Chapter TwentyCallum didn’t come for dinner. It’s Sunday now, and I haven’t heard from either him or Daisy since the bust up on Thursday. I saw him at school quickly, but we don’t have many lessons together and he wasn’t in the canteen at lunch. Daisy didn’t knock for me Friday morning, but she did say she wasn’t coming in, so that wasn’t a surprise. I texted Callum to see if he wants to go for a kickabout, but he was busy. I haven’t texted Daisy. I think she needs some space. So on a day when it actually isn’t freezing or raining, I’m lying inside, on my bed, alone. I tried to put a film on earlier, but Peter Pan was lying on top of the DVD player and I got side-tracked thinking about when I watched it with Daisy. It feels like forever ago.
