Several hours later, Anna started to stir. She slowly opened her eyes but quickly closed them. The bright light was more than she could handle. She had been kept in such dark places. She tried to open her eyes again, Vincent was the first to see her, he realized what was happening and quickly asked for the lights to be turned off.
Anna followed his voice and stared at him in the darkroom. The only light coming in was from the moon. She studied his face for a few minutes, confused. She was quite disorientated.
Hearing a rustling she quickly flinched away, whispering to him, "How did he get you?"
Vincent took her hand, "You are safe."
She tried to focus on his face, she was confused. How was she safe?
Then she heard Victor, "Anna? Are you ok?" he asked caressing her other hand.
"V-Victor?" she whispered and his face appeared in front of her eyes.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she freed her hands and clutched onto his neck, "I-I thought . . ." all that could be heard was her sobbing.
Victor held her tight against his chest while she shook, he rubbed her back trying to calm her.
Kylie walked into the room, she felt her heart, break watching the scene in front of her.
"Thought what?" he finally asked.
"He said I would never see you again." she finally mumbled into his chest.
"We never stopped looking for you," Victor said holding her tighter.
"R-Really?" she got out between sobs.
"The entire pack, everyone went out. But Vincent, Rosie, and Kylie, they worked the hardest. An entire witches coven helped Kylie, they helped her find you." he said as her bright eyes locked onto his. Then she looked at all the people inside the room.
"Thank you all, you have no idea what he did, just thank you for saving me." When she started to move around to talk to them she doubled over and she screamed out in pain.
Jason rushed over and quickly helped her to lie back. "Try not to move so much," he said checking her abdomen.
"What happened?" Victor asked concerned.
Vincent appeared to be in just as much pain. His breathing became erratic.
Victor looked at Vincent confused and then back at Anna.
"It appears that someone performed a surgery on her," Jason answered changing the dressing he had placed.
"I healed her, but I could only do so much," Kylie advised. I could heal her wounds but the surgical wounds are different. They were enchanted."
Victor was confused but listened to everyone around him.
Anna smiled weakly, caressing his cheek. "I'm ok, I will be fine. He-He said I could have a pup," she whispered out before the drugs that Jason had injected put her back to sleep.
"He What?" Victor asked his eyes wide.
Kylie looked at Victor and then to Jason, she was confused. "Why would he tell her that? Of course, she could have a pup."
Jason coughed and Kylie looked at him,
Victor finally looked at Kylie, "Mom and Jason told us that she might not be able to have a pup, at least not one of our own." he said caressing her cheek as she slept.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Vincent asked he was angry.
"Why? So you two could flaunt that baby in front of us?" Victor yelled out
Vincent looked at him confused then looked at Rosie, "What baby?"
Rosie looked down at her stomach and then back at Vincent.
Kylie looked at her brother's and then to their mates. "I'm so sorry," Kylie said confusion clear on her face.
"It doesn't matter, all I need is her," Victor said never taking his eyes off her beautiful face. "They have their family and we have ours."
"I didn't know, I swear," Vincent said still staring at Rosie. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want you to stay just because I'm pregnant," she said back to him.
Vincent sighed and went to Rosie, putting his arm around her. "I love you, Rosie. I just didn't know."
"Where did you go yesterday?" she asked him.
"I didn't go anywhere," Vincent answered confused.
"You did, I went to your office to tell you and you were gone."
Vincent shook his head, "I didn't go anywhere yesterday, I was in my office looking over the maps again."
"You are lying," she said shaking her head.
Kylie looked at them confused. She believed her brother.
"I saw the marks on you, I know," she said glaring at him.
"Know what?" Vincent asked her with a blank look on his face.
"Someone did that to you," she growled out.
"You're crazy," he said shaking his head.
