Chapter 7

1227 Words
The next day had passed since Sally and Bunny slept together to chase nightmares away from each other. No, they had not been holding each other, they slept close together next to each other. Neither of them had any idea that Rose knew all about that she was secretly seeing everything. Bunny was pretty quiet today. The reason for that was that he was surprised at how in love he felt in Sally's arms during the embrace. He didn't dare say anything about it. Sally was also quite surprised but she did her best to behave normally, although she kept wondering to herself about the dream she was in with Bunny as a teenager. She was also always in shock at how she looked like a teenager. Her hair was long for sure and her body looked different as well. But Bunny... He looked handsome, which Sally would never forget. When she woke up, she noticed that Bunny was no longer sleeping next to her. Where was he? Then she heard cooking downstairs and also voices. They were the boys and Rose. How long had she been asleep? Sally sat up and stretched herself before crawling out of Bunny's bed. She walked with her bare feet through the corridor until she reached the stairs. She did not hesitate and went straight down to the kitchen where the boys were eating and drinking. The kitchen looked friendly with a box of cereal in the middle of the table. Bunny and Max were eating while Rose washed the dishes and they were all talking while the boys were eating. What Sally noticed was that the boys would only talk when their mouths were empty. They knew that talking with open mouths was rude while eating. Rose looked over her shoulder and smiled. "Good morning, Sally! Did you sleep well?" Sally couldn't help but smile shyly. Rose's laughter was very warm and out of love. "Yes, Rose." Bunny knew immediately why she slept well. Since they slept next to each other, they thankfully no longer had nightmares for the night. They had chased them away. Bunny couldn't help but be speechless with the emotions he was feeling and even blushed. What if Rose had seen them after all? He was unsure but he could swear there was someone observing them. There was no one else in the house except Rose and Max. In the beginning, Bunny had been a fan of sleeping, but since the death of his parents, it had long disappeared and been displaced by nightmares he got almost every night. He also didn't even know where his twin sister was and Bunny could only hope that she was alive since they had both escaped. But from what do you ask? Bunny was startled out of his mind after Rose spoke to the children. "You guys can go free whenever you're ready, is that okay?" "Yes," Sally and Max said simultaneously as Bunny nodded quickly. Hopefully, no one had seen him daydreaming, right? * Sally was now going around the house while she had just been in the garden with Rose and the boys. The garden looked really great with a small playground and a big pool to go with it. Sally called all three of them lucky. Even though Sally had a big garden too, indeed, she wished to belong to Rose's family rather than her parents. Rose was sitting in the living room and Sally passed through the room toward the stairs. In the middle of the stairs, Sally stopped her steps because she heard something. And it sounded like... music? From where was it coming? From upstairs certainly, but in what room? She couldn't help but be very curious that she silently pursued it. She used her ears to look for the way it was coming from and saw a door that was almost closed, but slightly open, perfect for peaking in or observing. She looked at them and saw that it was the playroom where the boys were often busy with Sally. It was Sally's favorite room she had ever seen in Rose's house. Max was playing the guitar, trying, at least. The boy was doing his best while his eyes were on Bunny the whole time, pretending to sing on a plastic stick he was holding. Actually, the boys didn't even sound bad. They were the real performers! Sally's eyes began to sparkle at the show the boys were doing. What Sally didn't even notice was that Rose was standing behind her, also peaking and she was fully impressed by their talent and wondered why they had hidden it. * After the show ended, Sally and Rose appeared. Bunny and Max gasped with shock that they had appeared and they did not know they had been observed. Both boys stood silent as statues and were also silent as mice as if they were hiding from a cat. Sally wanted to look at Rose in surprise, but she soon forgot this because the boys' show was now more of a cool situation. Why had they hidden that from everyone, especially from Rose? Sally and Rose looked at the boys with smiles, who now even looked surprised by the situation. Max nuzzled the guitar against his chest and belly as Bunny's grip on the plastic stick tightened, but he was not angry. After the boys said nothing, finally Rose took the floor. "You guys are really awesome! Why did you guys hide it?" The boys said nothing and looked away down the street, while Bunny's ears were pinned down to the floor. Since they didn't say anything, Rose watched them softly while Sally looked worried. Were they scared? Worried? Rose knelt in front of the boys while Sally observed. Rose hugged them and talked about how wonderful they were, like real superstars. But after Rose let go of them, Bunny said something that totally surprised Rose and Sally. "I and Max were talking to each other and... we want to be superstars." He swallowed as he felt full of nervousness. Rose and Sally looked at him with wide eyes. Sally was unsecured from such a situation and Rose looked as if she had never been in such a situation before. Rose then had many questions on her mind. Bunny and Max are still so young and small, like Sally. The three are still growing. Yes, there existed celebrities who have been known since when they were children. Rose's favorite idols have been known since when they were children. She was getting anxious. They had to go to school to study and finish their studies just like Sally. She wanted the children to live a normal life with no problems and not be full of stress with all those work schedules. Rose looked away for a moment and wanted to say "no" with a sigh until she looked back at the eyes of the boys. They had cute expressions with puppy dog eyes in them for Rose to see. Rose sighed and then looked into the boys' eyes. "Very well then. But I will train you. Is that okay?" Rose training the boys would unfortunately not last long... The boys looked proudly at each other and gave each other a high five because they had succeeded, to which Rose rolled her eyes and both girls smiled.
