The Annoying Noise

The annoying noise that I want the ground to swallow me. Yet I always try to find it. Why?

The annoying noise from all the people around me is so suffocating that I want to disappear. The tiring smile I must keep on my face to avoid being questioned, the boring conversation of tiresome life, and the prolonged conversation that becomes incomprehensible to my ear.

Maintaining my smile is so tiring!But you don't want to be left behind...Why must I comfort her?Because she comforted you before...I feel like they're speaking a different language...Just smile, you'll understand it eventually...But--Don't say you're tired. You'll regret it later, again!But, seriously--No! Stop! I don't want to hear you weeping amid the silence later!.........Okay. You're right...

In the end, what did the young girl do? She stayed even when she felt alienated, fearing the silence. She felt tired from understanding the languages of the other party, but it was better than the deafening silence when she was alone. The annoying noise was like a break from her frenzied episodes. At least, she could be distracted from the screams in her head. Noises that are so clear in the ear yet so blurry in her sight.

In the dead of night, she would scream in her room at the top of her lungs, but only small whines and whimpers could be heard.

Her screams would continue until she could no longer breathe and had headaches. Only then, will she stop and fall asleep on her own. The next day, she wakes up and just laughs awkwardly at herself. She then continues her day as before the Crumbling happened. But as they say, "What goes around, comes around".
