"What are you hiding?" Victor asked looking at Rosie.
Rosie looked away, Victor grabbed her arm and turned her towards him.
"Tell me, I know you have been hiding something, just tell me."
Rosie looked at him, "I-I'm pregnant" she finally answered.
Victor looked at her, "That's why your scent changed?"
Rosie nodded and looked into his eyes, "We-We're mates, you should accept me. Accept our pup." she said walking towards him.
"Don't touch me," he said backing away from her.
Vincent had passed out in the chair next to the bed when Victor looked his way, he froze.
"What is wrong with him?" Victor asked
Rosie quickly went to Vincent and then looked back at Victor. "Get Kylie," she said in a hurry.
Victor rushed out of the door and found Kylie sitting in a chair looking exhausted. "Something is wrong with Vincent." He rushed to say.
Kylie ran into the room and saw Vincent slumped over in the chair. She had Victor help her put him into the bed beside Anna, she checked his body for marks and found several but one in particular concerned her. She checked Anna and found a similar one.
Griffin had returned in time to see this scene.
"Why would Vincent have the same mark as Anna?" she asked out loud concerned.
Griffin's voice came from behind her, "I found him passed out in his office."
Victor looked at Anna and then back at Vincent, "Someone tried to hurt them both?"
"I made you all something to eat, go I will watch over them both," Griffin said to the people inside the room.
"No" Victor answered, "I won't leave her."
"It's only a few steps, see," he said pointing to the table. "Go eat. If you don't, Kylie won't either. Look at her, she needs to eat."
Victor finally agreed, looking at the state of his sister.
Jason appeared inside the room, he had retrieved medical supplies and started checking both Anna and Vincent. He got a strange feeling but didn't want to upset anyone. Kylie saw the look on his face and mind-linked him.
"What? What do you see?" she asked him.
"The marks on his body, someone did something to him." he finally linked back.
"Her?"
"She was tortured, I see you healed her but she still has the marks."
Kylie nodded and continued to eat, worry running through her.
Victor went back into the room and he carefully hugged his mate, whispering into her ears, "You are safe now, I love you." He crawled onto the bed and held her close. "I love you so much, I won't let anyone hurt you again."
He looked at Vincent, He had such a bad feeling. When Rosie returned, he whispered to Kylie, "Sister, she is pregnant, please find her a bed. She needs to rest." Rosie looked at him confused.
"Of course, come on." Kylie motioned to her to follow.
Jason stopped her, "Stay here a little longer, I will take her." Kylie nodded and soon drifted off to sleep in her chair.
Sven went to her and picked her lifeless body up, he took her to her bed chamber and laid her carefully down on the bed. She had such a horrible time trying to find that girl. She needed to sleep well. He stayed and watched over her.
Jason took Rosie to a room, "Here," he said handing her something to sleep in.
Rosie looked at him, "You know what happened?" she asked him.
Jason nodded,
"You think I am disgusting?" she asked him ashamed.
"I just am surprised that her sister caused her so much pain. You should have felt it, known, long before the bond broke." Jason said after thinking it over.
"His bond, it never broke," Rosie said looking at Jason.
"Strange indeed," Jason said looking at her. "You still love Victor?"
"I do" she admitted. "He wants nothing to do with me."
Jason stared at her for a few minutes. "Because you knew you were hurting her and you just didn't care?"
Rosie stared at the floor for a long time, Jason turned to leave, "Do you think he will ever forgive me?" she whispered
Jason stopped with his hand about to close the door. "Perhaps."
Brandon went to check on Kylie and found her and Sven sound asleep. Griffin and Jason had stayed to keep an eye on Vincent and Anna. He climbed into the bed with them and wrapping his arms around Kylie, he quickly drifted off to sleep. None of them had slept much since Anna had disappeared and they finally felt some peace.
They slept into the morning hours.
Kylie woke, stretching, she saw her two mates beside her. They were each hugging her tightly. It made her smile. They were both so protective of her. She carefully left the bed and went to check on Anna. Walking into the room, she found her two exhausted mates looking after her brother, and her other brother asleep clutching onto his mate. They were all still sleeping soundly.
"Are they ok?" Kylie questioned.
"Yes, his body went through some trauma. Her's was much worse. Someone cared for her at the end. They tried to fix what they did." Jason advised.
