Hehehe, this two is right... master will protect us and as long as we give him this treasure then I'm sure will be given new power.

"Yeah, the two of you are right let's leave this damn place and go back to the Inn"

"Yes, Baron"

"But what about this guy..?"

"Just leave that fool! he dare to humiliate the power master gave him... then it's natural for him to be punished like that!"

"B-but..."

The Baron looked at the other mage who was insisting on bringing the hunter along and warned him if he continues this then he'll gonna be the one lying on the ground instead. The mage couldn't help but take a huge gulp of his saliva and trembled.

"A-alright Baron, we'll follow your choice"

Nyx noticed that this guys are acting strange... so he focused his attention to the man that was beat up by his father with a single transfer of mana and the man was down, Nyx couldn't help but think, Well... mortals will always be still mortals. Being unable to stop the mana invading his body and successfully blocked his meridians and his mana stopped circulating, what a fool hahaha.

Nyx then used his divine sense and directed it to the black armored man and scanned his body and tried to uncover the secret that the other mage was worried about, it didn't take long for him to notice that a familiar energy was flowing from the meridians of this man.

What's this..? this isn't mana... but it feels so familiar, it couldn't be QI right..? hahaha that's a good news if it is... wait, I'm sure this energy is pretty chaotic and when I tried to invade this mans body with my divine sense it has the property of invading other types of energy as well... wait this couldn't be right..?

Nyx then once again check the energy that the man was storing inside of him. Nyx was not very shock to find out what it was as he was already familiar with it and finally knew what it was.

So those guys are referring to their master... a demon! Hahaha who knew a familiar race would also be here? haiz, how nostalgic... but anyway this is dangerous if my father still keep injecting his mana then... his mana will be influenced by the demonic QI... errr, or I should say Demonic mana? demonic QI has the ability to invade other types of energy and expand it's demonic QI quantity just by invading a cultivators body... such places exist in the immortal world such as the nether realm which the demon race lives in and every inch of that place reeks of demonic QI only cultivator of the level of void transformation can freely roam that place... as for the lower cultivation they'll have time limit as to how their QI can resist the demonic QI. I must warn my father and properly seal this guy's demonic mana... But how do I do that?? I can't just explain that to my father now can I..? But if I don't do anything then... or I can just casually walk till that fat dude is gone and talk to my father while placing a seal to that guy... welp I think that's good of a plan.

Nyx then waited for the Baron to leave and it was not long before that happened and came closer to Terran. Paul and the other kids noticed Nyx was leaving them behind and just followed behind him, of course noticed this and felt somewhat hilarious.

This is like déjà vu... back then a scrawny kid and his sister followed me after I rescued them from the onslaught of a murderer... That was a sad scene... their parents died before their eyes and in their village only them and four family survived all the four family was grateful that I saved them but, their children couldn't help but resent us cultivators... but the two kids wanted to become one, haiz how nostalgic... I wonder how they are doing now..?

Nyx smirked and thought, he really genuinely wanted to help his family and all his friends, but in order to do that he needs time and that won't be happening anytime soon. But still he can impart his knowledge to his father and mother and to his friends. Nyx then picked up a rock that was on the ground.

Nyx then got closer to Terran but he already made a magic circle using the rock as the medium and the the magic circle itself is the core of the demon vanquishing array with this he just need to drop it at the person he wanted to use it from and then use his divine sense to control the array and activate it when it's done. Nyx just did this and successfully throw the rock at the guy and Terran couldn't help laughing when he saw Nyx do this but Nyx had another idea and wasn't just simply angry at the man and trew the rock randomly out of anger.

"Nyx are you angry?"

"Of course..! that pig tried to stole our- I mean the village's hard earned meat..."

Nyx was quite upset at this fact and the fact that the villagers are so docile when it comes to nobles and just let them take what they want... even if their survival is at stake. The elder came closer to Terran and Zira was also quite angry at what just happened but his husband took care of it without a hassle.

"Thank you... I truly am thankful for all the help we've recieved from you Terran..."

"Oh ah... no need, if you have to thank someone then thank this little brat that gave me the idea to counter back that asshole..!"

Terran patter Nyx's head and the elder remembered there was a familiar small voice who said a certain things earlier, he couldn't believe it was Nyx the son of Terran.

"Well-well, like father like son... both are quite smart in their younger age"

"HAHAHA! you still remember that elder..?"

"Of course, of course who wouldn't..? you cheated a merchant who was supposedly the one who was cheating the people and almost made him go bankrupt"

"Hahaha, elder that was long long ago"

"Father... I never knew you would do such things, to even steal from a black hearted man and made him go bankrupt... I wonder who of the two of you is the real black hearted merchant?"

Nyx teased father a little bit and the elder couldn't help but laugh at this, it was so true. To even cheat on a black hearted man.

"HAHAHA! Really, you both are so the same... at that young age I remember you were wondering around and first came to this village and with a talent you were taken to the Grand Magus Academy of the Eden continent... I'm sure your son would not be short of that kind of talent!"

The elder was holding his back as if it was aching and still laughed, meanwhile Terran was quite proud to hear that his past was still remembered and to say at the very least Nyx would also be like him, he felt sad at the idea of him imagining his true lineage. Terran was a descendant of one of the ancient clans that is now scattered around the world and each of the clan represent the different region and city's and Terran's clan represents the sin of Pride the Strom Family which innately has the two elements of wind and lightning but Terran had wind and earth element hence he was banished.
