Fate of the Galaxy

The Ringdom Undercover Vigilantes took down the barriers and shook the roof with their towering cannons, floating war drones and gigantic war ships. Maddison wasn't done yet. She was specifically warned in the foot note left by Joao to not involve anyone else, but Maddison was in no mood to fret. A ninth grade straight A's student, she seemed, but beneath her fragile skin lied the guts of a powerful mercenary. The Ringdom sergeants had a score to settle with the Inversian warrior. "Alright Joao. You have ten seconds to hand us that map and surrender yourself to the due course of justice!" a man well armed with loaded ammunition yelled. Joao still looked unusually confident - her sinister facial expression suggested that she felt defeating Maddison as well as the team of 'psychophants' she had in her support wasn't impossible. She planned to escape with the neon display map unhurt. "You don't scare me mortals!!! You don't frighten me one little bit and I'm warning you..." Joao said, only pausing to brandish her katana and warm up her electrical whip. "...If anyone of you attempts to get between me and this map here, then I promise you. I will feed your heads to beasts that roam the twenty seven fields of Inversia and..." "Blah! Blah!! Blah!!! Could you save us the pep talk and get straight to actual fight?" said Maddie, whose statement sparked a comical frenzy at the Seattle Demolition Theatre. "...I promise you. I will place your skull in my chambers as a trophy" Joao runted once more. On hearing her final statement, the front liners of the Ringdom sergeant's attack pulled the trigger as many times as they could. The loud noise from the Seattle Downtown Incinerator could be heard lots of miles away. The Ringdom seargents hit Joao with everything they had until Lieutenant Berge forced a halt. It took quite a while before the smoke formed by the massive g*n battle could fade away, but alas; Joao was gone! She had probably escaped the imminent doom by walking across one of her portals. "...there she does it again. Inversian coward! Running away when the scuffles get intense; she's no war goddess!" Maddison lamented. Maddie's words couldn't have borne any more accuracy - Joao had the habit of sneaking out of scene when her duels became too impossible to emerge victorious from. The real bone of contention now became the development that Joao now had the location of the green amethyst in her palms. "Maddie! Tell me you didn't just hand the enemy the location of the green amethyst..." Lieutenant Berge asked in grief; he placed his hands on either of Maddison's shoulders and shook her aggressively. "Well why should I tell you that...I mean, you saw the device in her hands..." said Maddison who was all about easing the growing tension in the atmosphere. "I'm not in the mood for jokes right now Maddison..." "Okay...Okay relax. I didn't actually give her the map..." Maddie said, to everyone's amazement. A number of sergeants who could clearly hear the exchange of words between the duo heaved an enormous sigh of relief. Lieutenant Berge and Maddison gave each other a huge palm slam after Maddie had explained that she had actually given Joao a time bomb set for demolition in thirty minutes. Joao was in too much of a hurry to confirm if the 'map' she was handed could actually help her triangulate the location of the special amethyst. So for now at least, the secret hadn't gotten out. Indeed, smart thinking from Maddie. After celebrating their latest conquest over Joao with loud chattery and crazy victory chants, Maddison realized that there was one final thing left to do. If Cherry and Troy could be rescued from danger tonight, Maddison might be able to rest her head properly knowing that they were no longer at risk of any form of danger. The Vaagmers already had visuals on the green amethyst's location and so the chances of stopping them from obtaining the stone were close to zero. "Lieutenant...Lieutenant!" Maddison yelled to get the attention of Officer Berge but it was hardly easy. Lieutenant Berge was just speaking to some co-mercenaries about Maddison's hilarious feat; he seemed more excited about it than even Maddison did. "What is it Maddie?" he asked. "Uhh it's my friends Troy and Cherry...I think they've been abducted..." "Abducted? By who?" Lieutenant Berge asked. "I don't know! I boarded them on some black ops flight to Warsaw with some dudes called the HKV and..." Maddison was abruptly interrupted by Berge who seemed to shudder on hearing the name 'HKV'. The entire Ringdom dynasty knew a lot more about the Hermus Klostermann Vaagmers than Maddison did. They'd had a really rough run through with the Vaagmers. "The HKV? Tell me you're joking right now..." Lieutenant Berge said to s***h his doubts. "Yeah, the HKV. Is there something I don't know about these guys?" said Maddison. "You mean you out smarted a notorious war goddess and supply Intel to a team of undercover crime fighters and you do not know who the HKV are?" "Yeah pretty much" Maddie responded after replaying the question in her head multiple times. Time was running out on Cherry and Troy. Lieutenant Berge immediately signaled one of his subordinates to obtain tabs on the precise location of the two heroes energy signatures. The earlier they were the rescued and brought back to safety, the better. After a lengthy search period, a sergeant obtained their locations from the search module. Cherry and Troy were far in the Middle East; precisely on the border of North East Yemen. The team immediately set out in numbers to find the duo. Maddison initially doubted the possibility of soaring straight to Yemen in one night. "Gather the troops! We're headed straight for the Vaagmers Base in Area 247. I need Aero visuals on the base right now..." another Lieutenant Diogo said to a subordinate. "Uhhh...Lieutenant Sir. I doubt if it is possible to reach the Middle East within such short notice..." Maddie said, struggling to keep up with his walking pace. "You're right...it is impossible to reach the Middle East in short notice..." Lieutenant Diogo said. Maddison waited for about the quarter of a minute, hoping he'd introduce a 'but' to his rather negative sentence - "I thought you were going to introduce a conjunction to flip the whole essence of your sentence" Maddison understandably asked. "...Ever heard of the Velodrome?" Diogo asked. Maddison wondered at What he spoke of. She had heard a lot of terms in the field of science but she had definitely never heard of a 'velodrome'. It seemed she still had a lot more to learn. "What's a velodrome man?" Maddie asked the Lieutenant while shrieking her face in utter confusion. The Lieutenant then took out time to explain what he meant. Velodromes were large newfangled vortexes that could ship items, objects and individuals across two different inputted coordinates by shrinking them into infinitesimal sizes and pushing them through velocity jump rings that lead them to their destinations in real time. The Velodromes were perhaps the Ringdom Undercover Universe's best contemporary invention yet. Maddison was completely blown away by the machine's intricacies. She immediately soliloquises saying she really needed to get her A game back on. Billions of gigamiles away within the galaxy, Joao arrived at Inversia with her 'map', which was now looking like the key to restoring her people's firm grip on single life form that existed. Joao sat in her dark chambers and shut that existed. Joao sat in her dark chambers and shut her doors in order to be able to read the maps content effectively. Just before she opened it she brought out an amulet from her utility belt; on it, a carving of the Inversian rulers of ages past could boldly be seen. Joao recited some mandatory incantations in her way of acknowledging how far they had brought her in the quest for dominance. "...Oh mother of Inversia, our land will know the glory days once more" she said to round up her lengthy vote of thanks. As she pulled out the supposed neon display mapping device, she pushed the huge red button at its center and received a short message from a familiar foe. "Psyche!!!" Maddie's voice over yelled and in split seconds, the device blew up and slightly burnt her arms and put a few permanent scars on her face. Her chambers were completely blown to bits - the Inversian goddess felt humiliated; what was worse was the fact that she had been deceived by a mere mortal, despite her numerous extreme threats. "No!!!" she wailed so loudly; her voice could be heard win matches within millions of square kilometers across the Inversian neosphere. Maddison had surely crossed her boundaries this time and Joao was going to do every single thing in her might to ensure she paid defying an Inversian heroine. Faraway in the Vaagmer's Yemeni base, Cherry and Troy had fallen unconscious - they hadn't had a decent meal in days, and so the duo felt it was finally time to accept fate for once rather than rebel against it like they usually did. Even in their helplessness, Officer Gregorz wouldn't go against his evil promise. He immediately ordered his minions and ruthless fanatics to lock them down in the nuclear reaction chamber. The quest for Vengeance had taken over his sense of sympathy. Officer Greg and the rest of his devious team of futurists took a lot of time before heading to activate the atomic cloud. As if the order of things were divinely orchestrated, the Ringdom Patrol Sergeants found their way into the HKV undercover base. Their arrival created a buzz in the atmosphere and the Vaagmers were evidently feeling uneasy. Many might have wondered why rescuing the heroes was so important to the Ringdom Vigilantes. A road map that underlined the roles of all four of Mason, Madonna, Cherry and Troy was in the pipeline. Ringdom Incorporated was looking to collaborate with the heroes to establish a formidable intergalactic crime combat squad. Greg and his Vaagmerian subordinates were reluctant to give up Cherry and Troy from their custody despite their numerical disadvantage. Neither side was willing to go down without a fight.
