay we need to create a sect and a proper village and while we develope our own power and village we'll infiltrate them using us as acting as students in their Grand Magus Academy and while we do that I can use this as a means to learn of their customs and how this world work and spread my influence as I make our village prosper and create a gathering network... say this to them but don't make it so detailed so they won't be shock or cower as a human heart is weak so will other intelligent creatures such as them'

As Nyx instructed to his soul clone while everyone was gathering Nyx was also trying his best to compose himself this time he was not like his past self that knew nothing about the mysteries of the world and this time he wanted to enjoy his life when he found out how heart warming it was to have a normal life and a loving family and having friends but it seems it wasn't enough his destiny is to become stronger than his past life that was what was ingrave in Nyx's mind at this moment as he clenched his fist and wanting the elves and the beastman tribe to listen to his request and stay with him.

After a few minutes of talking with Nyx's soul clone suddenly a pleading voice sounded in Nyx's head.

'Helllllllppppp..! Nyx... help me, I'm being overwhelmed by their questions..! I might just as well dissappear from all this kids questions...'

"Huh..?" I wasn't paying attention as I was wishing and praying in my head that this elves and beastman tribes will stay with me at least half of them would but I didn't think thay my plan in introducing my master would work very well.

*murmur*

The elves and the beastman tribes heard what we just talked about and felt the immense cold energy but didn't know what it was and heard them talking about reviving something and the mysterious power of Dharma or Law and even showed them five elements at the same time.

Of course Nyx who was very excited about this news wanted to grasp this oppotunity and get them to his side so he hurriedly butted in.

"Ahem..! If you want to know more then, why don't you join us? I have a plan as well as master we wanted to create a sect where everyone can learn all this things in a systematically way and cultivate to be stronger and protect those who you want to protect and let's all be a family... how about you listen to our request..?" I then scratched my head awkwardly as I butted in while my father and Helbert were also listening as well as the forest elves and darks elves who were closely listening and almost like a child that would like to hug their teacher when listening to an interesting story.

"Master... what is a sect..? and... and being a family..?" Elena questioned Nyx as she instantly blushed thingking about the family part.

"Master..? this kid..?" Terran asked as looked at Helbert but Helbert just cleared his throat and covered his mouth as he looked at Nyx with a sweat in his face.

"Uh... that let me explain..!"

Paul was very surprised he didn't know that the one they were calling master was Nyx and Terran punched Nyx's head thinking that he took advantage of the innocent race of elves.

Elves was known to protect mother nature and not all humans know them very well as some only hears them in hearsay because they live in the ancient great forest of Kruna which was where the their ancient god Kruna Rion who made the entire forest and made them inherit his godly magic which is why elves had a very good magical affinity and has a better mana capacity than humans.

Elena saw Terran tried to beat Nyx but Flora tried to stop Terran but remembers he was her master's father Elena panicked after seeing Nyx getting beat up but somehow managed to gather up her courage and talked to Terran about what happen from Nyx buying pets but ended up buying them and almost buying all the magical beast in a shady corner and Nyx told Terran with everyone that he was the one who created the rumoured super elixir that was very popular with mercenary and adventurers and even established knights who was known for their pride but still bought this kind of shady elixir in the shady black market auction house but after explaining that it was all his master's plan Terran calmed down and apologized to Nyx and his soul clone but his soul clone was not doing very good at acting like a master but was also flustered as he was also the same with Nyx but with this he can finally start his plan in creating a sect.
