It had been a few days since Sally had spent time with the boys. She missed them terribly and wanted nothing but to spend more time with them, even though it had only been a few days. She felt very loved in Bunny's arms as she danced with him. She wanted to be back in his arms.
Sally was busy studying in her room and she couldn't stop thinking about the moments at the ball. After the ball was done, Sally told Lara and Rose everything that was going on, especially about their strange behavior. Both women were immediately concerned and Rose immediately called the police to ask if they would investigate what was actually going on. At first, the police did nothing, but Rose did not give up and eventually, the police decided to listen and did what Rose asked. Their job was to help and protect the people.
Sally was studying and she decided to take a break until Lara came in without knocking. Sally was startled and looked at her until she saw
That Lara had been...crying? Sally became concerned and immediately went to her until Lara hugged Sally tightly. Sally was dumbfounded but hugged her back. "What is it?"
Lara moved away and held Sally's shoulders, watching her with her own red puffy eyes as she wept. "Oh, Sally ... I'm terribly sorry."
Sally looked at her questioningly. Why did Lara say that? She didn't know what was going on... "Why are you sorry? I don't understand."
Lara pressed her hand gently against Sally's cheek. "Honey, listen to me, it's about the boys."
Sally was startled and felt her heart stop beating for several seconds. What was going on? What was going on with the boys? She was so scared because she loved them so much.
"They're in the hospital."
Sally couldn't believe what she was hearing. Were they in the hospital? Since when? Since today. Sally then immediately asked to go there and Lara agreed.

After Rose, Lara, and Sally arrived at the hospital, they immediately went inside and told the receptionist that they were coming for the boys and said their names. After the receptionist said what room and what floor they were on, the girls immediately went to the correct floor and room. Both boys sat there and the girls stood at the door. Rose knocked and opened the door. They all went in and one of them closed the door.
There the boys were in beds, resting comfortably with clothes on from the hospital. You could see everything a hospital had there. The boys had their eyes closed but when they heard the visitors, they woke up and looked up. They were happy to see the girls. Bunny felt his heart beating when he saw Sally.
The girls spent all day with the boys and there was a lot of talking. Later, the nurse came to get Max for a checkup so he left. Rose and Lara had decided to leave Bunny and Sally alone so they were now alone.
It was an awkward silence at first until Sally grabbed a stool and sat down by his bed. "How are you feeling?"
Bunny let out a small smile. "Better-especially now that you're here."
Sally blushed and smiled. She felt the exact same thing Bunny felt in his heart. It was beating and she also felt warm in her body. Was that possible? "Oh, how sweet of you, Bun Bun." Then Sally gently took his paw in her hand and they both just held each other.
It made them feel good and safe. Bunny smiled, his paw resting on Sally's hand and he closed his eyes to rest.
As Bunny sat resting with his eyes closed, Sally began to think about things. What if he left again? It had happened that way years ago and it was painful for everyone. Sally missed them terribly. She missed Max too, of course, but Bunny was the hardest. Sally didn't notice, but tears began to come and they rolled down her cheeks.
"Sally? Sally!"
Sally startled awake and looked at Bunny, who also looked sad and worried about her. She didn't hear him until he called her name. He squeezed her hand gently. "Everything okay?"
Most would just nod or reply that they were okay but Sally decided to tell the truth. She gently shook her head and cried harder, but she made sure no one outside the room heard. Bunny didn't know what to do and decided to let her sadness out first. He waited patiently for her to finish as he squeezed her hand ever so gently. What Bunny did finally calmed Sally down. He carefully sat up from his wounds and gave her a sweet hug. He gently silenced her and rubbed his paw over her back.
Sally calmed down until she stopped crying. Her eyes were swollen with tears.
The two released each other and looked into each other's eyes. Bunny smiled gently and rubbed the tears away from Sally's cheeks. "Are you okay now?"
Sally smiled back gently and nodded. She took a deep breath and sighed. Then there was silence for a while and Sally watched Bunny look away downstairs. She saw that he was thinking. About what? Then Bunny looked at her and blushed. He let his ears hang down and said gently, "Do you want to stay with me?"
Sally smiled with her eyes closed, just like they do in anime. She opened her eyes again and gently pushed Bunny back onto the bed and lay down by his side. She was careful with Bunny's wounds and laid her head against his chest. When she heard the beating of his heart, she calmed down, a sign that he was still alive.
Bunny smiled gently at her. If that helped her calm down, there was nothing wrong with that. But they were still teenagers and had to be careful what they did. He put his arm around her back and relaxed. Sally fell asleep later because her swollen eyes were tired. Bunny watched over her all the time.
