18- The Library Was A Bust

So I’m sitting here in the library and I’m beginning to stress out. I searched through countless books and even searched online. Apparently, my case of having two mates has happened but not the way it’s happening to me.

According to what I found out, wolves can have a 2nd mate known as a second chance mate if their mate passed away or if their mate rejected them and they’re lucky enough to get blessed by the mood goddess and get another mate, but it’s very rare because most won’t deserve it.

As for Alpha’s and their mates, I’ve only read that the Alpha's mate becomes the Luna, duh, everyone knows that. What was interesting was that there aren’t many Alphas who are women out there. It’s said that if the Alpha has no sons the title of Alpha would go to whomever the Alpha chooses. In history, none have chosen to give it to a woman. Sexist f***s.

In pack history, it shows that there’s only ever been two packs that have started incorporating the ways of new times, meaning with no sexism and everyone is welcome regardless of gender, s****l preference, or anything else people tend to steer clear of. I’m so happy and proud to see that my pack which is the strongest one out there is one of them. There’s another pack which is the 2nd strongest around and that one is mainly run by women. There are men in that pack but the men don’t mind letting their women show their strength and run the show, which is AMAZING if you ask me.

There are notes stating that weird occurrences usually happen to true Alpha’s, which are people who were born to lead, people who always put others first and also rule fairly. I won’t be surprised if that means I’m a true Alpha with all of this craziness going on, like two mates who don’t seem to get the memo that I’m their mate. I’m so lucky…..not!

It says that wolves used to get along with witches until there was a witch that fell for a wolf, but the wolf didn’t love her back, so when she found out that he didn’t share those same feelings she cursed the man and his future male pups. The man luckily only had a daughter (her mom died during childbirth) who grew up without any signs of being cursed so he never shared any information about the curse with his daughter. The man then died of old age. Years later it’s said that she had sons and her husband was killed by rogues. It didn’t state which pack the cursed man belonged to or which coven the witch was from. It stated that the daughter's sons, (the man's grandsons) were cursed because the curse laid dormant in the daughter's blood and they didn’t find a cure or any information as to how to cure it. The guys would now be around 20.

That whole story is horrible. Why would someone be so cruel? Couldn’t she just have found a new person to crush on? Why did she have to curse that man and his bloodline?

If I ever come across those guys I would be able to take them to see a witch who might be able to help them. Our pack is accepting and we’re all about joining forces. We have friends everywhere and that’s part of what makes us the most powerful pack. No one dares mess with us but we still train because you never know when we’ll need to fight.

None of this stuff helps with me having two mates, but I did learn some interesting stuff. At least one question was answered which is: how it’s possible that I ended up with two mates. (because I’m a true alpha). This doesn’t help my dilemma now though.

I have a feeling that I got a long road ahead of me with this one smh.
