Sally was very grateful to be inside Rose's house. Outside it was raining hard. She was staying overnight for the weekend with the boys. Everyone was in the living room. Rose was reading a book on the couch and the kids were sitting in front of the TV on the mat. They took a little distance to not hurt their eyes by sitting too close to the screen. Everyone had a blanket around their shoulders. Rose had taken those blankets from the closet. Luckily, there was a blanket for everyone.
The children were watching a talent show on TV. In a few minutes, it would be over. Bunny and Max introduced the talent show to Sally. The children thought about how each might showcase their talents before speaking their thoughts aloud.
Just after the show was about to end, a man appeared wearing a black suit. It was a man who had a black beard. Just before Max could say "What's happening?", the man on the TV took the word.
He announced that they were looking for talented children who would like to participate in the show.
Sally furrowed her brow. Were they looking for children now? Since when did that enter their minds? Wouldn't it take too much energy? Sally looked at the boys and saw that their eyes were too focused on what the man was saying. Then she realized something. Were they planning to join in? The man also said that if you were interested in having your child or children participate, parents could register them online.
After the show was finally over, Bunny and Max stood up quickly as if they were almost late for something. Sally watched them walk over to Rose and start pleading with puppy dog eyes. Sally watched the whole time. She saw how Rose felt uncertain at first and also if that was what the boys really wanted. Rose also had questions in her mind. But after the boys wouldn't stop nagging, Rose sighed and finally, in the end, said what the boys wanted to hear. She agreed and would enroll them.
