Chapter 2

481 Words
After her father drove off, Sally went inside the gates and saw what school was like every day. Many children were playing. Playing soccer, basketball, puppets, hide and seek, tag, etc. That was nothing for Sally. She went to school every day except on weekends. A sad reality about Sally was that even though she went to a rich school, she had no friends with whom she hung out. Therefore, she didn't want to go to school. Not only was school not fun for her, but also because she was lonely. Her class teacher didn't even notice that Sally had problems socializing and that was tremendously bad news. Surely it was important to help a student in need? * "Okay everyone," Sally's teacher, Mrs. Cloud, began to say. "If you ever thought, we all have our own dreams of who we want to become later. I would like to hear from you who you want to be in the future one day." Mrs. Cloud was a white Angora hybrid cat. She was a human with white cat ears with a white tail as soft as a blanket. That's why she was called Mrs. Cloud because of her white hair color too! But if you didn't know, that was just her nickname. Sally had her hands pressed against her cheeks while her elbows were on the table. She didn't want to go to school today, but she had no choice. She then began daydreaming until she was jolted awake to reality. "What about you, Sally? What do you want to be later?" Sally didn't want to be in trouble. She was once caught by Mrs. Cloud and so she had to write a hundred sentences: "I'm not going to daydream". If she was kicked again, she had to go back and do it again and she definitely didn't want that! Luckily, she knew a long time ago what she wanted to be later. "An actress." Mrs. Cloud looked interested. "Why?" "I think it's cool how you can play and feel however you want! I always want to feel like a real actress! It would be cool!" Sally had stars in her eyes. "That's cool, Sally." Mrs. Cloud turned to the class. "Well, class, I found your answers very interesting and I hope in my heart that you will make up your dreams. Believe in yourselves." That was when the bell finally began to ring. All of the children were getting ready to go out, but all the students' attention had been stolen and so they were frozen where they were now. They all looked at Mrs. Cloud who grabbed their attention. "Tomorrow, two new students will come by. I will introduce you to them." Mrs. Cloud nodded. "Now go." Two new students? That was going to be interesting in Sally's mind. Maybe Sally would finally get what she had long wanted. Friends.
