Determination

Jee's POV "Jee what's going on, what's wrong? You know you can tell me anything?" Becks says to me. I might as well tell her now. I've known what type of character she has been since we grew up with each other. She goes too far but she needs to know now so that she can get this imprinted in her head. "This is for my female. I didn't bring this to our tribe, she did. She is not a winged beast, so she doesn't eat what we eat. That is why I brought her this, since she can enjoy it tonight." I said back to her determined. There she goes. That look. That dangerous appearance. I can handle any male you can think of in this kingdom, but females are different. Becks always had this envious look whenever any female wanted to get close to me and I knew it. So I decided to keep her in check so that she wouldn't do any harm to any other female, but now I have no choice. I have to make things clear. I was glad Isaiah wanted her. I thought that this would finally change her motivation to be with me and she would focus on them. I hope I am not wrong. "Your female? When did this happen? When and how did you meet someone so fast? Since? Since that day? So is she the new female who came? She came with you? You brought her?" She asks concerned. I see her eyes. They look like they are glaring. Why accept my brother if you still have feelings for me? Did she think that she could have both? I'm trying so hard to hold my temper. I don't want to scare Violet away from me. "Yes she is and yes, I brought her here. My intentions are to have her choose me as her male." I said back to her. "You don't think this is too soon? It's not been long since?" she asks, concerned. "This is the beast kingdom. This is normal to happen. I chose her. I want her to choose me." I said back to her. I know the type of character Becks is. If it wasn't for her father, who was really close to father, I would never have cared for her as much. Honestly, I didn't like any of the females here. I know that I can't be possessive and I've accepted the fact that I will have to share my female, but who I choose has to be someone that fits me. Rebecca loved to be in the spotlight, no matter the consequences. Every party, even if it wasn't her party, she would take the spotlight from all the females. She would try to be the flashiest and put down others since their ranks were lower. I had enough of it. That day I was ready to tell her I wanted to look for another female before we left, but with my luck, my brother decided to change our fate. Because of him, I was able to let go of Becks and transition her to him. It was the best convenience that ever happened to me. I was so happy. I felt free. Being around her, she always clinged to me. She reminded me of a shadow that was latched to my leg. Made me go on adventures which were pointless. Our job is to help the tribe not make the tribe look dumb in front of others. To me, she was someone who just took up space. When I met Violet, how she held herself made me want her more. She was educated and had such a familiar air of knowledge not even I knew about it. I have studied anything and everything in this kingdom. Wealth, politics, agriculture, survival, military, but nothing like her. She had already benefited our tribe with fish, little suns and traps. I can't wait to see the outcome of how the trap will look tomorrow morning. "Jee? Jee? Are you listening to me?" she asks. "Sorry my mind is somewhere else. Anyways, you have to give that back. That is not yours." I said back to her urgently. I want to go with Violet now and I don't want someone like Becks to get in the way of who I want. "Jee, I already miss being around you so much. As a friend, you should wait some time to make sure this is the person you want to spend your remaining life with. I was even considering, since we love each other so much, why don't you be my male too? You know it's natural for us females to have more than one beastman. It will be fine, right?" she asks. "Becks. I am very happy for you and my brother. I know that he would probably be upset that you would even say something like that to me. I hope that you and him and your other males will be happy together and cherish each other." I said back to her and started to grab the fish from her. "You are not right now. You stayed to talk things out with me, right? That is why you stayed, right? I know that is why. I am here and I will listen to you and what you say. I'm sorry I did not stay with you." she says back to me, crying "No, that is not why I stayed back. It was fate that I met my female. The gods brought her to me and I will take their gift greedily." I said back to her and snatched the fish away. I believe it was fate. I left a little late because I was scouting something nearby. I found out it was the wolf pack that was hunting for something. For some reason, the wolves are moving nearer to our nests. I thought it was the horse clan but it was the wolves. I finally picked up their tracks so I laid low to see why they were moving closer to us. Our area is bare. Nothing of wanting is here so why would they move or search here? After following them for some time, I decided they didn't look like they were trying to start a territory war with us, so I made the decision to leave and join my brothers. That's when I saw her.
