Torn Between Two Mates

19- Huh?

I’m in this class and I’m not able to focus at all.

Ryan keeps giving me weird looks because I keep spacing out. The teacher picks that moment to call on me. Thankfully Ryan’s the real MVP and he kept giving me the answers.

To avoid any more unwanted attention I decide to look busy by updating my journal, maybe the teacher would think I’m doing the classwork lol.

I don’t know how just one sweet thing can cause me to become so distracted. Her face just kept popping in my head, and her scent is so powerful to my senses, so much so that my wolf is warning me to not even think about any other female which is crazy because he gets a rush from flirting with them.

I like to blame him when his flirtatious ways come out.

I’ve heard that wolves tend to only have an eye for only one person but that’s only when they find their mates.

Could it be that he’s acting like this because we’re mates? If we are then why hasn’t he claimed her? Why didn’t she say I was her mate when she saw me? Is she in a relationship? Does she want a mate? Does she want to reject me? Why am I jumping the gun with this?

I don’t even know if there’s a possibility of us being mates.

I know that Chase has been around longer than I have so maybe he knows something I don’t. It sucks that we’re forced to be on different schedules, so I can’t ask him face to face.

He’s not the easiest person to get along with since he has a temper and is sarcastic as f**k. People assume he’s an asshole but he’s not. You just need to get to know him and hope he lets you in.

I’ll shoot him a text. Hopefully, I’ll get some useful information from him.

In the meantime, I’ll try to get to know little miss sunshine and her pack.

I wonder what class she has now.
